He went uninterrupted doesn't prove that it's a problem, if he had ftk under something like shifter then that would be a different story. It's a cool ftk but nothing to worry about.

That seems pretty good to me. Obviously it's not Kashtira or Tear levels of good, but that doesn't really matter imo. There's always going to be the potential that this ftk is going to be good enough to see consistent ladder play as long as Machu Mech is legal, and that's something that should be worth looking at on the banlist

If anything in these kinds of combo decks should be banned, then it's the ones, that special summon from the deck without deeper restrictions, like MX-Saber (shouldn't be unbanned in my opinion), Isolde or Rescue Ferret. But anyway, these decks will never be meta, because you need your combo starter while playing many cards you don't want to draw plus are always very vulnerable to interruptions. They also suck going second. And in a best of 3 format, your opponent, just sides conter in game 2 and 3.

This combo chain is genuinely impressive! I recently got into Master Duel as someone who played a longer time ago and the game itself is great, but it's also super complex to memorize all the effects and the current meta has evolved into being quite tedious. People just setting up for one turn kills with 100+ second combos. My favourite battles are when the game extends to more turns and it is definitely fun in the mid ranks of the ranked matches.
Watching you and Quantum theory craft this was really cool for me. Even though I started playing over a year ago I still know basically nothing. Was cool to see people that know so much just throw ideas out. Hope to have half he info someday.

i've never seen coder look so genuinely this happy before ... ps. literally the kaiba arc that he invented time machine to go fight yami yugi again because the pharaoh is gone and he can't live with himself after that.
The combo isn't even that great, because all you need to stop it is one ash, imperm or nib and there is nothing you can make as a backup plan, if the combo fails, BUT its so damn wholesome to see how much fun coder has with this. Just hearing this pure joy and excitment in his voice is so heart warming to for me.
I wish I could see the opponent during this. To see the utter confusion on their face for the first 90% of that combo turn to absolute fear once Machu Mech comes out... 👌
@@ShiroiKibai used it as a tech to otk after dropping nib on someone as that deck really struggled to finish games even after using a lot of interruption. Also i was just very stupid and had no real clue as to how deck building works. It was extremely funny though

Hey Coder, ive been play testing this decklist and i have some thoughts about it and maybe some points to improve if possible. So whenever you open your hand with arma you basicly need to scoop. Open up with 2 equip spells in hand is also scoop. Never ever search for gouki twist except with ferret. Apart from this i was wondering why you use destrudo while you have a plaguespreader in grave. You could cut destrudo and dragon ravine for even more consistency. I get why you need to use romulus because of pisty but maybe theres a better alternative if you dont need ravine and destrudo. Just some food for thought haha. I love playing it but i think theres even more potential 😂 keep up the good work brother you rock!
It works without Ravine and Destrudo, i just used a list without them and it doesn't even need gigantic or iblee. I use 6 Equips so drawing 2 is not a insta scoop. But yea Arma in Hand or no Starter is basically scoop.

I use Black Garden. The Token is Lv 2 so i can make Ahashima with the Rose Token and the Gouki Headbatt at the end. The only downside is that you are very vulnerable to Nibiru with this line.@@MikeBotGaming
We finally entered the "Make Konami ban the game logo" challenge (even if we all know they will just ban Machu Mech but they must learn a lesson: unbanning Invoker was a bad idea)
I think the guy's response in hand was a bystial since he was able to respond right when coder had ze amin on board and dumped foxy tune, so w that in mind, he should have banished the summoner monk in response to selene, but ig it was a bit confusing taking everything going on, and once appo was on board, he was too late cuz he probably only had one bystial in hand so he couldnt chain another bystial to the appo negate. That, along w the opponents response going away after gigantic resolved, makes me think it was bystial...i think that's how it went at least lol, would have to check the opponents deck. And to be fair about him missing the choke points, when a card allows you to reborn any card without targeting, it can be hard to know exactly what they'll choose to reborn unless they only have one viable target
Yeah, but unless you get imperm or effect veiler, at that point it's too late. You can't nibiru or gamma or bystial, cause gigantic lock is for BOTH players. You can't ash anything cause nothing is added after geonator transverser is on field. You can ogre I guess? But that requires you to play ogre which is bad against a lot of decks, except spright (tear and dragon link and branded don't care too much about ogre)

The combo got so clean compared to last video's combo.
And he even improved it later on stream, adding a lot of lvl 3 extenders that make the combo way more resilient to Hand Traps etc.
It’s also tcg legal assuming we get invoker back. Expensive but legal.

I think the guy's response in hand was a bystial since he was able to respond right when coder had ze amin on board and dumped foxy tune, so w that in mind, he should have banished the summoner monk in response to selene, but ig it was a bit confusing taking everything going on, and once appo was on board, he was too late cuz he probably only had one bystial in hand so he couldnt chain another bystial to the appo negate. That, along w the opponents response going away after gigantic resolved, makes me think it was bystial...i think that's how it went at least lol, would have to check the opponents deck. And to be fair about him missing the choke points, when a card allows you to reborn any card without targeting, it can be hard to know exactly what they'll choose to reborn unless they only have one viable target

Yeah, but unless you get imperm or effect veiler, at that point it's too late. You can't nibiru or gamma or bystial, cause gigantic lock is for BOTH players. You can't ash anything cause nothing is added after geonator transverser is on field. You can ogre I guess? But that requires you to play ogre which is bad against a lot of decks, except spright (tear and dragon link and branded don't care too much about ogre)
