I have a few of these hooks but have only used the H in a project. I also have small hands and have difficulty with the furls odyssey and streamlines due to their size but had less trouble with the prym hook despite the length. I splurged and ordered a furls alpha when I noticed it is closer in size ro my clover amor hooks, which are my absolute favorite, and fell in love with it. The alpha is amazing. But I want to get some of the candy shop hooks since the seem closer to the alpha in size but less expensive. Every time I have looked they have been out of stock though.
Candy Shops are my favorite! I think they are working on stock issues so keep checking. I dont have an Alpha or clover to compare but they are perfect for my small hands. I measured and it's about 5.5" long.
I have large hands, but I also have arthritis issues. Lightweight is good, drag of plastic can be dealt with in a pinch with the right grit sandpaper. Just do not sand too long…
I find these hooks far too long and the plastic causes more drag on the yarn. I gave mine to a male work colleague who loved the pointed head on it and enjoyed using the hook. I will stick to my tulip hooks.
I agree it is problematic with missing hooks!

I was given two of these hooks in 3mm and 3.5mm which I use a lot, but some yarns I can’t use with them it drags, so I don’t use them as much

I felt the same way, the grip was really nice, but the extra friction from the plastic finish was really messing me up.
