Just realized that I actually managed to screw up the edit ^^. About 3 minutes of the 66 killstreak are missing. Probably not worth the re-uploading tho
@SlenderKS If you play on a HC first person only server you can move around more freely as there is no third person peeking from behind a wall/corner/window. What server do you usually play on?
I never understood infantry, maybe I’m not patient enough, or just bad at it, but it seems whenever I run a little I get killed, and if I camp too much I see one player every 20 minutes. 200 kills seems godlike for me, hell, even over 40 for me is beyond crazy.
Thanks :). Finding the right speed is crucial. If you play too fast you will die to campers, and if you play too slow you won't get any kills (or not as many). In my opinion it is therefore important to play the round from the beginning to get this sense asap. And you have to adjust to every round.
Positioning is also important. Generally, if you make less obvious approaches you can't be seen so fast. For example, approach from behind the enemy's own lines or the sides rather than yours which they expect you to come from.
Hey, love the video you are insane. I gotta ask about your sensitivity, mine feels very slow and like mouse smoothing is on. Yours looks very precise just curios if you have any tips to help with this. I have a fair bit of time played but can say it has never felt as good as your gameplay looks
Thanks! Yes, sure. I use a fairly fast sensitivity. But that's more of a personal preference. To give you an idea, for a 360° I need about 22 cm. But there are a couple things you can check. Go to your "Arma3.cfg" and check/change these settings: GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; ppRotBlur=0; ppRadialBlur=0; ppDOF=0; (These settings can improve the perception of mouse inputs but have nothing to do with the inputs directly) Then go to your *.Arma3Profile file and make sure "mouseSmoothing" (and maybe "headBob") is set to "0". Overall, try to reduce system latency. There are some guides on how to do this. You can check your latency using a tool called "LatencyMon". Additionally, this smoothing/rubber band effect you're talking about can happen if your system is under heavy load or a component is causing a bottleneck and slowing down your system. To make sure that's not happening, try RTSS to monitor your GPU and cores usage while gaming. You can see it in my video at the top left. I hope this helps. Good luck
@@RAYB4M Hey, thank you so much for the information. I will try and mess about with these. I was looking through the other comments and seen some other tips and already made a massive difference. Made the game way more fun
@@TheCaljean Hey, you can find infos about my (lowspec) setup here: www.twitch.tv/rayb4m/about . Arma settings are basically on low with only the texture on high. For good arma performance you need a high single core speed. Therefore overclocking the cpu is the most effective way to gain performance. Or you can invest in a system with one of the amd x3d cpus. They also perform very well with arma.
Why is the Lynx discouraged in the description? It is truly a gun that uses skill to use since u have to one shot people and dont have any ammo compared to LMGs.
@@MolonLabe-ftw6 Because in the vast majority of cases the kills are not real due to the game mechanics and the broken weapon stats (i.e. 60 damage). Most of the time it goes like this: The helicopter flies by and you fire a single bullet and it hits the helicopter... no matter where, but it still remains flyable. Now if the pilot messes up the landing, you get all the kills (full helicopter means 8) even if none of the passengers were actually hit. In my opinion, these are not real kills. For me a real kill is when you shoot someone and he dies. But that happens very rarely with the Lynx and if it does, it's not hard to hit someone due to the damage and speed of the bullet. I'm not saying LMG is extremely hard to use, but I at least make every single kill.

@bretonpeck1930 You need a single core clock speed of 4.8 GHz or more to get good Arma performance. A good GPU certainly helps, but not to the extent it does for other games. hmm...there's no easy answer to that. There is no setting that will magically give you 100+ fps. It's more of a combination of several things. Fast CPU (or modern one like 7950X3D), an ok'ish GPU, fast M2 SSD and fast RAM. The most important thought is the CPU single core speed. Therefore, overclocking is the easiest way to achieve more FPS. Additionally, you can try a custom memory allocator that alone can give you 10fps more.
