@duzk7588 This video is great your just picking at the smallest thing. Your being a childish troll over someone hardworking and original, interesting content and I bet you couldn't do any better
Jules will always be my favorite story to listen to, but I love Grover and Bouncer's brotherly bond in this one. It's hard facing the horde of undead on your own, it's even harder to face with a friend by your side. The fear of loss and being alone in a zombie apocalypse is why I worried a lot for our bikers boys, but I'm glad they got a good ending. I hope Bouncer learned well from Grover and lives for as long as he can out there.
I definitely think that's the underlying "message" or "theme" of this season. Grover's mentality shifted rather drastically once he hooked up with Bouncer since he now had something to lose besides his own life. That can rattle even the strongest willed individuals.
Well it hasn't been out long, but there's also the core audience that have been following the series episode by episode, so it'll have it's time eventually. :P

Though his story does cover a far shorter period of time in-game, you probably get to "know" him more since he's constantly engaged in dialogue once he hooks up with Bouncer. Anyway, I'm always happy when my characters hit the right note, no matter how long they're around for. Grover was most definitely a fun perspective to play around with for awhile, and I'm happy to add him to the growing roster on the channel. :)
Well I certainly hope you enjoyed it all the way through (if you've made it that far yet). I always enjoy hearing people's thoughts on the various seasons early on and after they've finished the journey, since the characters often change in some major way by the end.
That's precisely what I like to hear! :) Inspiring people to get back into the game that can spawn such interesting stories is always a win in my book.
This is the best type of zombie show, imo. The way it's told in the 3rd person feels more engaging than the 1st person pov we usually get. To me, at least. It's like watching a documentary, almost.
The 3rd season was incredibly interesting in its presentation, since once Grover meets Bouncer, a lot of the emotion and actions are covered in dialogue instead of narration. It also pushes journals into the background, so you're pulled more into the dynamic of the two characters. The other seasons are much more focused on solo survivors and their struggles, which is a very different feel and ends up shifting how the story itself is presented and plays out.
The State of Decay music was a nice touch, always thought that Zomboid and SoD had unique zombie apocalypse ost's. You a man of taste and talent in equal measure my friend. Great work with the video!
A fair amount of "Zombie Media" has a certain through line when it comes to their music, which certainly helps in providing a bit of variety for these various stories. Days Gone was another one that was featured heavily in Grover's journey.
This is the first video I've seen by you and definitely not the last. I must say I'm really impressed by the details of this story. It's easy to see a lot of work has been put into it. Also, I just loved the way you "hit" to the beats. What a great detail.
🔥 Devs should hire you to write a game mode called "Survivor Stories", where it's exactly like this. But for the game mode it's somewhat pre-determined with some story altering/end chanaging decisions and events. But you can play with an NPC or play with a friend for some of them. They could have a few solo stories, few duo, and a big group online story. All they would have to do is literally give you missions to progress each story until the end. That would be so fire and that alone would add so much content to this game without players having to make their own stories/goals EVERY play through. But Zomboid is faaaarrrrrr from anything like that. If they was smart they'd hire some more of these super talented modders imo. I know im ambitious lol Anyway very nice job story telling, voice acting, everything. Super entertaining and I look forward to more movies from you man🙏🏾
I most definitely appreciate the praise, and the recommendation. :P Indie Stone has been actively hiring modders for awhile now and it feels like they're more in touch with their community than most other developers. I don't know if they'll ever implement something like you suggested since I believe they value the "openness" of having the player dictate their story and navigating the world, but the great thing about this game is that it's always open to modders to add those in if there's a big enough desire for it. It's easy to overlook the great game we have at the moment with all the interesting stuff that might be down the road.
Grover was awesome man been with you since early Jamie videos and it is awesome to see how the story's have continued to improve cant wait to see what you come up with next
It's always awesome to hear from people who have been around for awhile and still enjoy the series as it develops. Hopefully it continues to improve with each season, but I do have *some* limitations. :P
Always happy to provide, and I'm glad the new dynamic for this season seemed to land well with basically everyone. Was a little hesitant that the heavy dialogue wouldn't transfer well with the Zomboid medium.
I wasn't expecting the ending, but it was very sweet and well wrapped up. The inclusion of another character being around and in person was a really good touch, and I hope to see some more like that. Your unscripted stories are always a delight to watch. Thank you so much for putting the work and passion into this. Looking forward to watching much more!
I'm glad the ending is as well received as it is. I worried quite a bit about it feeling jarring for viewers, but like most things as time went on, I felt better about it overall. When it comes to having other survivors in the series for the future, I'm a bit hesitant at the moment. It really was a logistical nightmare behind the scenes, and while it's a great way to add another layer of character to the story, it slows down the creative process to a crawl. :P Anyway, really am happy to hear that you enjoyed it, and look forward to bringing you more stories in the future!
I don't want *every* season to have one cameo or another, since I do want the stories to feel natural and not fall victim to the marvel universe plague. :P There's nothing saying we won't see any of those characters in future projects, they just didn't fit in this one.
This is literally most perfect Zomboid video i ever seen. Story telling, gameplay, music, camera without ui, voice acting... Damn, this is master piece, i am so excited. And story itself take my heart. Thank you man for your great work. ❤
I love pretty much everything about this. Gillz is a classic noir anti-hero. (I imagine that he first got his nickname at 17 from a typo in boot camp.) Your editing skills with sly musical choices and rhythmic timing, make the extended gameplay scenes a pleasure to watch. The narrated journal was also a very smart move.
Gills was definitely quite the character, and I'm glad that I was able to bring him to life without making a fool of myself. :P As far as the style, that's simply come from a lot of trial and error, along with a fair amount of "screw it, that sounds good enough". Though I'm happy the end result is something that people can appreciate and enjoy. :)
I'm not much of a zomboid player myself but watching these videos makes me really wanna play it again and give it a go, this video is easily the best one I've seen it had me hooked from minute 1 and kept me hooked until the very end so thank you for sharing this with us all you sir are awesome!
Always glad to hear that I've steered someone back towards the game! While I recognize it's not for everyone, it truly is a unique and amazing experience that I feel like most give up on too easily. Hopefully you can craft some stories that stick with you, and I'm very glad you enjoyed this one. :)
Damn this was amazing, especially the two biker boys story, finished 4 hours worth of this amazing story... i hope you continue this story, what happens to bouncer after grover passes away... Like a quest searching for survivor, a home or establishing his own safe haven for people as a promise to grover
Found you from your "What You're Missing" video and it made a lot of sense. I'm going back to your first random run to watch them all in order. Thank you for your hard work to entertain us nerds! ;)
It's honestly an honor to be able to make this series for you all. I never expected it to get a following like this, and I'm endlessly grateful that there are like-minded nerds out there. :P
Naw, thank YOU, my man. Everyone who enjoys the videos, whether they watch every week or stop by once a month or so, is what makes the channel and the stories what they are. You all are what I do this for. :)
I finished this almost immediately after it came out sorry I am just now commenting. This was fantastic. The writing for this was exceptionally well done and the plot and story that you took the two characters on was perfect. The old and disgruntled biker with the young buck thinking he can handle it all was such a fantastic dynamic. As always man I love your content and always look forward to the next one!!!!! Keep it up!!!!
It certainly was a fun dynamic to play around with, and as much of a pain in the ass as it was to put together a script for each episode, I do really enjoy the quips they have back and forth with each other. I don't know if I'll ever do a duo season again, but I am glad that I gave it a go and this ended up being the result. Really do appreciate you looking forward to whatever shenanigans I cook up, and I only hope that they live up to what's come before. :)
Considering the length of the video I wasn't expecting Grover to get a happy ending but its good to see they did. I particularly loved the dynamic between Gills and Bouncer and how tense the checkpoint was, using meta events to tell the story was a really clever idea, and the constant gunshot events made it sound like the soldier was closing in on them, I was expecting someone to get shot and a gunfight but that tension never got released until the ending which was something I really enjoyed. Looking forward to the next one!
I could have certainly dragged on Grover's story for longer, but for multiple reasons I think this was the best way to end his particular story. I did fear that most people would react negatively to the soldier threat not being dealt with, but I do enjoy the realistic tilt to that beat where not everything gets wrapped up in a pretty little bow, especially in a scenario such as this one. Very glad you enjoyed the story, and I look forward to bringing even more for you to watch. :)
I’m blown away at the consistent level of quality from this channel, I’ll definitely be staying tuned in for whatever comes next from you guys! Keep up the great work, it’s only a matter of time before content like this blows up!
This was better than most of the stuff I've ever watched on streaming TV. Such an engrossing story, great characters and some the best roleplay I've seen. So glad I stumbled upon this channel and wishing I found it earlier. Amazing work.
Just finished Jules’ story the other day and finally finished this one. Three amazing stories in a row has earned a subscription from me! Can’t wait to see more!
It's crazy to realize how large of a catalogue I've crafted at this point. :P Watching through the Jules story alone is quite the feet... I am glad you've enjoyed them all, and as we forge ahead into Season 4, I hope you enjoy it as well. :)
Without a doubt the best PZ series I've watched on here, and I've watched a lot! The amount of effort, creativity and atmosphere you put into these videos is amazing, thank you for the 4 hours of quality entertainment.
I still remember putting that scene together and having to "sit" with it for awhile. It's a rather understated moment, but it gets your brain churning about all the unaddressed horrors that have taken place in this world/story.
Been playing this in the background all day. What a nice way to gear up for whatever comes next! I'll miss Grover and Bouncer, obviously, but maybe we'll see them again someday. And, after all, this was a really great sendoff. Goals completed, closure achieved, and contentment with the road that lies ahead. You really can't ask for more than that! As for the remaining unanswered questions, I think of them as ongoing story threads. They're not missed or abandoned opportunities -- they're the door remaining open. Perhaps we'll come knocking eventually; perhaps not. But I can't wait to see which it is, either way! To Grover, Bouncer, and our unknown sniper, I say: until we meet again!
Wonderfully written and beautifully executed piece of art, only qualm I have about it is the repeating phrase of “I’m old and hurting” I found myself saying “yeah we get you’re old and hurting” a few times throughout the watch but loved it!!!!
its been a while since i watched your content, im glad i could see the rest of what Grover went through, and to see that extra buddy tag along with em, this feel different from the others from that feeling of losing more then your own life, but someone elses, i really love this (im probably just saying the same stuff as the next guy, but i really love this content, i know its been 5 months and you probably wont see this, but if you do i hope you have a great day)
There's a quote from Marvin Yagoda that perfectly fits this series. "I think it's better when you don't plan things... because you get too disappointed in things. But, I- this wasn't planned, it just grew. Started one little machine, then two, and five, and six, and... Only thing I'd probably do is like to have a bigger place to display more things, not get rid of 'em."
I only just came across this but dam that was amazing! sat and watched the hole thing didn't want it to end! great story line and bravo for the effort amazing work man!
I’m not done watching this yet, I’m about halfway through, but I have to comment on how well this story is written. Legitimately better than a lot of TV shows and movies.
This is great. Good story, solid mix between improve and RNG. My OCD highly appreciated you editing so your strikes hit on beat with the music selection lol.
I just found this channel / video about 5 hours ago . should've slept instead, but I ended up going through the whole thing. Now, it's 5:30 in the morning. I go to work in 2 hours. but it was worth it.
Well i had an itch for some pz storytime and i cant believe i found this gem. Really well done sir, enjoyed every little bit of it and now i am going to see for myself what else you have stashed away on your channel. Thanks a ton for this experience!
Glad you stumbled upon it and enjoyed it! My viewers often argue which season is the best, and it's usually a pretty tight race, so if you enjoyed this one then I imagine the others will be to your liking. Season One and Two are loosely connected, so if you do watch them I'd recommend hitting up One first. :)
Another fantasic video, the intro was so good! Seeing from his perspective the beginning lore of the game was very well choreographed. Story and narration, again, was impeccable. Looking forward to your next stories!
These videos are severely underrated and under liked. This is amazing. Such great work went into making and editing this. Great job, and keep it up! This series is amazing!
This is incredible!!! You're a very talented writer. The dialogue especially was very good! Props to the voice actors as well, they did a terrific job!
Don't know if I can agree with the "greatest" claim, but I certainly am happy you've enjoyed them all! Hopefully I can keep outdoing myself as we charge forward. :)
I was hesitant to watch a 4 hour video but I’m so glad I stuck around for Gill’s story. You are a talented story teller! Now I have to go watch your other work.
Yeah, I can imagine being tentative about my story's lengths, but they really are just the culminations of the character's journey and where they end up. Season Two is a mountain to tackle, but most people mark it down as their favorite one once they get through it.
Very much appreciate the praise! This season was a bit of a logistical nightmare at every level, so having the editing appreciated certainly is welcome. XD
1:58:30 I think its cool how he makes an intermission of what his office looks like when he asks for us to subscribe, its unique and i like it. me two seconds later: IS THAT A HOTTIEZ MAGAZINE?! (back left corner under the window)
Thought it was a bit more thematic than just slapping my mug up on the screen. :P Glad it didn't go unappreciated, and as for the contents of that magazine.... The world may never know. 🤔
Awesome Video. I started playing Projekt Zomboid this Month. And i loved every Minute of the Video. The ingame Days that pass till a Job is done, because there are to many obstacle, the constant worry over Food and a save place to sleep when your not have set up a Mainbase and of cause the Zombies. Nicely shown in your Movie with cool Charakters and the Brotherhood these two form over Time. And yes i was worried that the ´scratch´ may be fatal. It was nice to see the ´6 Month later´ thing. So we know, okey they are all right and Bouncer still kills Grovers nerves. Cool Job. Really.
Glad you enjoyed it, and happy to hear we have another fresh face in the community! The game is truly a unique experience and it's always awesome to hear more people taking a crack at it. :)

This is an absolute pleasure to watch. You edited and narrated this flawlessly. They really need to implement sitting and laying on a bed as standard it makes it way more imersive. Im holding off playing until they release the next update. But watching this is really tempting me 😅😅
There are a ton of minor things like that, that I do wish the Devs would implement, but at least they're incredibly supportive of the modding community which cater to those small changes with a PASSION. :P The main thing I'm looking forward to with B42 is the optimization. While the content they're adding will be welcome, I've learned that PZ is a bit of a hobbled mess in terms of it's structure. XD
I think you could make a really good story with the 10 years later mod, how creative you could go with it, would be amazing. As always keep up the great work!
That is most certainly on the list, but the list is getting LONG. :P Eventually we'll get around to a scenario like that, but there's still a few concepts I want to play out before we get there.
Thank you for this. You put a ton of effort into this. I love this game to much too. I typically don't like top down isometric games or whatever but this hit home for me
Just found this video today and have to say is one of the best project zomboid videos i have seen. It was so very much like listening to an audiobook/ watching a movie. Will be looking for more videos like this to watch. Thank you for the amazing/hardwork you put into these.
I'm more than pleased with the attention the series has gathered so far. When I started posting these I never imagined any of the videos getting more than a couple hundred views. :P
Well hopefully the rest of the video lived up to the first few minutes, but I certainly appreciate the kind words and definitely plan on keeping this going! :)

Can't ask for a better response than that! While PZ is just a game, it is a pretty damn good medium to tell some interesting stories and dig into the mindset of desperate people and their fight for survival. I really am just glad that you all enjoy my weird concoctions, and hope to keep that train going for as long as I can. :)
I have fell asleep to this video every night for a week before I finished it! love the content, goanna go watch some more of your clips. Love the supercuts!
I love binging your content! I wish there was a way i could support you more because i just cant watch your stories week to week. Its a shame that this one is only 4 hours instead of 9 but ill still enjoy it the same. Cant wait until the next story! Ill edit in my reaction once i finish this over the next few days.
Hey, however you like to consume the content is fine by me. I'm just happy people are interested in the strange projects I cook up. :) Hope you enjoy it!
Okay, so I'm at an impasse, I want more of these like ALL the time, but I know quality will dip. You take your time, and it definitely shows. These are some of my favorite series to watch on YT. Keep it up!!

Like a quest searching for survivor, a home or establishing his own safe haven for people as a promise to grover
Criminally underrated bit of viewing here guys. Awesome content, can feel the effort and care. Don't stop dude
I most certainly don't plan on stopping anytime soon, and I really appreciate the kind words! :)
This is better than most movies. I love the head-smashing to the tune of the music by the way. **Chef kiss**
@@twowheeledgaming that video was so validating because none of my friends really enjoy role-playing in games at all
It's been a while since I've tuned in, but thank you, man. I really love your content and enjoy what you do. Hope you're well.
I honestly fell asleep to this video a dozen times before finishing I found what you did with the audio and narration so relaxing, true zomboid asmr
Never know if I should take that as a compliment or not, but I do have a fair few creators I enjoy falling asleep to, so I get it. :P
@twowheeledgaming In your defence I listen to it at 3am after a shift haha but love every bit that I'm awake for
That was one hell of an opening. Well done!
It is certainly my favorite intro to a series so far.
by far one the best narrative playthroughs ive seen, keep up the good work man, your showing just what people could do with a game this good
Without a doubt the best PZ series I've watched on here, and I've watched a lot!
The amount of effort, creativity and atmosphere you put into these videos is amazing, thank you for the 4 hours of quality entertainment.
Incredibly glad I could keep you entertained! Never hurts to see the months of effort these saga videos take appreciated, so thank you for that. :)
Man the score while Gills is looking at that artwork on the wall by the kids hit so much harder than I expected
Can’t wait to chip away at this over the next few days, always look forward to these stories!!
Glad you're pacing yourself with it. I get concerned for a few people who watch it in one sitting. xD
its been a while since i watched your content, im glad i could see the rest of what Grover went through, and to see that extra buddy tag along with em, this feel different from the others from that feeling of losing more then your own life, but someone elses, i really love this (im probably just saying the same stuff as the next guy, but i really love this content, i know its been 5 months and you probably wont see this, but if you do i hope you have a great day)
Nice! Another new series! This is the first channel Ive ever been tempted to join/donate to. Thanks for all the hard work!
Well you most certainly don't have to do such a thing. Just watching the series and enjoying them is more than enough for me. :)
These are the videos thst get me itching to play PZ again, roleplay or not. Thankd for the new playthrough inspiration
Always happy to hear it, and hope you end up crafting some stories of your own that you enjoy. :)
The head squishing sound going to the beat of the music was absolutely beautiful!
A bag of chips + this video = a good time
I'd be impressed if that bag of chips lasts 4 hours. :P
It hardly lasted 20 mins sadly.
Good thing I got my drink 😁
@@twowheeledgamingcorrect me if I'm wrong but isn't the start of the video the actual project zomboid lore
@@ALKUN87So if I were to watch it again I need 12 bags to last the whole video
You must chew very slowly
This is such an amazing story and so well edited! I love how you made him smacking zombies to the beat of the music. So awesome!
This appeared in my feed randomly, what an absolute gem of a find! Stellar work!
This is incredible!!! You're a very talented writer. The dialogue especially was very good! Props to the voice actors as well, they did a terrific job!
Greatest series/channel on yt I’ve watched all 3 seasons multiple times amazing.
Don't know if I can agree with the "greatest" claim, but I certainly am happy you've enjoyed them all! Hopefully I can keep outdoing myself as we charge forward. :)
Love the pacing of gameplay + narration. Keep up the awesome work.
I most certainly will! :)
Enthralling and beautiful. The ending was bittersweet and just about perfect. You have a true gift for storytelling, TWG.
Honestly one of the best PZ stories I’ve seen. Well done man!! From a video editor to video editor this was absolutely incredible
Glad it didn't go unappreciated, and as for the contents of that magazine....
I'm just slowly getting through this. Loving the story telling and sadistically enjoying the smashing heads to the music haha.
What an incredibly well done story. Can't wait to see what else you've uploaded.
Dang this was good…like holy shit this was good! Really well done! I loved the commentary, the music, the editing, the story and pretty much everything about this. I’m desperately looking forward to the next one!
Glad to hear it, and really do appreciate the kind words. :)
There are two other seasons done in the same style if you're interested, and the fourth season is being slowly worked on at the moment. Maybe I'll get slightly further in it before you catch up. :P
@@twowheeledgaming Absolutely! I’ll watch those as well. Definitely looking forward to the 4th season. One day I hope to edit my stuff this well lol Just brilliant, PZ is such a good game for story telling it’s insane.
3:10:52 when I heard that low whistle I thought "wait a minute... no... they didn't...they did not!... THEY DID!!!". seriously though I love your stories, I'd say even better than some of the big movies I've watched recently.
Sometimes a bit of cowboy is called for with these stories. :P
Really am glad to hear you're enjoying the style, and I'm very much looking forward to putting out more and more seasons as long as you all want them. :)
i’m only 30 minutes in so far but the editing of the kills to the game music is incredible. i’m enjoying the storytelling as well!
That's a detail that a lot of people enjoy, so don't imagine it's going anywhere anytime soon. :P
Now that I’ve finally finished the whole thing, I can honestly say, you and everyone involved did a mighty fine job making this ^^ well done!
The algorithm blessed me with this video today. Can’t wait to watch the other characters you have. Great stuff man. I appreciate the effort.
I love this, this is so goooodd!!
Especially the editing and dialogues ^^
Glad to hear it, since both those aspects of the series took a fair amount of time. :P
The main thing I'm looking forward to with B42 is the optimization. While the content they're adding will be welcome, I've learned that PZ is a bit of a hobbled mess in terms of it's structure. XD
I just love this kind of zomboid story where a narrative is built (and a bit of RP). Liked and subbed as soon as I could
I think you could make a really good story with the 10 years later mod, how creative you could go with it, would be amazing. As always keep up the great work!
That is most certainly on the list, but the list is getting LONG. :P
Eventually we'll get around to a scenario like that, but there's still a few concepts I want to play out before we get there.
This dude just made a fire ass movie 💀💀💀 so underrated
Don't know if I can claim to be underrated when you all are so kind and supportive. XD
Really enjoy these character series! Great job! Made me buy the game
That's awesome to hear! This game is truly something else, and I'm delighted to know I've got one more person to give it a go. :)
Thank you for this. You put a ton of effort into this. I love this game to much too. I typically don't like top down isometric games or whatever but this hit home for me
I’m really loving that the kills are timed with the music. Thank you.
I stumbled upon this, holy moly the voice acting and character depth is so good, great stuff!
Just found this video today and have to say is one of the best project zomboid videos i have seen. It was so very much like listening to an audiobook/ watching a movie. Will be looking for more videos like this to watch. Thank you for the amazing/hardwork you put into these.
This deserves way more love
I'm more than pleased with the attention the series has gathered so far. When I started posting these I never imagined any of the videos getting more than a couple hundred views. :P
I have truly enjoyed this type of narrative story play. Keep up the good work.
I most certainly will! Glad you're enjoying them. :)
you make great stuff lad, never stop putting these stories to paper.
As long as you all enjoy them and I'm still breathing, they'll keep coming.
Havent watched the whole video, but after seeing first couple minutes. You deserve way more subs than what you have rn. Keep up the good work !
Well hopefully the rest of the video lived up to the first few minutes, but I certainly appreciate the kind words and definitely plan on keeping this going! :)
I just found your channel and this is the first video I’ve seen and it is the best movie I’ve seen in a while keep doing this amazing work
Glad you stumbled across it and hope you enjoy the others just as much! :)
probably my favorite narrative zomboid video yet. excellent work.
What a damn masterpiece. You oughta write a book one day I bet it'd be a hell of a read. Going through some rough times right now - thanks for giving me a great four hours!
Godda say, one hell of a story! Had me fully invested in this. Glad you ended it like you did. Kept the hope alive they are still out there.
This is lunacy! Nice job brother!
:') Wow.... truly incedible. You brought up real emotion in me. Thank you for your hard work. This changed my view on this game. What a game what a story. I love Gills.... i did not know what was gonna happen but the ending was incredible. :')
This is the first time I watch a full 4 hours long Project Zomboid's video and I loved every second of it.
I have fell asleep to this video every night for a week before I finished it! love the content, goanna go watch some more of your clips. Love the supercuts!
Such a high quality production we get. Thank you. I was hooked for 4 hours straight
Hope you enjoy it!
Okay, so I'm at an impasse, I want more of these like ALL the time, but I know quality will dip.
You take your time, and it definitely shows. These are some of my favorite series to watch on YT. Keep it up!!
This is really good Mr moon type production keep this content up the writing is super creative, relatable and I love it.
This was truely amazing. Better than most Netflix movies.
Can't wait to watch S1+2 next. Keep up, man, I will watch any PZ story you have to tell.
great pacing dude! love your work
