Using drugs is one thing, lying about using drugs is another. Your little commercial is short on facts for the case you cite. If your client did not lie about their drug use, then there may be a reason to let them maintain their clearance. If they lies, then absolutely NO. It demonstrates untrustworthiness and trust in safeguarding classified is the basis for granting a clearance.

I don’t think it matters. I sent drugs to top secret security clearance holders while they were in Iraq. They all still have jobs.

It’s pretty fucking stupid if you ask me . I did it frequently as a teenager and now I have to give them a exact number 10 years later after not doing it ever since then.
