00:07 My way to Ukraine
Thanks so much for the update Olga. I am encouraged to hear that businesses are open and people are working. Stay safe! 🙏❤️
that's where most of the $200 billion dollars the US gave them, people thought it was for weapons but it was to prop up their economy to keep things running.
@@ToeCutter454no that is incorrect. 90% of the money allocated was spent in the U.S. to produce new weapons to replace the old ones given to Ukraine. They did get some humanitarian aid from the U.S. but most of the cash assistance came from the EU or loans. Ukraine has had to have help as its economy was damaged terribly by the war. I am amazed at how well they have done considering all the damage to the grid, the inability to ship out goods, all the economic activity lost in the occupied territories, and the loss of so many men to the army and women to other countries escaping the fighting. Just shows how resilient the Ukrainians are.
@@vickistewart that goes for any war torn region where fighting has occurred over the span of human history. we do at least have stopgaps now a days with the NATO alliance. i hope they can weather this and it's good that we have fast news stories at our fingertips to know what's going on and it's helped stop for the most part rampant propaganda that would otherwise easily sway the war. my only worry is with everything else going on in the world we're going to stretch ourselves too thin to handle everything, there is still so much going on and people are starting to air their grievances that have been piling up for the last few decades. i would hope that if Putin is overthrown they could fracture Russia up further to be something akin to Canada but rather than being provinces of a larger country each section would itself be it's own separate country, this would resolve a few issues. the water is still too muddy to see a clear outcome on a global level and we've yet to see anything from China regarding Taiwan, it's as though they're waiting for the right moment.
@@ToeCutter454 Putin has his hand in many of the conflict areas in the world either directly like Syria and Ukraine or indirectly like Gaza, Venezuela, and Nicaragua not to mention the disinformation campaigns he has going in all the western nations. Getting rid of him and his cronies would be a major step forward toward a more peaceful world.
SAD BUT UKRAINIAN MAP IS NOT REALITY
In Dnipro (eastern side of country) situation a bit harder, more air alerts and more drones & rockets 😞 Economic crisis hits hard also, for instance food prices are almost like in Germany, Italy, France etc, but salaries are low( minimum wage is about ~165€ ) It’s why humanitarian aid is important and we are grateful for it❤️ Of course weapons we need also 🌝❤️
Exactly, because they are close to war zone
Thanks for sharing - brilliant video.
Olga stay safe❤❤
Interesting video. Thanks for the update. I know it's a difficult time for Ukraine but stand strong!
It really is!

Great vlog Olga!! excellent to see day to day life in Ukraine!! stay safe Olga 😊

Olga, thank you so much for sharing the video. Although watching your video after a long time. Nice to see you.Ukrainian morale is still strong. Respect to those who lost their lives for their country 🙏 . Love to all people of Ukraine. Stay healthy, stay well, take care of yourselves.❤
Hi Olga, you always look wonderful, but see you have slimmed down and look fabulous! Have a wonderful day.
Oh thank you!
Relieved to see you have returned safely to your country. I last saw you several years ago as you were heading west for safety. Stay safe and may Ukraine succeed in its quest for freedom and democracy. Here in the U.S., it seems the Republican leaders in Congress will agree on more financial support in all likelihood in the next several weeks. The Democrats have been trying to get this funding bill passed for many months. Recently, things look more optimistic.
😊Thank you.
Thanks🙏❤
I was in Chernivsti a year ago and felt very safe.
Brilliant vlog Olga!! great to see day to day life in Ukraine 😊 keep up the excellent work Olga😊 keep safe!!
Thanks 🙏
@@Olga_Reznikovayour beauty can't be quantified you are absolutely gorgeous stunning and mind ❤❤❤
@Olga_Reznikova 8:45 they are living in a delusion. There is 0% chance of victory in Ukraine. Especially now that no western country wants to support a losing war. Also Russia is out producing NATO and has more man power. Most Americans don't consent to having their tax dollars go to Ukraine. Now the attention has shifted to the Middle East. The US and it's NATO puppets have to save ammunition for a potential war with Iran and China so yes you should be trying to get out of Ukraine.
Thanks Olga for the update! Greetings from Dnipro 😊
Thanks Olga. A very interesting and well produced video. It was stomach churning to see all the pictures of those killed by the Russians. As one of your regular follows I am delighted to see you looking so well.
How about all the Russians killed by the Ukrainians in 2014-2022?
Thanks for the update and stay safe.
God bless and preserve the Ukrainian nation
I am happy you have posted today. I have not seen anything from you in a while, and was a little worried. I hope you all are safe and doing welll. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I didn't have anything interesting and don't want to post useless videos
@@Olga_ReznikovaAt least we got to see you are safe and see your amazing smile! 😍🥰😍
Thank you very much for showing us how the real life in Ukraine is nowadays.
Very much appreciated indeed.
Welcome!
What is great about Ukraine is that the sky is the limit and there is opportunity everywhere for growth and business and entertainment. Unfortunately there is still a war. But in UK or France there's so much bureaucracy and everything has already been done or built out like industries or investment opportunities etc. that's why Ukraine is the best place for entrepreneurs and possibility. Land is abundant unlike in London or UK where land is expensive and bureaucratic. that's why my friend who lived in Germany for 5 years decided to return back to Ukraine permanently before the war...also many Ukrainian chose to stay in Ukraine instead of going to the west is because they want to preserve their culture. They know if they leave they and their children will lose their ukrainian and Slavic culture forever because of assimilation. you will become polish or just another generic English speaking person living in Europe.
Thanks for sharing. Your children are growing so fast. Be safe love your vlogs. ❤
Yes, true 🙈
At what point you crossed the border? Please tell me next week we go to vinnitsa
this gave me a lot of perspective. thank you for sharing.
A lot of people are frightened by the rocket attacks but statistically the chance of getting killed by a rocket in Odesa is less than getting killed in a car accident in Switzerland.
Last summer I was in Ukraine for 2 months. I went from Odesa to Kyiv. Two weeks after I was in Odesa a very large missile destroyed a church 500m from where I had dinner. It changes your perspective
.. you've failed to make an actual point. considering your chances should be zero. nobody should have missiles lobbed at them. I mean where'd you even get this goofy statistic? lol
Ukraine will come out stronger once all this is over. Wishing for the victory to come soon and for all your people to be as safe as possible.
There is not going to much left from ukraine..half of it will be NovoRussia..parts will shift to greedy Poland and Hungary,Romania going to be bigger...rest will become puppet state of Russia as Germany were after ww2 and denazification and reeducation of nation will begin.
Hi Ol;ga i was in Lviv last year and found it safer walking around at night than in my town in the uk ,people are friendly as well,i be coming over soon to voleteer
Yes but UK doesn't in risk of rocket attacks, unlike Lviv🙁

Wow nice!
Maam u r indeed brave to return also thanks for making this video..felt nice to see the city
Theres nothing brave about visiting ukraine. Shes safer there than in the UK.
Thanks 😊
Great video, Olga!
Since you have been in the UK your English has improved massively
😍😍
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Now when I see the cyrillic X, I will just think of hot dog, хот-дог. Thanks, Olga.
That's khot doh. In Ukrainian H is Г and G is Ґ. Very few words in Ukrainian have G sound. Х is transliterated Kh. For example Херсон Kherson and Харків Kharkiv.
Yes😂
My question is how long does it usually take to get a visa to the USA? I have been told by a couple Ukraine’s that it takes a couple years for a visa or passport….is that correct?
Visa decision is done right during interview. Than about 3-4 days to get passport with visa
Nothing will ever be the same in Ukraine!
The ferry from UK to Netherlands is overnight? Isn't it like 30 miles?
Hello Olga. Nice to see you back. Home is home. No WAR! Good luck all the best Ukraine. Have a beautiful day. Bye. Rudi.
Yes, definitely!
I spent four months in Ukraine 🇺🇦. First, with the 4th Battalion ILDU at Lviv, then with 1st Battalion ILDU at Kupiansk and finally with 2nd Battalion ILDU at Sloviansk. I stand by my statement.
I am watching you after Long time and you have changed like before, looking very so Nice,,,
Is it similar in Kiev or life is different there?

And by the way, Olga, your home town looks beautiful and I will visit that town. Me and my wife plan to go to the mountains as well. Your video gave a little taste and now I gotta have it! lol
My hometown is not touristic really, nothing to see there 😊
@@Olga_Reznikova I like it like that. I don’t care for tourist traps.
Thanks Olga! Glad to see an update from you. Your hometown is beautiful. It's encouraging to see that life is continuing. Разом до перемоги! Слава Україні!
An interesting video.
At the risk of seeming somewhat ignorant, I noticed a short time into the video, an adult toy store apparently right in the center of Khmelnytskyi. This isn't unusual in Ukraine? In contrast, in the US typically there are often zoning debates, court cases, or city council meetings, which typically end up putting these kinds of stores in the most underdeveloped, inaccessible, or most obscure location as far from plain view as possible.
I'm not untraveled, but I haven't been to Ukraine yet, so I'm not familiar with Ukrainian views on this.
There are only a few places in the entirety of North America where businesses like this are shunned, and they fall within two areas - the bible thumping belt in the southeast and of course mormonland in the Midwest through SLC. Comical, since the mental depravity of those from said areas is right off the charts. Just look at the current speakers “arrangements” with both his young son and daughter… 🤮
@MikeOxlong- Even so....those are still large areas of the US. My point being that the US (wasn't generalizing N. America) seems to create issues where most of the world doesn't see any problem.
Thank you for your video Olga . I wish you a good journey and safe passage. Praying for a peaceful Ukraine and a return to peace. Best wishes to you and your baby. 😊
thank-you for the very nice update. Are the Ukrainian banks and ATMs operating normally?
Yes!
Yes, but there is a limit how much cash you can withdraw per day from one account

Can you maybe share in what city you crossed the border? :)
That travel operation was pretty impressive. 👍☠️
Thanks Olga! ❤️. Are the Check points mainly on the Czech side? 😉 Victory for Ukraine!! 🇺🇦🔱🇺🇸🗽
How Czech? We don't have borders with them even 😅
Thank you so much. Please understand that there are only a few Republicans in Congress who have stopped the aid. But because the Republican majority is so small (only a couple of seats in Congress), those few can control everything. They can even control the Speaker. Many of us are lobbying our representatives to get more aid. Please remember that most Americans stand with you.
I’m happy that is good to see this video
The birds were so loud in the middle of the video.
Nice to see you Olga, you're looking very English at the moment, thought you may of given up on TH-cam, glad you haven't 💜

How long time you was out of Ukraina before you came back ?
From Timmy in Norway.

I traveled to Ukraine from the United States last year and stayed in Lviv (western Ukraine) for three days. The city is quite ordinary in many ways. I didn't even hear any air raid sirens go off during my time there, but I hear that the sirens are still common in the city. Western Ukraine is definitely safer than other parts of the country. If anyone chooses to travel to Ukraine right now, I would definitely suggest staying in the western part of the country and remaining cautious. Even with the war, I found that Ukraine was still a nice place to visit, and I hope to return in the near future.
What about zaporizhzhia please i am planning to go back ?
The city is shelled with missiles from time to time. Since the distance to the front-line is relatively small you basically have less than 5 minutes to hide to a shelter and most missiles and drones hit the target. Russia also tries to destroy energy-producing facilities so there can be blackouts.
In case there is no help from US for more long time there is a risk our army will have to slowly retreat in some areas. Zaporizhzhia is still not the main direction of Russian attacks, but this can be changed in future.
I personally would not risk living in Zaporizhzhia or Kharkiv (unless you are working there to help our army).
@@Anton_Danylchenko Kharkivs fine. I visited there last summer. The city is run down from 30 years of neglect, other than that, I felt absolutely safe there. Safer today than it was 3 years ago.
That display of those how have died is sobering. Statistics don't tell the truth. Also, it's probably safer in parts of Ukraine, even with rocket attacks, compared to some cities in the US.

Hi Olga! Thanks for a great video. Stay safe and Slavo Ukrainia 💙💛

I'm just trying to imagine how would your life and videos be perceived in WWII Britain.
Women in WWII Britain would be working in factories producing arms or other essential goods, working on farms producing food, running bus and taxi services etc. Luxuries would be banned and rationing would be in force.
Only a small percentage of the very wealthy middle and upper classes would have had any chance of doing anything like what you do.
Hello
I no this have nothing to do with vid but I am 11 years old from Chernivtsi Ukraine I in Kanada since this god offall war but I was looking for someone I will get Putin that is a promise but I was wondering were is Petro Kravchuk? if any other Ukrainian no than let me no please
Thank you, Olga. I have many fond memories of meeting you and living in Khmelnitskyi for three years as a Peace Corps volunteer.
1:15 UK don't exist any more, was wiped out by Russia's nuke.
Slava Ukraine!!!
Speaking as a Canadian, Ukraine is small, but I do see what you mean about the war not being everywhere.
As for visiting some time, I'll wait until the Russians have left and are less likely toss their calling cards around.
Active fighting is on 15% of the land. That’s what she means. This is different than missiles that can land anywhere. Btw Ukraine is the same size as Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba. So imagine there was a war on the southern border with the US. What would Edmonton be like ? Normal. Unless a missile landed there
Yes, Canada is really huge😂
Mahadev please stop this war
It's all fun and games in Ukraine till a rocket drops and blows your head off ... 😂
Thank you that was amazing . ❤ 💙💛💙💛 ❤
Show your audience some of ukraine Bandera statues, and who he is. Can you do that please! 😊

Dyakuyu, Olgo, for this grassroot report. One question, if you allow me: I often travel to neighbouring countries of Ukraine and have repeatedly felt tempted to cross over and visit such cities as Odessa, Chernivtsi, Beregove etc. I've always stopped short of doing so, not for security concerns but for fear of being a nuisance as a tourist in a country at war. Do you believe I can (morally) afford to travel into Ukraine and visit some places as a tourist, while the country is busy with something as important and serious as the war against Russia?
I am so glad to see and hear you dear Olga, hope as soon as possible the war between Russia and Ukraine may end,
God bless you and your sweet kids ❤❤❤
War is over...Russia strategicaly won and doing now sweeping job.
Glad you made it there safe and sound. Are you there to visit, or are you moving back?
Thank you @Olga for your courage, western power's do not see, hear, or speak on issues you raise. Love to travel and trade with your country 😊
Yes! Thank you!
Slava Ukraine...... I wish Peaceful Sky`s for all of you... :-)))) xxxxxx
The first time when I saw Polish farmers blocking road dropping Ukrainian grain to the floor made me really angry, I hope those farmers don't do it again.
In other hand it is good to see people returning to their activities but it most be very hard to have a familiar/friend fighting in the front 😢
Khmelnistky looks very beautiful and active!

I hope you can make some videos of your native city while you are there ❤

Hi Olga you are very beautiful girl and your English language very good 👍
Dear Olga, I really suggest you to speak rather slowly. You see when English is one's second language, one should concentrate in pronouncing and articulating each word clearly rather than speaking fast as a native English speaker would speak. Pronouncing and articulating English words better would make you accent so much sweeter and cuter. I tell you this because you are so sweet and your content is so interesting; on the other hand, I hate not to understand you because of your accent when actually a Ukrainian accent should be an advantage to you.
Yes sure! I understand it and add subtitles
@@Olga_Reznikova Yes, most Ukrainians speak fast, but when speaking English try to speak slowly as if you're talking to children.
She speaks very well, articulate, I understand her easily and the subtitles are usefull for those viewers hard of hearing.
I KNOW YOU ARE GENUINE. I WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR VLOG!
