I'm 51 now happily married with 2 wonderful kids 22&17 lol one who clubs but I'm pretty sure neither will ever experience what we did back then. An absolute milestone in musical history that I am so proud to have been a part of it was amazing! thanks for sharing ;-)

This is the mix I remember, just amazing example of an eclectic era of creativity - copyright laws and profiteers( labels) will eventually wipe out whole amazing swathes of our shared history. But we will never forget & hopefully we'll keep making physical copies over and over and over..... Algorithms - Schmalgorithms!
So great to hear this pre Deconstruction, 1991 release white label version. What an awesome track!! They definitely don't make tracks like this anymore. This version has to use the roger waters voice sample from "Is There Anybody Out There?" from Pink Floyd's 1979 The Wall Album. Love the more raw rocking guitars in this version over the 91 deconstruction release
Same happened to a load of tunes back then; the samples didn't get cleared so they had to re-record them. E.g. Gat Decor 'Passion' bootleg using the Degrees In Motion vocals got re-sung for the commercial release on Way Of Life. Pink Floyd and The Osmonds didn't want any royalty cheques. They were tilled up enough already!
Heard a little bit of this track on the Steve Wright show yesterday so had to trace it so I could hear the full version,sounds amazing,takes me back to the good old days

They've had a few reunions recently but it was the Lee butler era, and I went when davy T was the dj , 91/92 was the best time in my opinion. Best time of my life in there sat nights and the odd Mondays.👍🏻
The sample at the very beginning actually comes from the old cowboy series Gunsmoke With Matt Dillon..... All in all though this has got to be one the best tunes to come out of the 90s. Blinding.

Still sounds great... when dance music had that kind of punk DIY attitude, love the mixing in of rapping, Floyd, ambient sounds, piano,house, that rough funk-punk guitar - all fits seamlessly into a great old-school rave tune ... this IS different & the better version imho... Can still remember hearing this for the first time on an old Eric + Nipper pirated rave cassette & just playing it all day with the volume on max... So much originality in dance music then... anyone know where the rap is sample from?
You dont get to many of these to the pound, rare as hens teeth. My copy is tucked away for safe keeping, this copy was mailed out to djs on the RCA mailing list.
