I spent 12 years at Bethel Church in Redding California where Bill Johnson teaches that not everything that happens is God's will. He teaches that God is in charge but not in control. What a terrifying reality that would be when you think about it
Dr, Baucham, I enjoy listening to your teachings. You touch on the forgotten or avoided subjects. Thank you for taking the stand for nothing but the truth lessons. Your story about your daughter and being a new dad resonated with me more than me. My husband left me for work shortly after we brought our first daughter home. For a few seconds with me alone, it occurred to me that she was with me alone, which terrified me. Looking at my tiny round-faced baby, helpless and alone with me, I cried straight for two hours. Then, I said, Emily! "It is you, me, and God from now on" God, please help me to care for my daughter. Therefore, I understand your experience Dr. Baucham.

I'm thanking g the Lord for this timely video. I really truly needed to be reminded of God's sovereignty. Going through stage one breast cancer and treatments. in the midst of the this chaotic world, can make one very anxious. And at times I feel like I'm being consumed from the inside out. But I remind myself that I know who holds tomorrow and I know that, no matter what happens to me, that God will do the work He needs to do in me and that it will bring Him glory. Thank you for this. I’ve been so distraught seeing all the evil and corruption and suffering amplified. Seeing unbelievers and especially children facing this makes me so sad because they have no hope. This was a huge help. I was reminded God is not only in charge of all, but He loves His children and hasn’t forgotten us. And He hears our prayers for the lost in these very dark days.
Dr. Voddie came to a tiny little church you guys in Texas called Pecan Street Church and he's been there a bunch of times and it amazes me that a Pastor like Himself, with all the fame and fortune he could amass with the gift God has given him, he doesn't misuse his gift, praise God! There are pastors that are literally one micron his preaching ability and they refuse to go to any church and preach that doesn't pay them a small fortune to go. They're teaching is lousy and pathetic and watered down and woke, and we have a pastor like Voddie Baucham who is one of the greatest of all time and he will literally preach in a tiny little church that you know has absolutely no money to give him at all, because He loves Jesus and he loves God's people, the way it should be. Praise God for preachers like Voddie Baucham!!!!. He and the ligonier teaching fellows and Pastor MacArthur have been such an intrical part of my growth in Christ and I cherish our Lord and Savior so much more because of their expository preaching and God pouring out His grace in my life... I don't mean to say that I'm a better Christian because of these men. I mean to say that God has used their ministries so much in my life. So God gets all of the glory but how wonderful it is to see God use these pastors for the benefit of His people.... Ohhhh, What a mighty God we serve!!!!

Recently and currently I’m going through a trial and I’ve asked some of these same questions. I know God is in control, I know He is sovereign, I know He does what is best for His children, but when you have been praying for close to a decade, you cry out mor and more and more, and you just wonder. And it is not a prayer for myself but for someone I love so much. I understand why Jeremiah wept. You have to be a weeping.Jeremiah. I know God is listening but it is truly hard to watch them fight against the gospel. I really need to hear this and it convicted me.
God knows! He has intimate knowledge of us and loves and pities us. He knows what we need and knows what we can handle. He knows when our deliverance will come.
Oh how I LOVE listening to Paster Bauchman and Pastor McArthur! I pray for the unbelievers and those who are not following on the narrow path. To be honest, I didn't have any anxiety when covid happened. I trust in God. Even when I got it in Aug-Sept 2022, I didn't even realize it till I lost my taste buds for 3 weeks. Thought I just had a bad cold or the flu & I do not go to Dr.s. I'm ready & look forward to heaven not matter how it comes. Except I'd rather not it be by beheaded.
Thank God for Voddie and his teaching I'm so blessed I can hear his messages on TH-cam from so far away. Thank you Lord for your servant its so encouraging. Everyone should listen to him he is a very wise man. Praise the Lord for him
