We sailed on the Enchanted last month for a 14 day Barcelona to Athens cruise. Of all the Princess ships that we've sailed on, it is my absolute favourite. Very spacious and love the updated decor. We had an aft balcony stateroom which had the larger balcony and it was amazing. Definitely would choose this ship again!
Hi Halee, if I understood you correctly, you mentioned that Princess did not have a suite program that offered private dining on the Enchanted Princess. My wife and I book mini suite (Club Class) and now called Reserve Collection rooms which are Category M1 (mid ship locations). Royal one time, Enchanted twice and we are heading to Mexico on the Discovery Princess in October 2024. On the Royal, we booked a standard Mini suite and had our meals in the main dining rooms with probably eight or so people at each table. On both Enchanted trips and the upcoming Discovery ship, we booked the Premium Mini-Suite option. One of the perks with the Premium Mini-Suites, is a private dining area that the full suite customers use as well. You can choose to sit with others or at a table of two as we do. On Enchanted, the private dining area was located in the Capri, to the immediate right corner side of the restaurant. When we approached the Capri main dining room door, our Medalion must have sent a signal to the hostess which identified us as Premium Mini-Suite customers. So the hostess would walk down the relatively short line of people waiting for the main dining room and immediately lead us directly to the private area with no waiting, ever. In the suite dining area, my wife and I had our own waiter and (he or she) had an assistant waiter as well. The level of professionalism, quality of food and dining experience in the suite section of the Capri was extraordinary by any measure. A few examples being, when the line for the regular dining area was sufficiently short or zero, the hostess would stop by our table to see how we were doing and if we had everything we needed. Another example is, I asked my waited if they had draft beer at the bar in in the Capri restaurant. The waiter said he didn't think so, but he would certainly check. About five or six minutes later, he arrived with an ice-cold draft beer with a huge smile on his face. I thanked him and mentioned I was happy that the Capri restaurant did have draft beer after all. He smiled again and said, "I am sorry Mr. Mark, they do not have draft beer, so I went up to the pool deck and grabbed one for you". Before I could say thank you, he said, "Mr. Mark, anytime you would like a draft beer, just let me know and I will happily take care of that for you". An yet another example was, my wife had not been feeling well so she missed a few days' worth of meals. The hostess, our waiter and his assistant all asked if Mrs Kathy (my lovely wife) was OK because she had not joined me in the Capri for those recent days. I mentioned that she had a mild cold and was doing her best to get well and be considerate of other customers wellness. Just as I finished my breakfast, my waited brought a special covered plate of what my wife always ordered for breakfast and asked my to give it to her and wish her a speedy recovery. This is the kind of genuine, thoughtful and professionalism that keeps us booking cruising on Princess (In Premium Mini-Suite's). Anyway, I hope this was helpful. I love this feedback. When I was referencing suite here, I was comparing to the Retreat on the Celebrity Apex. We are really loving Princess. We are on discovery next year! Hope you are booking with your platinum amex for extra obc too!

Thanks for the review! We are going on Enchanted next month on a 10 day Caribbean cruise. We booked a Premium Deluxe Balcony on the aft which has a larger balcony. The balconies are narrower for sure on most of the ship compared to other cruise lines. We got the Premier as well for our first cruise with them. Normally we don't get drink packages on other cruise lines as we don't drink enough to warrant them. The extras with Plus and Premium though make them more enticing. We like that we can share some stuff with our kids without being charged extra.
We cruised for the first time last year. It was on an older Princess ship, the Carribean Princess. We absolutely love it and have 2 more Princess cruises this year.
Waited for food (in your room) for 2 hrs.???? surely you must be joking!?!?!?! I would NEVER wait 15 min, let alone 2hrs. for something you can readily get outside your door! "people are different"
