- The second year of the split saw CART continue to evolve its schedule, with the new Gateway International Raceway being added. PacWest had its best year ever, with Mauricio Gugelmin and Mark Blundell both winning. However, Chip Ganassi continued his dominance, as Alex Zanardi would win 5 races and clinch the 1997 championship. I hope you enjoy the video, and remember to like, comment, and subscribe!
Great times in IndyCar, too bad they couldn't race at Indianapolis because of that Tony George and his IRL. I remember Zanardi and his awesome donuts but IndyCar officials didn't like him doing his victory celebration so they put a stop to it. Good video Bowser.🏁🏎

The streak from Rio until Cleveland is the best sequence of races I've ever saw
