    I love the idea of a blaze bar vs. a decorative knot. It looks more rugged and durable. Thanks for the idea, keep it coming. Excellent photography and lighting and step by step directions that can be easily followed. 👍

    What do you Weavers think of this fast deploy paracord bracelet? Would you all like to see more quick deploy paracord bracelet tutorials? Like or Comment to let me know, thanks!

      Quick deploy is a nice extra feature :) I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a few more tutorials!

      You could use a diamond knot, U-Shackle, or Snap Shackle in place of the toggle. If you use a diamond knot, you will have to finish the bracelet with version 2.

    I've been wondering if there was a way to make a bracelet like this. I'm not really one for fashion, but practicality makes me quite happy.

    Hey! Paradudeaz here! Really glad you liked the video I did years ago with the quick deploy blaze bar. I like what you did with it and I really enjoy your channel, keep up the good work! I haven’t posted anything for years in that channel but I still do enjoy making a bracelet here and there :)

    I did make one but it seemed to make sense to make one using Wildair paracord which contained a fire starting strand (as well as other survival strands) so in the event I would be to start a fire. The fire cord works really well even using the small fero rod as long as you fluff it up beforehand.

    Hi? I watched the video but it is the first time to comment. The blaze bar I made is good too. I uploaded it too, but I did not respond to it in Korean. Put a scraper on this bracelet and try it out. I am always concerned with the design of Quick Deployed Knots. I always support and watch.

    I'm a total noob at paracord weaving (never actually made one), but I'm looking to get in to it specifically to make a fire starting bracelet. My idea was to use a ferrocerium rod, steel scraper ring and fire cord (if that's a word). Any tips on how to integrate the scraper ring?

    Just saw this video...can you use this design and knotting to make a quick release belt? Maybe double the center core? Thanks...

    • @davids11131113
      @davids11131113 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure why not just make it way longer, then it’s a belt.

    What kind of jig are you using ???

  • @jrunt7436
    @jrunt7436 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cool bracelet, but that ferrorod would have high change of breaking and even from two spots. Wouldn't it be better idea to just have small dent in middle to avoid slipping and then secure paracord around the rod with just basic cow hitch or clove hitch?

    Isn't that ruining the ferro rod though? I would just, not cut it, and put it around my neck or in my edc bag

    I was wondering if you could make a Belt using this "quick deploy" tie method???

    • @Siphx_n
      @Siphx_n 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think thats a bad idea, the belt could get caught and unravel accidentally.

      No, you can do it without the jig, but it'll be a bit trickier.

    I will recommend to file the edges in the drill holesso that after some time of wear and tear it still won't cut/worn the paracord :) Just a minor detail that will enhance the lifetime

    Interesting. I don't want to have to unravel the cord just to use the ferro rod.
    how about pulling the lines back through each hole, then wrapping the loops around each end?
