I been watching you since you were in your old kitchen, then I lost you, then found you again! I'm glad I did 🔥 Wonderful another marinate, they're soooooo good!!! Thanks from Minnesota 😊
Ya the oil helps out a lot , but here is another trick - Half an onion and use that as well if you don't have any oil it works just the same really. Also if you happen to find chicken is tearing or sticking chances are it isn'tt ready to be moved yet, just give it a little longer sometimes it can be just a min more but it won't be shredding up stuck.
Great. Here I am in the middle of the day getting all hungry from your cooking and amazing video! J/K, I am constantly amazed by your cooking and description of your techniques. Side note, for me the chicken thigh is the only way to go for any type of marinated chicken. Absorbs the flavor better, plus they are so forgiving to being overcooked, unlike the chicken breast which seems to dry out no matter what (for me).
I was crew chief for a super street team in the 2000's and all we ate was chicken BBQed that was the best time of my life. I was the cook too and head Margarita maker too.
Tried this last night 10/10 and I am no chef and I have no grill so I can’t even imagine what it tastes like with that extra flavor. (I browned both sides on the stovetop and put in in the oven in a cast iron). Easy and tasty and not too heavy. Excellent recipe AB!
Made this today. However, when cooking I put my ZGrill pellet grill at smoke for 30 minutes then bumped up to 375. Used Lumberjack competition blend pellets. Holy hell, this was amazing. You have not disappointed with your recipes yet. Huge fan!
I have been watching you for a long while and i just wanna say thank you for simplifing these recipes and i absolutely cannot wait to try this this weekend!!!
That’s the great thing about dark meat, if you go a little over it’s no big deal. When you’re cooking chicken breast though, it’s crucial to not go over 160 or you gonna end up with dry chicken, it will get to that 165 you want for food safety.
I am going to do this marinade over night, then install the chicken on a charcoal rotisserie. Then brush the left over marinade on as it cooks. I think this will make a very good rotisserie chicken. Thank you for a Great video!!
Maybe avocado oil instead since the smoke point is 500. Olive oil smoke point is 325, so anything above that will just make the oil smoke and it releases toxic compounds. Looks delicious, though, and I'm def trying this recipe! ❤
You do it like I do it. One who knows spices and marinades and heat and meat can effectively grill over a heated argument. My favorite grill was an electric 20 years ago. It smoked like a dragster doing a burnout because the lava rock surrounding the heating element was laden with drippings from previous meals. That "old smoke" made deliciousness and the heat was so easy to control
If you want to step up that game, try fermenting a bunch of garlic cloves in a jar of honey. The garlic will mellow and the honey thins out. It also makes for a great salad dressing. You can also slice a potato in half and rub your grate with it.
Hey AB! New to the channel and I made your honey garlic chicken tonight. I marinated for 48 hours due to weather yesterday. Anyhow, these marinated chicken thighs were FIRE (according to my 3 teenagers). Paired it with roasted fingerling potatoes halved and fresh steamed broccoli. I will definitely be trying more of your recipes out! Thanks from Ohio! 👍
Hey 🆎 I'm in VA and the cold doesn't stop me from lighting the grill. I've done it when snow is falling 😁. Temps have been cold not really freezing accept maybe very early morns...no snow. Getting back to the recipe...been wanting to try this BUT HONEY & GARLIC got me like 🤔. Imma try your recipe. I love that grill 🥰😍
this is so right down with my name on it!! i love honey garlic chicken!! i need to get me a meat thermometer!! i love the funnel cake and oreo video also!! i love watching your creations!!
Aw man, honestly my friend i / our family really love marinating chicken in soy w/ garlic ginger honey lil brown sugar. Thanks 4 the ideas n video. Im gonna cook for my familia tonight thanks from NorCal
That honey garlic got me watching the video and liking 👍...uhmmmm it sounds so yummy and I have all the recipe in my kitchen. I'm going to try it. Thanks!
Wow that looks delicious! I do a version of this in the oven. I haven't gotten into bbqing outside yet. Seeing your backyard and you cooking outside, maybe I should pick it up!
Those look incredibly delicious AB. I find that bone in thighs can take more cooking due to the fat content in them, i like to take mine up to about 180 degrees still juicy and a little more tender. That Recteq is nice.
LOVE it. Now, here I am, in Cleveland Ohio at eight thirty on a Saturday morning ...... ready to go out and fire up my grill. LOL. AB, gorgeous set up you have man. I'm getting there with the Blackstone griddle, the Weber kettle, the Weber gas and the Brinkman smoker. I am missing the pool and the outdoor working area though. I'm on the fence with the pellet grill as I'm not sure if I really need it. Thanks for ANOTHER great instructional food video. I try most of your recipes and they're great.
Looks delish, the only thing I DO NOT recommend is reusing the marinade that the raw chicken was in. That is bad news for cross-contamination that can make you very sick. Make a fresh batch of marinade to use later.
AB it has been a pleasure watching your journey. I loved when you first started & the way you used to say your name. “Smokin & Grillin with me, AB!!” Yesss!! As always the food looks delicious! Can’t wait to grill this weekend. Isn’t the southwest great? ❤ from Phoenix AZ
Your the man AB😋watched a few of your videos now and i have to say your right up there with some of the best content on youtube. Will be trying some honey garlic chicken today even if it is only 13c outside😄✌peace.
Nice one again Sir! Me jealous…you grilling late February because I’m here in beautiful Nova Scotia but north of the 49th. I am going to try this recipe. Less is more. Like that grill as well but doubt it’s available up here. All the Best to you.
Bomb, I like them burnt ones! LA style. Great content my man. Your content helps with my cooking game and I'm pretty good at it from what I hear. Stay blessed.
Good for you AB! Been following you for years and enjoying quite a few of your recipes. You started off in that tiny little kitchen and now look at you livin the life in your nice spread with a pool. Livin' the American Dream baby! Gonna try this Honey Garlic Chicken too. Got a new Ninja Woodfire Grill and man, does the smoke flavor add a nice touch. mmmmm

Honey garlic chicken looks absolutely delicious!😋
I love that idea rubbing oil on the grill before putting the chicken on there
O

💯👍👌
I live in Minnesota and it’s been -15 outside and that still doesn’t stop my husband from smoking chicken wings and cedar plank salmon lol

Wow that looks delicious! I do a version of this in the oven. I haven't gotten into bbqing outside yet. Seeing your backyard and you cooking outside, maybe I should pick it up!
I was curious as to whether or not you're contaminating the chicken by brushing it with the marinade that the raw chicken sat in??
Hey AB.. I hope this day is treating you well. Always good eats over here. Never fails. Enjoy!! 🐞🤗🌹
A.B......! After all your wonderful video's & recipes! This could be my favorite......!😋🤤 OMGOSH......! IT'S 🔥!

AB.. Thoughts on cooking this on Blackstone? You think the honey will burn to much?
LOVE it. Now, here I am, in Cleveland Ohio at eight thirty on a Saturday morning ...... ready to go out and fire up my grill. LOL. AB, gorgeous set up you have man. Where can I find that bag holder you use to put your chicken in to marinate?
Supermarket
Or Targer/Walmart type places.
