it annoys me that they don't list the screen size under specs on the website. seems like they are trying to hide that it's smaller than competitors. they should just release a larger format and charge a bit more.
I like the idea of this handheld device. It is interesting the choices they made for the build of this device. There are a few things that I am curious about such as the feel of the buttons and joycons. I know you went over the trigger button but not the rest and the feel for them. I am not sure if you went into detail on the processor being used on this particular handheld device. "Snap dragon something" wasent clear. The defining factor for this is the 4K 144HZ display which is really impressive. I am wondering if youre going to do a follow up video testing the screen for the 144hz and/or display 4K content to validate their claims. This seems like a great device handling all mobile games for steam, xbox or epic. Id love to see the thermals and the fan being put to use while gaming or casually watching a stream , youtube video or movie. IMO , The large bezzles for the display really diminish the beautiful potential it can have with the 4k 144hz. Im not sure what the dimensions are for the screen with/without the bezzles. for this particular model, Newer "Better" Portal QLED (256G) version , is $549 with the same screen size and bezzles as all the models. . Looking into the pimax page, they really dont provice much detail of the device apart from 2 pictures at the time of purchase. it seems like the webpage does not provide adequete information for each device. I am not sure if this company is brand new but it seems odd to click "purchase" to just review each model. I believe this device has potential but it still has ways to go. I cant wait to see other youtubers tear down and really put this device to the test.

they need an OLED, with smaller bezels and that thing would be dope. i also dont mind having to having a battery pack to plug into while traveling or whatever if these devices drain battery quickly for better performance. it's still much easier than trying to play on a laptop on a plane.
Anyone knows if the Portal comes with built-in GPS? Pokemon Go is kinda dumb for this device, but there are more and more proper Android games coming out that include a IRL GPS component :/
You should definitely mention that they've been advertising Vr functionality for ages, but haven't released the upgrade until now. And the sense of the removable Wannabe Joycons is a mystery to me. Except maybe that if you don't hold the console with on the display, the magnets come off and you have to pay Pimax even more money to fix it. And on top of that you get an outdated Android 10 with the promise of Android 12 where you also don't know when it will be. For gaming better Ayaneo, Steamdeck, Asus Rog Ally or another x86 handheld for portable VR better a Quest. I regret buying the Portal. Lots of empty promises.
Out of curiosity can you download COD mobile, Call of duty warzone mobile, diablo immortal and Madden mobile? I'm curious of buying this and want to know if you can get some apps I play.
I think a lot of these new steamdeck clones are really, really banking on people not knowing they can use their phones with the controllers they already own for ps remote, steamlink, and gamepass.

Moonlight works as well in this device? With the Rog Ally i had some issues with gamepad detection on some games, inside or outside steam platform.
