I had a dog named "Stop-by-a-train" that looked just like Gebak in cainine form(of coure) I now currently have a cat named "Pumkin" (happens to be a male cat) who resembles Queen Thalira in feline form. the class system in these Pels in clearly related to the color of their non-white hair being either orange or smoke.
Hahaha Barry Letts it's obvious that only did this serial to save money by reusing sets and costumes from the not-exactly-stellar "Curse of Peladon" serial from a couple of series before.
One thing about this story that I really liked is how it showed an Ice Warrior's POV. Cool stuff.
They'd also done that early on in The Seeds of Death. :-)
This was a real "HOLY SHIT!!!" moment for me the first time I saw this story since I didn't know the Ice Warriors would be in it.
Too bad I already knew they were in when I first watched it.
Wow the Doctor using the screwdriver to unscrew a screw, hey, who knew!
Before it became a Muggle's magic wand in NuWho...
Love classic Doctor Who esp Pat Troughton Jon Pertwee & Tom Baker. Doctor Who was so awesome from 1967-1981.
they are the only ones that count! I think William Hartnel did have his moments though! like "The Romans".
I love this era so much
Frank Gatliff appeared a few years later as one of Servalan's disposable lackeys in Blake's 7
0:50 Jasper Carrot. His daughter played Dawn in The Office. The original UK series.
There’s more than evil there... there are also dodgy wigs and costumes. Love One Eyed Willie in his green pelmet curtain though 🤗
0:52 Aaaayyy! Sarah Jane is wearing the Fonz's jacket!!!

Why does Sarah Jane look like Frida from Abba during her main tenure?
The Colorization Channel we all did back in those days
Why dose he look like tom baker
Harvey Cowie it is his nose it looks similar to tom
at 1:55 he 's a dead ringer for Gene Wilder too.
He *sounds* a bit like Tom Baker here, too! Pure coincidence. :-)
Tom Baker v2

Nice guilty, furtive acting on Donald Gee's face as Sarah outlines their suspicions.
