This is one of those figures which transcends whether you're a Star Wars or Vader fan, or not. It looks so damn good, and has so much to look at; it really is a terrific piece of art. I expect it to be a one-off, which'll only add to its appeal.
I don’t own any star wars figures but this one will be my first as I wanted a vador in my display and the mythis statue from sideshow was too big so this one is perfect.
Hot toys secret base (FB) also mentioned they use nylon material for the suit this time instead of the usual pleather (nylon is more durable than pleather from what they mention)
I got the Kenobi Vader but display it with the clean helmet. The sleek, shiny, black armored Vader we saw on screen in Kenobi is my favorite Vader of all time and I am definitely picking this one up. 1 clean shiny Vader and 1 severely battle damaged Vader in my collection FTW
I just paid off the 40th anniversary Vader and I didn't buy the Kenobi vader. I am seriously considering this one for the reasons you mentioned. I could switch up my Star wars display to have the clean one sometimes or the battle damaged one sometimes. Plus, we have to mention that you get Hayden Christensen with this one and Bernard Shaw with the 40th anniversary so you have both actors. I don't think the Bernard Shaw had sculpt would work on this because his head seems smaller but you will have two representations of Vader in two very different styles that work for a lightsaber duel. It's like original trilogy or prequels & Beyond.
I have the kenobi one and wiñl get this one. I got into star wars way later in life. Never understood the hype from yoda and vader from the first films. They literally did nothing in those films. Hayden made me actually like vader.
Same as you, I actually was tempted to get the Kenobi Vader, I do much prefer this, however if someone will let that go for cheap in the after market, I will gladly get that.
The ultimate would be him on the operating table with the medical droid , or when he was burning up crawling after Kenobi , have the Hasbro burned up figure and operating table and droid, but…

Exactly. I think those two compliment each other perfectly. I hope the neck connector is compatible between the two figures.

The Kenobi Vader and this one are Sigma
The helmet damage doesn't make sense. Nearly half of the mask was burned off but the top of the helmet has slight damage.
