I am an American, but I worked with a Ukrainian. We called him Bo, because his full name was hard to pronounce. I was impressed by his attitude and work ethic, as well as him being a good person. That got me interested in finding out about the Ukraine and the people who lived there. I also am tired of American becasue of their entitled attitude and selfishness. They are too demanding, domineering and want to "eat their cake and have it too." The better I understood them, the less I liked about them. For an American I have really old fashioned family values, but couldn't find a woman who was like me. I have a acquaintance who married a Ukrainian woman and she is a real jewel of a person.

Hello, my name is Oliver. I am custudial worker who cleans offices and bathrooms. In 2000 I was living in a rooming house and one of the new people that moved in was Ukranian. We lived at that address with at least two other people for about two years. In that time frame I asked about his life back in Ukraine and also met people that moved in the house from Kazakhstan. One time he and the Kazakhstan residents baked and shared a piece of delicious homemade bread.
I'm not Ukrainian but I am Belarusian and we have some things similar. I have never been to Belarus but I want to go soon! I wonder what it is like to visit or live there but it's hard to find videos or information like that. Have you ever been to Belarus? I know it's not about Ukraine, but if you could make a video about it it would be so awesome :)

My wife and I had just come back to our home in the United States from a vacation trip to Puerto Rico. A friend of mine had become involved with an organization in the United States which provided vacation opportunities for Ukrainian orphans and hosting opportunities for U.S. families. I got to meet some of the children and talked with the program directors about adopting a child from Ukraine. In 2009, my wife and I traveled to Ukraine and Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Ochakiv. There, we met and completed the adoption of our son. I loved visiting and living in Ukraine for one month. Since, I have been learning more about Ukraine.

Yes, I understand it perfectly, I just can't speak it as well as I used to. My Father if I remember correctly was from the Eastern area, he passed away in 1989, so I have no one to further ask any more questions. His family is all gone as far as I know. He left home when he was 16 and never returned or had contact with any family members. All that I ever knew or will know is lost with his passing. Petro

Was in Ukraine twice. The second time was to meet and eventually marry my girl from a small village in the east. No one I knew ,was aware of where Ukraine was before I went. All I can say is that Ukraine in sleeping giant for tourism.!!!!! You want historical giant castles? beautiful country side? historical villages? Amazing food? thousands of miles of rivers and lakes? It's the place to be! At this moment there are very few people who speak fluent English and that is something I liked. Kiev and Liviv are the exception. Everything is in Ukrainian or Russian , depending on where you travel. We hope to go back in 2016

I was visiting Kyiv as part of the USSR in August 1991 when the coup against Gorbachev happened. It was an exciting time. It was also a very difficult time economically for Ukrainians and I will always remember how kind, generous and caring the people I met were, even in the face of big difficulties. I love the videos. I have always been fascinated with the history of WW1 and WW2 and especially in Ukraine and Eastern Europe and Russia. We here in the states rarely got to see what was behind the iron curtain when I was growing up and it always made me wonder. The more I have studied about it, the more interested I become. It is always nice to hear about the average person in these countries. I have met some people from Serbia, Armenia, Ukraine, Russia and Romania in my job and heard their stories and it seems like a great place to come and visit some day
You are doing a fantastic job for making people interested in Ukraine and giving people information how it really is there :) I love the attitude of Slavic and easter European people in general and I have been to Russia 2 times in Murmansk driving with car as here far North East in Norway it is only about 2,5 hours drive from where I live to the Russian border (4 hours or so drive to Murmansk). My impression this far is that Ukraine have even more of the good things I did like about Russia and non or few of the bad things I dislike. Ukraine has thanks to you moved high up on the list of countries I am considering residency in as I have steady income from Norwegian state no matter where I move and low cost country will make my small income big as here in Norway everything is horrible expensive (pretty much everything cost 3 to 10 times or even more here).
I will make it there one day to Ukraine, On my father's side I have ancestors from Iberian Peninsula, Scandinavia. On my mother's side Scotland, Ireland and Iraq. My mother married a nice man from Ukraine his last name is Nowak. He is a chef and introduced me to many traditional Ukrainian meals and of course Pisanki eggs! My girlfriend of 7 years lives in Krivoy Rog, and I have visited her many times. We have been together to Kiev, Lviv and Dnepropetrovsk. I love all of Ukraine, and Ukrainian people, and would like to see it all. I actually stayed in Hotel Khreschatyk in Kyiv the night before all the dreadful shootings of 2014 started,, and I cried for Ukraine. I will continue to watch your great videos

I love in the wine country in Northern California. I like your videos because i know nothing about Ukraine. I am on your side in the war because Russia wants to take over Ukraine again. I hope you keep your freedom. There are things you could make videos about regarding Kiev. I just found out you can zip line over the river. It has a massive compound of old churches and monesteries and lots of other interesting places. You could also talk about the state of the area around Chernobyl. Your videos are fun to watch. I live in USA in the middle of the country. I have been to the Ukraine 3 times in last 3 years. Nikoleav, Odessa, Dnepr. I love the country and the people. I love the culture and the arts. Your vlogs are good you need a sound reducing mic when filming outdoors when it is windy.
How about taking us shopping one day for clothes or food in a store so we can see what that is like there. Can you explain dating customs and superstitions.
