- I literally had an emotional hangover after this, but it was SO worth it. I love they boys and I love Melody's! What a mature album - when did they become grown-ups? (I'm sure the bts Beatcom says otherwise haha).
Before anyone says it, the lyric videos..we all know. But I still appreciate them because it turns my 2D view of the songs into 3D, even with the inaccuracies.

I think my way is dedicated to changsub. It hits different when you know the fact that changsub ran away and wanted to quit as a trainee. But eunkwang together with hyunsik brought him back promising that they will debut together.

The whole album is wonderful, it's like being on a roller coaster of emotions, and I can't pick just one song. I can't help but cry listening to it. I enjoyed your reaction too much, thank you very much.
My favorite B-side is definitely "its all good" the message just hits me.. and it makes me feel as the rest of you.. that it was for our 1004..
Also, i want to see them perform that while they are playing the instruments...changsub on drums, hyunsik on lead guitar, eunkwang on keyboard.. i hope we can witness a stage like that 🙏

I think 4u and kingdom era are the time Peniel grow so much. He's trying to step in front cause with lesser members he can't hide in the background anymore. And I appreciated it so much. Military hiatus is hard but it also help us, fans see potential in Peniel.
They poured their heart and soul into this album and it shows. Melody is extremely lucky to have artists that care so deeply about their fans.
I think Thank you is a reminder for us that life is beautiful. What an album Btob.💙 The last 2 songs is surely for our little lost boy. 😢

This album is definitely a masterpiece..a showcase of their vocal prowess and a taste of the beauty of their music. THE SONG is a beautiful song of nostalgia..of memories made and days gone and promise of the future. It's really made for Melody but can also be associated with IH. The 13 tracks are all so good..but since I've heard the snippets..til hearing these full songs..I am in love with BLOOMING DAY. Don't know if it's the lyrics or the melody but it really made an impact to me..they all sound so good! The upbeat songs are so good too. BE TOGETHER would be a nice title track too. ENCORE for me is like a combi of Finale, Our Concert and Someday.. really good for an ending song..the final performance. Well, you got me crying again during the last part. And yes, I do believe that THE SONG, IT'S ALL GOOD and ENCORE are made for IH. The words are screaming out his name..the 6 poured their hearts out for him..comforting him..telling him not to be sad or afraid..assuring him that they'll be there..that they'd be together again..these group just proves how much they love him. They can't talk about him, can't be seen with him, can't be cancelled bcoz of him..but they can say what they feel through their songs and that's just what they did. Anyone who listens to this album would be moved and get emotional..be it a Melo or not..coz these songs speak so much of their feelings..and hits directly to the heart. The listener would also feel the joy, the sadness, the loss, the reminiscence, the hope..these songs are bursting with emotions..I ache so much. Yes, this album is so good..it's worth the wait.😊💙

In encore… hyunsik singing “here for you” over and over again is him saying it to his favourite ilhoon.😭
So glad I stan for BTOB since 2015, I think this is really the best decision in my whole life. They promise to sing for us untill they cant sing, I cant imagine they disappear from my life one day. Thank you BTOB and Miss.Hurraria.
If not the song and not celebrating the 10th anniversary, I think I would choose Higher for the title song. Nobody in Kpop can really do the same thing as them. How can an idol can compose this song and how can an idol group can hit the highnote like BTOB. Also I want to give a big slap to those haters, BTOB are not only sing ballad song well.

I think in case of BtoB when it comes to choosing a title for their albums they don't choose the most perfectly produced one or the "trendy" one who will get more views, they have their own standards

Hyunsik, Minhyuk (producer line) and Sungjae we're on the radio today and they were asked if their any changes in members voices after military and both Minhyuk and Hyunsik said that Sungjae has improved so much he became much more relaxed and can get the note he want without to much effort. this a link with eng sub I hope you watch it it's so fan and Sungjae also talks here about the different between Hyunsik and Minhyuk while producing.

I think we shared the same thought there, I thought to myself the other day - if I won the lottery I would actually reach out to CUBE and say I'm paying for an MV for each song. No lie. Watch how BTOB blow the heads off the industry, they just need a little more funding.
@@HurrairaJamal my favorite thing about that thought is Outro/Encore wouldn’t and doesn’t actually call for a big budget set or extras or anything from a normal high profile music video. Worst case scenario is if you have to/want to pay to fly the majority of the Melodys and Melodudes out to Korea and also have to pay for a license to film on the roof of Cube Entertainment. If they’re willing to lug up plants up there they might have lying around the whole building, and sofas chairs and tables to make it look like a living room on the roof of Cube. Then they put on the suits they wore to film the booklet pictures of the album and just perform Outro/Encore on the roof and Melodys are on the ground and there’ll be shots of us watching them.
My favorite is The Song and Its all Good. I'm crying because of our angel and all the songs hits so deep in our hearts.This is why I love BTOB, they're amazing person, the brotherhood they have and the love for their melodies is amazing.Thank you huraira. All will be alright in time.I trust BTOB.

I would have picked Higher as their title song. I think it would surprise the general public in a really good way. I understand why they picked the song tho, they want to remind everyone who BTOB is. But yeah, Higher is a great contender.

This is the only group I blindly buy the album with the high expectation that I'd love it alll!all!! Sometimes there is only one or few songs good in some artists albums but no BTOB 😊

I don’t know… with btob songs, there’s always a couple songs in the b-side that I would like an mv for… it’s true this is a no skip album but if I have to pick… uhhhh… uh…uhhhhh… I’d say the song, higher, all good and encore. For me, the song was mostly about Ilhoon and btob’s relationship with melo while the mv story line was for melody. I don’t know whenever they mention a certain person’s smile I help it and see flashes of ilhoon’s smile. It’s sad and I always freakin cry.
About Sungjae’s voice yessssss I always had trouble distinguishing his voice vs Hyunsik in some bits of their songs but along the line I’d realize who it is but this album I just straight up get confuse who it is 🤣 but love his voice tho he’s blending to the song?? Depending on its sound I guess…

The first time I heard It's All Good even without the lyrics yet, with my small Korean skills, I immediately knew and felt that it's for him. After seeing the lyrics, I cried again and the more I listen to it, I cry and just cry. I miss Ilhoon so much. 🤧

Something about BTOB, even when they're being experimental, I STILL LOVE IT! This whole album is so beautifully produced, it's all about them, their fans, their beloved one.. It's a full package album, with great songs, great vocals, great rap, great lyrics, gosh.. They truly live up for their name huh, healing idol~
1. The Song... Whenever I have time and decided to sit and watch the mv properly, I always cry... Or at least my eyes got teary.. It's just so beautiful.. How is it possible, to feel loved by someone who I haven't talked in person??? I can see how they're so thankful towards their fans, I always feel it, but this song just incredible. The song, is a song for melody.
2. The lyrics video really makes me feel so itchy.. Lol.. I want to correct everything! But yeah, it's for the lyrics. I need to keep on reminding myself for that.
3. 7:12 Everytime they sing something about winter.. It always reminds me of my winter back in 2020.. That was the coldest winter for my heart.. That year, I don't know how I survived that. I lost my brother. And to make it worst, Ilhoon's case just broke my heart to pieces. Not because of what he's doing, but because of how broken his heart must be...
Yes, that winter was the coldest and longest winter I ever felt. That "Blooming Day". Reminds me to Ilhoon so much. I hope he can find his spring again. And we can be "we" again.
4. 12:07 Sungjae really has matured a lot in term of his voice. BTOB also kind of surprised by that. They said that practice on military probably has something to do with it. One thing to differentiate Sungjae and Hyunsik is listening to the end of the sentence and their vibrato. It's so different.
5. 17:38 I'm soooo agree.. In this album, I feel like Hyunsik really shows up his voice a lot! I love it! He even takes lots of adlib by himself, just like the one in encore. He growls, he screams, he has his low and high registers, everything! I love it so much! And everytime he opens the song, I feel like a heavy stone rips my heart apart.
6. 19:25 My Way, where Changsub sings "I've been lost" then Hyunsik called him "CHANGSUB HYUNG"! That one is soooo clever, and Hyunsik suggested that. And that's definitely what happened between them. At that time, Changsub was no longer trainee in CUBE, but then Eunkwang and Hyunsik persuaded him to join CUBE again. Changsub and Hyunsik coincidentally met in a university, where the probability of being accepted is 5:3000, him and Hyunsik were the only boys accepted on that department. Crazy right?
To add, Changsub especially made a promise with Eunkwang to be successful together. They're destined for each other! 8. Lonely was composed by Hyunsik.. He has the melody way before he joined the military. He re-arranged that and made that song talked about loneliness, as he felt lonely while in the military.
9. 38:54 THAT'S MINHYUK!!! The one who's singing at the beginning of HIGHER. And the one who growls after that is Sungjae. Hohohoho
The label is correct for both Hyunsik and Sungjae when they're singing in turn.
43:36 that is Hyunsik, and I love when he sang "It's not too late" with that tone. It sounded soooo cute and rawrrrr.. Hahahaha...
10. 46:48 That one is Hyunsik, when you said that Sungjae is able to tone the darkness on his voice off (in Thank You). But I do agree that Sungjae's voice has changed.

Just like what you said, as an international fans, we can just cheer them through whatever way, and we may not be able to meet them forever. But they keep on saying "Your love to us is enough. Even if you don't buy our album, even if you can't come to our concert, etc. etc.. You loving us, is more than enough. I'm thankful for that". It's not exactly what they said, but that's the point. I think each of them has mentioned about that, many times.. So we won't feel guilty even if we can't do anything and only able to listen to their songs.
Overall.... This album is on par with Brother Act... I'm loving all their albums, but these 2 full album, just hit me so hard.

I'm so sorry to hear you lost your brother, I hope you have been able to remember him fondly. It's strange really because I often think of music as something fun but when I speak to someone like yourself I am reminded that even I use music as a way to escape, to heal, to confront my own realities.
I have always said this, I am so grateful that I found BTOB but I am even more grateful that I found Melody's because I really feel like I have made some true friends and have found people that understand me. I hope you know that I understand you too. I really appreciate you supporting me, watching my reactions (twice?! You are mad!) and for your lovely comments and honesty.
Although I haven't listened to every album yet I definitely agree that this is a tough contender for Brother Act. And I understand that this reflects their current feelings and their recent struggles but I did miss the care-free BTOB and songs like OOFM and Blowin' Up. I hope one day they can get back to that...musically. We all know behind the scenes they are still as mad as ever. 💙💙

He released it a week after my brother gone.. What a beautiful coincidence. Even the lyrics "Still in your heart, I remain. I'm living and breathing", with the calm melody and his deep voice. Feels like my brother talking to me through that song. D*mn it, why am I getting emotional while writing this reply. Lol..
Music is more than something fun.. I totally agree with you, music is our way to escape, to get some courage, to heal, to face our reality, to cry, to laugh, everything. Especially if we can find the right music for that. And fortunately, BTOB has everything! Lol... They're my sweet escape. Will forever be grateful to them.

Actually, blowin'up was composed by both Hyunsik and Ilhoon :(((( And also Winter tale. They collaborate to some fun songs and able to create that great songs... They often share the room together to compose songs... Now I miss Ilhoon again.. I don't know how it will be if Hyunsik composed a song together with Minhyuk, it has never happened before. thank you so much for this reaction and your review and thoughts, It took me a while to listen the whole album, bcs of the streaming, but then I felt like I needed to appreciate the whole album, and what AN ALBUM. I agree its a no skip album and my favorite is "its all good". I like these kind of song that makes me feel like its ok not to be perfect, and its exactly what I have experiencing lately. it was one of my favorite melodies, but after learning the meaning It definitely my favorite. After listening to the album I also felt like I needed a hug.
I don't know if you had time, but in their press conference and launching live, they talked a little more about the songs and lonely was written by hyunsik while serving in military and the base sound he changed from the show where he showed the how he produced " if I hug you".
did you see the fan chant released today? after streaming the song so many times, this was was not so bad to learn, except for the long Korean sentences. 😅.

Be together album say it all from the first day until present all the struggles,emotions and feelings enclosed in each song and I believe the full album is dedicated not only the fans but most specially to our one and only cheonsa.
When I looked up the official lyrics for Dance With Me, I realized why no one has made a lyric video for it…they are talking about dancing…just not ballroom dancing 😂😂 The lyrics are far more questionable than Whiskey.

The whole album in general was having his sense but specially the last two, the lyrics were directly to him it was like a big hug.
I think they needed this album their first comeback as 6 to send this message before keep going and moving on, to make us the fans who where beside them for whole 10 years feel safe to talk about this to express our feelings. I'm afraid to see this live I'm gonna die of crying and I'm sure they will cry too.

Thank you for your reaction; as Hana, it takes a lot of bravery to listen to the entire album because it's still painful. With the exception of "The Song and Be Together," I've never listened to or read the lyrics of any songs of this album, so when I did while watching your reaction, esp for the last two songs, I began sobbing. BTOB truly, absolutely loves BTOB the most. I'm grateful that BTOB chose music together. Their music is unlike anything else. I really miss Ilhoon and am relieved that he has brothers like BTOB.

i'm not sure if you're already aware of this but most lyric videos actually point out the wrong person singing for some lines. i just needed to voice this one out. haha.
I think there are some errors on the color coded lyrics, some parts were mismatched..
I know a lot of international melodies have been saying this entire album is about ilhoon and I get that they miss him but I also think there's a line and they should never go too overboard. Btob specifically said this album was of melody, by melody, and for melody. The English translations of the lyrics are also not completely accurate in capturing the exact meaning of the song (ex: A melody we used to sing together is actually supposed to be the song we used to sing together, melody). Like the entire album screams fan album and if some people interpret it as ilhoon that's fine. Songs can have different interpretations just like art. But! honestly it's been a year and spamming 7, ilhoon during TH-cam lives and instalives (which is very rude because they officially said they are continuing as 6 and it was ilhoon's choice to leave and fans are not respecting both 6 members and ilhoon's decisions. It's one thing to miss him and another thing to spam comments section, especially when members can actually READ those comments. They are trying to move on but fans are just making it harder by bringing him up everywhere). Also, just interpreting everything as ilhoon-related is starting to get on my nerves. I feel like no matter what lyrics btob writes, even if its supposed to be about melody in fansongs, or a lover in more romantic songs, people will be like omg they are talking about ilhoonnn... according to btob, this album is about btob and melody's relationship over the last 10 years. They officially said this so I just wish that people would stop overinterpreting lyrics because they only see things they WANT to see and hear things they WANT to hear and overanalyze the lyrics. And yes people can have different takes on music and that's why music is often magical but like I said, everything needs a limit. Too much is bad. And I've seen too much mentions of ilhoon regarding this album.
Thats a shame, honestly, don't let it get to you. I fully expected it because this is the first time Ilhoon is missing from their music so naturally most comments will be about that, he has so much love in the fandom. Some songs are outright for Ilhoon but as you say the rest of the album is about BTOBs 10yr journey and Melody too. I was hesitant to talk about Ilhoon during this comeback, I still stand by what I said in my reactions and where I felt they were addressing him, I definitely won't be bringing him up in every video..not that I really post BTOB reactions anymore (apart from Beatcom).
