- A lot of people have asked me to react to some of my old videos. I didn't really know what that meant but I decided It would be fun to fire up some old videos and talk about them and watch them with you. Please enjoy! :)

Really enjoyed this Boogie. It's nice to see genuine emotion. I watched a couple of Markiplier's videos of him looking back on old videos and what happens is that he doesn't blink for 15 minutes so that he can shed a tear, get youtube riches and plan his next one. This was like watching videos with an old friend.
How do you know Markilplier doesn't actually cry?

Spectre v13 Ehhh i genuinely think Mark really puts his heart and soul into what he does just as much as Boogie, Mark just seems to be the more emotional type, which i don't mind, it makes you remember he's human.

***** Markiplier does amazing charity work, which cannot be denied. He's raised a huge amount of money for charity and is all round a good guy. It's just the fact he ends up in tears in every one of his thank you videos, and when he looks at past videos he's again in tears, it just seems very formulaic.

The good old days of youtube 2006-2007: 30% naruto videos, 30% reaction videos (2girls1cup, etc), and 40% vlogs and funny sketches. Gaming on youtube didnt really take off until 2011.

Goes to show that my favorite big TH-camrs, and in my opinions some of the best if not the best TH-camrs, didn't start out professionally at all. They started out with random, basic, and even stupid videos because they just wanted to do it for fun and didn't think it would spiral out of control to what it is today :)
It drives me nuts that youtubers always assume their sub base is nothing but 10 year olds. Boogs, for some of us to not be alive yet when you uploaded your first video, they'd have to be 9 years old or younger. You really think you have that many viewers that are 9 years or younger??

Lyndan Actually, he may be going off of what his analytics are telling him. You can divide your viewer base into age range demographics when you put your age into Google+, so my age range is like 18-24 years old. He may have a wide viewer base that are early adolescent (13-17) according to viewer demographics.
I think he also meant that as a joke, because 2006 really feels like centuries ago. He didn't literally mean that his fans are 9 years old.

It's great seeing just some random guy with stupid videos become what you are today! It's nice to be able to show people that you DO have what it takes to be somebody. Anyone who is afraid to put themselves out there, just remember that the people you look up to and respect today had to start in your position. YOU CAN DO IT!

God i can remember those videos...i use to binge-watch and rewatch boogie videos for hours. I started watching your channel 5 years ago, boogs. Always been a huge fan, you've inspired me to keep gaming and to keep being myself! I've always had a connection with you, in my mind at least since you don't know who i am, you're a friendly face and a comfort at the end of long, stressful days. Keep doing what you're doing.

Boogie I owe you a huge apologie. The first video of yours I saw was Francis reacting to the world at war video. Without any knowledge of who you are I left a nasty comment or two. Still, the first vid of yours I ever saw was the guitar hero freak out. It wouldn't be for a little while later that you'd blow up and make it to a million subscribers.

I remember some of these actually, after watching your Error 37 Diablo 3 vid I went back through and started watching all your videos and I loved those ones of you at the game store with your friends, that was so hilarious! It reminded me of me and my friends. Good times!

I was 8 when you started in 2006 and started somewhere in 2007-2008 and seeing what's happened to youtube since then has been one hell of a ride.
For those who sees my channel and saying I actually started in 2011, that ain't true, I've been on TH-cam longer than 2011 and I just switched to this channel and the other one was deleted.

The original "World of Warcraft is DOWN" video was the first of yours that I saw. When I was playing WoW it got posted on my guild forums and you had an instant subscriber. Been watching most of your videos ever since!

The first video that I saw you in was the Francis on Christmas Eve lightsaber shenanigans. A friend of mine heard about it on the Internet Box podcast, and at the time we had a professor that neither of us liked whose name had the same syllable meter as "QuiGonn Jinn".

I really love it when TH-camrs do these kinds of videos. It just amazes me to see just how far some people have come, and you certainly are one fantastic example. 2006 was a FAR different time than now. Some of that stuff that was hilarious just kind of died slowly like you had said... Except Mystery Science Theater 3000, that is genius.
But that being said, I'm very happy with what you do now, I love to listen to all of your opinions and my friends do too... And with all this being said, here's a request

I remember I found the video with you eating french fries, sometime in 2008 or 2009 and at the time, I hated you (lol), but the last couple of years, I've really enjoyed your content and you're such a wonderful person, Boogie. It was awesome to see some of these older videos.

I remember when I started off my first TH-cam with a £2 webcam and a £3 headset. Looking back now I realize how dumb that was but we have all got to start somewhere. I probably think it was daft starting with them because I use an Elgato Game Capture HD and a Blue Snowball but it's always fun looking back on old content and seeing how far you have come
