Big Bird got so much into his whole downplaying persona that he summoned Nemo and made him switch his target from leading the anti Gief crusade to Rashid
He has to compete against Phenom and ALL OTHER Ken players
@@HopeDust0 tbf bigbird's the only rashid player out there downplaying him 😂
Bigbird is a legendary downplayer but it flies under the radar for some reason. Every single time some nutty rashid setup appears he is the first to quote it on twitter and explain why it's "not that good" (even though it is) but the problem is these nutty set ups appear on the timeline all the time so he's trying to play whack a mole on the timeline with his busted character. He occasionally tells people "yeah his level 2 is amazing" to try and act like he isn't a turbo downplayer.
😂😂nice analogy saying he's playing wack a mole im crying bruh@@kiwi2257
That Rashid combo lmfaoooo what the hell I ain't even mad it's hard af to do
Especially online I’d salute
Nothing is hard to do in SF6 lil man
@@flanwithaq2724do it and post it on yt
@@flanwithaq2724the hardest things in previous games were the 1 frame links, this combo has 3 of them. Go be a regarded contrarian somewhere else lil bro.
@@flanwithaq2724 look, a parrot! 🦜 you don’t even know what you’re talking about, this combo is hard asf and pro players consistently drop it. Let’s see you do it consistently.
I know people are in constant wars about how heavy execution sf6 should be, but Im a firm believer that (dismiss rashids lvl 2 strength) combos like this should exist. The 1 frame link has no overall heavy bearing on Rashid's strength but instead extenuates his combo potential and skill gap. I want more little things like this (not so much having to manually link and time normals into each other). Thats just me.
I just go with the standard philosophy that the highest damage combos should be the hardest to pull off. That way you reward the people who actually invest time into learning the game and playing at a high level.
@@milton5417and also creates the situation of “can I pull it off right now? Is it worth it? Am I feeling it?”.
Cause sometimes, you just want to pop off and go all out. But other times, you might not be. I love it when we can see players not feeling it for the harder combos, but then when in the groove, Bam. Lands it
@@pian-0g445 It's also on the player's judgement too. Let's say you block a DP or a super and are on 2.5 bars of drive and have CA. Opponent is rrrriiiiggghhhttt around 65% life and 3.5 bars of drive, so you won't be burning them out even with the CA. A flawless execution max combo might just get the KO. And you could drop and look silly, and maybe the combo doesn't quite kill and leaves you in Burnout (albeit with cinematic CA recovering a good chunk). Maybe you do the combo maybe you opt to just do Normal -> Special -> CA to optimize remaining drive, figuring 1 more mixup might get you the win anyways. Or DI -> Normal -> Special -> CA to put them juuuuust about into BO.
These are some desk combos lol 😂
For real... I'm so glad someone actually said it 😅
Love being a clips viewer
"only happens when your opponent burns himself out"
So every single round vs noah?
And half the rounds vs everyone below 1700 MR.
Burnout isn't THAT rare to see.
Anti Noah tech
@@halimalnami1560 No the red card anti- ragequit system is anti-Noah tech.
@@shaunmcisaac782 burnout is rare to see when you have full drive and super meter though
Nemo is in reality just the final boss of the grey square room.
8:36 "Nemo is like evil santa" had to laugh at that one 😅😆😁
Man, I wish every character in modern fighing games nowadays would at least have some more sauce like this. Instead it's a rarity if you even just have one or two character having a flexible enough moveset to explore things like that.
If you want sauce play GGST
Sure there are not many saucy combos but there are saucy mixups and setups
@nekopath2879Plus, character diversity and expression is a million times better in GGST. I like SF6, but half the cast is Low Forward Drive Rush.
Sauce as in mayo sauce lmao @ ggst
Dang that's some dope tech.
I also love these types of videos Brian, keep it up 💪🏾
Broski posting a Video about how strong Ken is today too 😂 I guess we’re ending the year talking shit about these OP characters in SF6😂
True, but it’s invariably influenced by his MU experience. You can make the same videos about Ryu and Akuma, with their respective strengths. Ken is a sweaty shoto and Broski admitted that dragon-lash ain’t OP - that’s the biggest complaint in the casuals community.
@@workoutfanatic7873 But it also addresses Ken's standing in competitive, as it stands; Ken is still extremely strong.
@@workoutfanatic7873Ryu isn't anywhere near the consistent top tier menace that ken is though, and while Akuma has a similar level of strength, in a tournament setting, asking players to swap off what they know already to learn a character with less health is a tough choice to make.
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38 true, even casually though, he’s extremely popular, and has been so since World Warrior. I mained Ken from WW to SF4
@@acydrayn73 I mean it’s perspective. Ken can’t chain three cr. Lights like Akuma and Ryu. He ain’t got a normal overhead you can delay DR into for plus frames. He doesn’t have plus on block braindead buttons like Akuma’s f. Fierce. He can’t link normal strong-strong like Ryu and Akuma (cr. Strong-strong is stupidly OP). And though a frame faster, his low forward has less reach.
The throw loop nerf early on was a huge nerf to his corner meaty pressure. Now, Ken has to manually time a frame perfect meaty by micro walk. All three are well balanced IMO.
Keep in mind also that Ken is probably the most popular character for casuals, period. And yes, it’s sucky sucky when you get into Diamond and meet Kens that can’t even do his run cancel BnBs.
And the system mechanics make corner carry OP. Like, you can’t jump yourself into a corner like in SF4. Ono dumbed down the game to grade level RPS in SF5. SF6 is a return to form, but retains some dumbed down aspects, like removing Ken’s Kara into everything, removing air normal variety (as to all characters).
High execution combos are actually awesome, especially when you see someone pull it off in a high stakes tournament round under all that pressure.
Most of these set-ups would be solved with the very reasonable nerf of making lvl2 dissappear on hit. It's honestly ludicrous that it doesn't, and all these Nemo clips are a clear example of that. Rashid would still be strong if lvl2 had that nerf, he'd just have to think about his opponent's options a bit more instead of going full single-player.
@Demonstormlord he never got hit in these clips so I don't get your point.
Edit:lmao not sure what I was thinking when I said this
@@Puntersnatch you must have watched a different video then because there's multiple clips of Rashid eating a wakeup lvl 1 or 2 from his opponent only for them to get hit by the tornado and allowing Rashid to convert into big damage.
@@PuntersnatchHe literally facetanks Luke's lvl1 and lvl2 at 06:07 and 06:21.
At 07:28, 07:51, and 08:01, he gets hit by Cammy lvl1.
At 08:55 and 09:14, he gets hit by Ken lvl1.
In all cases, he gets the tornado to hit them out of their super, and converts to big damage.
Did you actually watch the video?
@@Puntersnatch?
@@Puntersnatch The guy that doesn't get hit in any of the clips is Brian.
They are talking about the other guy, Rashid, the one in the game doing the tornado.
I think letting super projectiles go through it would be a perfect balance for this character imo.
Pretty interesting idea tbh I'd like to see them try that out
Or just speed up the Tornado's speed so it isn't as braindead in neutral/corner, all while (hopefully) fixing the anti-wake-up-super properties of it.
At this point its clear that Capcom does NOT want to nerf Rashid's level 2
They gave him a bug fix awhile ago, that mattered.
How many years until the tornado goes away when you hit Rashid and we go "Finally lol"?
The thing about this kind of thing is that it compounds when a character is already strong. It's like I'm as good as every other character but then I also get this extra strong set up where everyone else has to play the game in a way that relies on normal prediction.
poor bottom rashid has to work so hard to win rounds
People complaining about Rashid level 2 in a new way based on new tech is wild to me and just reads like super salt.
Don’t get me wrong, I think the super needs to be nerfed. But if Nemo picking up the character and discovering new tech months and months after the character launched (tech only like 1 of 3 people will probably use) - what’s the issue?
This tech isn’t going to make his super less annoying for most causal folks or even pros anyways, most of who spend way too much time being terminally online complaining about this, that, or the other thing anyways.
Yeah fr lvl2 is good but this video is clawing at straws and straight up scrubquotes lol
@doorbob3445 "clawing at straws and straight up scrub quotes" i summarized this very interesting new tech and laughed at the funny exchanges between the players. I don't even care that rashid can do these setups, i think they're rather niche and interesting, and stated so in the video. Not sure how I gave you that impression, but I'll work on my presentation more with your feedback. Thanks for watching.
One of those situations where everyone just says: yeah well it's not gonna happen in a match... But dammit it could totally happen lol and you know people are gonna try the same way they do with any hype ott combos. Rashid is crazy as hell lol feels like watching dbfz combos
It seems all these clips have one thing in common 🌪️ 🌪️ 🌪️
This kind of situational awareness is one of the coolest things in fighting games, I hope we see Nemo cooking fellas with this in tournament one day
Beautiful Shinkiro art! The man is a legend!
Dude online did this. I blocked SA2 tornado midscreen, i'm in blockstun... Opponent ends up dashing me out of the the tornado and grabs me...
That's extremely normal rashid level 2 usage. That's the type of stuff that actually makes the level 2 busted, these setups are just a cherry on top
Rashid players power up each time people complain about them lol
Someone lands that on me, I get up and applaud them because it looks ludicrously hard and they deserved every second of joy from landing it
Bucket Crab Ed in action.
Just what big bird needed
rashids been playing a different game since day 1. It's nice to have magneto in a street fighter again though.
People were saying from day 1 that the nado should go away as soon as rashid takes a hit. Kind of like how bison planted bomb works..
half expected Big Bird to be in the comments downplaying
Anime characters getting all the love. Meanwhile the french and russians gotta hold those nerfs.
Ohhh man, tell me about it. Just wait for the random Ken buffs next patch. 'Cause, "he's the weakest shoto".
Manon has been everywhere in my rank games.
we hate the french
@@TheShotgunShovel he really needs it
Manon at least got a good indirect buff when they changed drive reversal such that you can get heavy command grab after blocking it, plus the super meter gain buffs are nice.
For the first time in my fighting game journey, i decided to choose a character that not only looks cool, but also IS cool. Most of the time i pick mid tiers. Love Rashid.
I feel the same way about Rashid as I do about Luke:
Likable presentation and personality. Absolutely blood boiling gameplay and balancing.
No one likes sitting there in Block Stun jail only to misread a 50/50 grab and have to restart the process all over again.
Nemo is 100% on a mission to get Rashid nerfed asap😂
When Nemo picks a character I think everyone that mained that character gets anxious because he finds so much good tech that eventually gets nerfed lol
4:46 Being bodied for not having invincible level 1 on wake-up? For Dhalsim players, it's just Tuesday.
You know how there are always talks on which region is the best, this right here is the reason why I always say Japan, even if they don't win as frequent as before. They are always the first to find tech!
Finally some Guilty Gear content from Brian
Nemo is the gift that keeps on giving
Bro the spider on your wall is huge
God of wind Nemo
Giving people a nightmare before Christmas 😂
I love Nemo, as more of a spectator then a player these tweets are hilarious 😂. Same reason I thought Rolento was sick cause i've never had to fight a high lvl Rolento myself 😅
This is the kind of thing you'd find in X-Men vs. Street Fighter. I wish MORE characters had stuff like this.
More characters? Maybe all of them. When one character is constantly buffed beyond compare it kinda ruins that character IMO.
Ever since Rashid came out I've hated that super its beats almost everything and it doesnt go away when you hit him
Rashid playing like its marvel vs capcom out here 😂😂
I'm not worried about this tech - I'm not strong enough to fight Rashids who would go for it anyway
As much as I'm against 1 frame links, as long as it's not a huge difference, it's fine. Like it you can get a slightly more optimal combo in a niche situation that nets you an extra couple hundred damage, cool. It's when those super high execution things become requirements to play the character competitively at all, that it becomes an issue. They should be optimizations, not requirements.
Every character has sauce like this. We just too lazy to discover it 😅😂
Never nerf Rashid capcom this is HYPE!!!
Watching the first combo: "Man, that's really cool, but why did he spend level 2 to only use the first hit- 😲😲😲 "
It's so messed up that Ysar doesn't go away after Rashid gets hit. Cool as hell for all the potential, but so messed up
Lmfao big bird just cant help himself
I think because the season is going towards the end, just like any other sports people in the community starts to magnify problems and complaint about them. It can't be coincident there is a video about Rashid and Ken by high profile youtuber within hours.
getting Yuri wall flashbacks from all the pressure
Nemo makes akuma look like an angel. What a demon 😂
The moment I saw Nemo's name my face crumpled xD
I love Nemo, but his routing is just evil. It always has been and probably always will be 😂
They are going to make the projectile disappear if he is hit (properly pretending it was a bug) and the character is fine again (fine for Rashid standards)
Why doesn't Capcom just make the tornado immediately dissipate when Rashid gets hit?
One frame links tho. Especially multiple in one combo. Just means they’re hella good.
Nemo is insane
I wouldnt be mad at this combo every character needs one lets Buff 💪🏽 the game Capcom!!
I’m not one who gets salty about Rashid because I haven’t really played many high level ones as of yet. Basically, he’s Chun Li in Third Strike. He’s by leaps and bounds the best character in the game because he’s essentially playing his own game much like Chun did in Third Strike. I know people say ‘Well what about Ken?’ Ken is not playing his own game, Ken loves to play SF6 and he plays it better than any character in the game which is why there are more than 10 Ken mains in Capcom Cup. Rashid is playing his own game and much like Chun in Third Strike there’s nothing people can do about it and just hope everything goes right.
I just dont understand why Rashids is the only level 2 without any counter play. JP pops level 2? You can parry and jump out or hit him and it disappears. Ed pops level 2? It travels much faster so he can't just walk behind it to mix you AND you can jump over it.
Just take the throws honestly. Better than a 5k dmg combo
@@LeroyRenaldUnless you get thrown 5 times in a row.
I guess using cinematic super to counter him if he tries overhead or throw or something is sort of a counterplay, I know that's not much help if rashid is just patient. Only other counterplay is hitting him during the start up or character specific stuff. Yeah I tried lol I can't defend this bs 😂
@@LeroyRenaldyou are absolutely right, unfortunately that's the answer to a few things in this game.
Big Bird downplaying Rashid again is fucking hilarious. The balance of being in burnout in the corner to avoid stun is to super. If you can setup a guard against any reversal level 1 and 2 supers that then PUNISHES, that is a huge deal. It completely guts the burnout stun counterplay. And we didn't need another checkmate in this game when defense is already pretty lacking.
3:43 the bad succ
I wish they'd tone down silly stuff like ysir in neutral and make this kind of swaggy, super technical stuff more rewarding. I would love to see some characters get some more sauce in general!
Edit: DUDE THIS IS LIKE SOME MODERN DAY AEGIS UNBLOCKABLE LEVEL TECH THIS IS F*KN SICK!!!!! If I got hit by this in ranked I'd email the person and meet up to shake their hand in person, can't even be mad at this. 10/10 Hype, but it should still honestly go away on hit.
execution high, damage compared to everything else if he already has level 3 full bars is low, if he gets his juice mid combo is sick and is amazing. Nemo? fuck that
Your more or less said what I often do about that early clip:
There is plenty of cool/funky tech, but the optimal play is often just dr mp/HP stuff, which makes the game feel super dry. Like that ryan hart Dp punish combo, where he does like 5 or 6 dps is awesome looking, but you just know you should've done something way more basic.
These Rashid setups wouldn't be so annoying to see, if more characters had more flavor. This is kind of "Kokonoe at home" setups, but definitely stuff that would and could matter. More options is never a bad thing.
I believe that capcom could fix this exact issue, and make the game way more interesting with 2 simple changes.
1: Significantly lower the damage of all moves across all characters
2: Remove damage scaling
If they do that, then what's optimal would suddenly change to trying to fit in as many hits as possible in a combo, rather than only doing a couple heavy buttons into super before the damage scaling kills the combo damage completely. That's why boring, dumb stuff like medium kick, drive rush, heavy punch, super is optimal. But long and hard execution combos aren't. Damage scaling, and the reason we have damage scaling is because everything does too much damage by itself.
Honestly id be popping off if someone landed that first combo on me in rank
Honda is not vulnerable to this. His lvl 1 is 1 hit and his lvl 2 goes through Rasheeds lvl 2
Big Bird actually putting a big target on his back with all this Rashid social media defense.
With all the BS people are discovering about him, if a Rashid player will win at Capcom Cup probably will not get the praise he would deserve. Anything less than a W would be seen as an epic fail.
That's all on Capcom tbh
Did any Rashid players make it to capcom cup? It's mostly Ken and Cammy players getting in
1:24 - hi Brian, what do you mean by “avoids the input buffer”. Meaning it’s an airtight link like 3S of SF4? I play Ken and it feels that there is no generous input buffer for his jinrai loops, especially the short jinrai launcher from target combo (feels like a 1f link)
I believe he means since rashid can do a normal at any time, you have to press the button at the right time. there’s no framekill, you must press 2HP on the exact frame or you don’t get the setup
@@Yaktonio That's true-but more specifically, I'm pretty sure he's referring to the fact that SF6 has a 5-frame auto-buffer for links and stuff, so "normal" combos don't require timing tighter than 5F. Certain other situations, like this, the Jinrai loop @workoutfanatic7873 mentioned, microwalks, etc, are the exception.
@ thank you that makes sense. I struggle with frame perfect meaties with Ken as well. Love that they brought these high execution things back, after Ono had a massive brainfart with SF5 (this statement might piss some ppl off lol).
How hard is hitconfirming the heavy punch on guile?
I’m a fan of tournaments, not a player myself. What are people supposed to do about the tornado? How do you defend yourself?
Pray
Take all the throws
The checkmate scenarios demonstrated are very niche situations. Usually when you get knocked down and they do level 2, make sure to quick rise and try to block/parry the tornado asap. And then you can just accept getting thrown twice by holding parry
Big bird is such a clown , the point is the threat of the set up , if the Rashid player is going with the game plan to apply these set ups then what are u going to do. It’s like Gief command throw, its the threat of the option that’s scary.
Man, i love RASHID
IF Rashid is gonna get nerfed, I'd much rather they nerf everything BESIDES the level 2
So at 7:25 after Rashid heavy punch, wouldn't cammy be able to throw or jump to avoid the DI? If not shouldn't the DI whiff? I thought there's a kind of lock system where you can't combo true block string into DI to get the wall splat
There’s about a 1 to 3 frame gap in between the heavy punch and Drive Impact when blocked. The opponent does not have enough frames to jab or grab but it’s still a frame gap meaning it’s technically not a true block string either. The only option is to super because super has frame 1 invincibility.
@dylbert3088 aaaah ok, make sense thx. And since the super is also blocked by Rashid lvl 2, then there's no option left but to take the DI and get a wall splat
they;re killing this lvl 2 on god. shit going away on hit season 3. as a marvel player I fuck with this. but Rashid players cant keep the rent low forever.
So maybe quick animation level 1s are exempt? Like Honda level 1?
😢 Honda will still get caught
Capcom still decided to nerf kill rush
Rashid did nothing wrong. We should all practice and train like Rashid. In fact, we should even learn from him
As a a casual player I will probably go all my life without fighting someone that manage to do this. And since 99% of the players are casuals like me people should be chill about this. Its super cool to watch
99% is a stretch
@@Ibuybabyaliensnope, 99%
99% of players can hold these nuts, the game should be balanced around the top level. The solution to your problems at mid level is to get better.
throw the whole super away
just noticed that the clips channel has been getting more views than sajam's
El Fuerte v2
Everything in this video is cool af, obnoxious as these stun setups would be to have to hold in a match.
Low key got a tiny bit annoyed when Atrioc once said something in relation to not needing to cater his efforts to recording content for this channel "Aedish somehow always has content to post". No that's Aedish digging deep into the vods and the slop to try and salvage what they could. That's not Atrioc content being so dense with clippable moments that he can just get away with providing less content to clip because Aedish always makes it work somehow.
On launch this super used to have infinite hits.
It's been nerfed... but honestly...?
he needs that doe..
Wow, Nemo is playing his 2nd most hated character since Sfv?, there must be flying pigs in the sky😂. If he picks Zangief then the world must be ending
All this shows is that his Lvl 2 is more broken than we thought, and needs to be his lvl 3 instead.
Not sure why this is "wow so rad bro", Nemo is showing the broken parts of SF6 because some people love seeing things break.
We need a patch for this shit ASAP, this is ridiculous.
Bigbird is trying so hard to downplay his character so Capcom doesnt murder it is not even funny at this point.
I would start by increasing the tornado forward speed, that would solve some problems in 1 change.
I don’t mind rashid purely because I one and done every single one I run into and if they appear in a tournament I just go do something else because I know the match is about to be sleeper af
Is it a true one frame or does the buffer kick in?
There is no buffer to help because it's done out a free juggle with nothing to buffer behind. True 1 frame
Big Bird will win CC, Capcom will fail once again to get a JP winner, Rashid will be sheepishly nerfed-tale as old as time.
Really hate the fgc but Nemo has always been a really silly guy that I cannot help but laugh at the interactions. Cool combo.
So this is basically the anti noah tech 😂
