  • This paracord bracelet gives you 10-15 feet of cord depending on the size of your wrist. Make sure you have a safety break appropriate for your environment. This could also be used as a belt.

Cool way to do the "buckle" without plastic parts. I'm going to change the way I do survival bracelets.

I figured there was a better way to do a decent looking cord bracelet with a figure 8 wrap but the completeness of this design with safety break and everything is just outstanding. I'm curious how well a belt version would work.

While I favor more complex weaves for quick-deploy because they give me far more cord to work with, this is actually a fantastic way to keep busy with spare bits of cord and even store it. I think this would come in very handy for after you deploy a larger setup and only have 10ft left.
Also great for getting kids into paracord bracelet making without discouraging them with complexity.
very nice vid and excellent call on adding the "in the field" bit

Really cool design. I'm going to try it out with a bunch of different projects. IV been looking for a non time consuming way to make a quick deploy belt. So thanks for sharing. I wonder how it will look with straps versus the Paracord as my go to for (survival) cordage is straps because they are easier to check for damage and are load bearing.

I just made a full belt with a few inches less than 50 feet of cord. It probably wont deploy as quickly, but it looks damn cool

I really hate paracord bracelets, but his thing is pretty cool, and pretty fast and easily done with things on hand. May have to give it a try.

Do anyone who did this know approximately how much cord it takes? From the video it looked like 3m or 9 feet
Also, could it be done starting from a key ring + cow hitch?

I did this on my backpack handle and I love it, it makes it chubbier but a little bit stiffer.
I found that this wrap doesn't work well on soft bodies, especially if you tension it a lot.

Your title and tag game is weak. More people would find this if "quick deploy" was added, I believe.
