All this trouble, and then in the post-credits: Robin (troubled): "Uh... Marion?" Marion (delighted): "what?" Robin: "It's rusted. It won't open!" Marion:"WHAT?" CALL THE LOCKSMITH! XD
@@arghjayem in america the mint with a hole is a lifesaver, as a british guy i never got that in the days of pre-internet. i also thought it was a polo
@@stewart_fisherWe call those lollies with the holes in them "life savers" in New Zealand, so the joke made sense in our country (they're named after those floatation devices that boats have on them). Except our lifesavers are fruit flavoured. I think the manufacturer in the US makes them in both mint and fruit flavoured varieties.
I love the guy who plays Robin, you see he is using the sword skills he learned in the Princess Bride and at times in the scene I can see Wesley character (‘As you wish’).
You should try watching "Lady Jane" sometime.. He's quite good looking in that movie too.. Stars opposite Helena Bonham-Carter.. Historical romance about the life of Lady Jane Grey.. who was Queen of England for 9 days in 1553..!
I completely understand Marianne's pain. I've been one for 25 years, and lemme tell you, it gets harder to wait. At least she found someone she loves and who loves her! It's adorable!
I just love that my Christian parents catholic family friends let me as a kid watch a movie where the villain’s climax is graphically trying to rape the love interest.
Yeah like it’s entirely played for laughs because the movie is a comedy (which is, a choice lmao) but also if you take 3 seconds to think about it it’s like wait up a minute uhhhhh…
"I feel good, surprisingly good. And yet, somehow, incedibly depressed.... Wait! Wait! I'VE CHANGED MY MIND!" - Sheriff. There are fates worse than death.
Back when I worked at the sunglass store in the mall, I sold Cary Elwes a pair of sunglasses. I had no idea who he was until my manager ran out and said, "Do you know who that was? That was Cary Elwes!'. I said, "Who's Cary Elwes?" I guess he was working on the film Glory at the time.
Nobody gonna talk about how Roger Rees was a perfect Alan Rickman parody? Or how Amy Yasbeck was a hotter maid Marion? Or how the magic pill to save the Sheriff’s life is a Polo mint? 😂
I know this a comedy version of Robin Hood which I still like this movie because it's hilarious and funny but I have one issue about the version of Maid Marian wearing a iron belt. I mean how on earth Maid Marian manage to have a toilet with that belt on and while still locked.
So she couldn't have bust in when the man was about to rape the girl??? Only when she actually consented with Robin? The writers put this as a glimpse into real life

"Parry, parry, thrust, thrust, gooood..." that line has lived rent free in my head for an eon. 😂
Took this comment to understand he said "good".

This movie is amazing!
I never caught that. lmao.
Lol right? 😂
You mean a polo surely?

I love it when Brunhilde runs in and the camera zooms in on her face as she cries "NO!"

Judy Neutron: Moment Killer!
She was like JCVD with that NO.
I love the guy who plays Robin, you see he is using the sword skills he learned in the Princess Bride and at times in the scene I can see Wesley character (‘As you wish’).
Well, that is how he got the job in the first place.
Fun fact in real life Cary elwes is a bad guy all husbands hate
Wesley and Robin do have things in common.
Exactly what I was thinking. Love a good sword fight.
He's also having the time of his life when he's fighting the Sheriff.
This is my favorite movie of all time especially with Cary elwes in it he is so handsome and very talented
I wish he had been in more movies during the 90s and 00s, the best decades

yes yes the women in the audience wish they were Amy & the men wish they were Gary

I'll marry you❤ I'm 30
Ayyy! Another member of the club! Twenty-five and still waiting. There is no shame in it! It means we have standards and integrity.
Almost 37 and still waiting
Nearly 27 and waiting so I definitely understand.
Marry me, I'm 75 and still waiting.
You know this scene was serious because Wesley used his right hand.
"Noooo!" I couldn't breathe when i first saw that.
😂 I love how she took her sweet time when Sheriff Mervyn took Lady Marian but came charging the moment Robin almost turned the key. 🤣🤣
"she is your sister"
Locksley and Bagelle. Priceless.
The frickin jackhammer gets me everytime x'D

Mel Brooks is a comedy genius
I love the Peter Pan shadow situation!
Anyone else see the thumbnail and wonder what Westley is doing with that redhead?
Does feel a bit like cheating, yeah...

The shadow puppets bit, inspired!
Everyone gives Game of Thrones crap for that Starbucks cup, but Robin Hood straight up forgot to edit that crew member out.
almost like that's the joke

So is the OP's comment....or atvleast, I hope it is!
There were a ton of fourth wall gags like this.
At least this one didn’t die.
When he stabs the guy’s bagel… hahaha
A jackhammer? In the Middle Ages? Mel Brooks, what were you thinking?
That shadow puppet scene 😂
And years later, Robin of Locksley, a man in thights who's roaming the forrest looking for fights, is going to be John Paul II...
En Garde!
Thanks for the Warning.
I've been trying to remember where this was from.
Mel Brooks brilliant!
This movie is so crazy but funny too
On guard
Thanks for the warning. Lol

The guy that plays Sheriff deserves an award for this movie. Absolutely entertaining 👏
Carrie elwes gets the best swordfight scenes.
Really ought to shut and lock that tower door dudes.

Great movie!

Most chastity belts had openings for being able to pee and poo but kept the.. main part closed.
I used to think about that too. Maybe like tooth floss to clean the poop out
Real chastity belts had ... holes for such things. Too small for sex, and often spiked to prevent the attempt.
I hate that this is actually a good robin hood movie.
Magic pill is mint Polo 😂
No, the magic life saving pill is a Life Saver lolly.
Майкл Прейд Робин Гуд на все века.Лучше него никто не сыграл эту роль
*NO!* Vait, vait! You're not married yet. Before you do it, you must go through it. Or else I blew it.
The sheriff had a fate worse than death.
Young Cary Elwes looked like my cousin at the same age.
Is he single ???
0:06 dude on the right side lol
5:19-5:40. There are fates worse than death.
Prepare for the fight scene!
It's probably not important but has Marion been barefoot throughout this hole wedding?
Hole wedding.

Im Still wondering to this day, what did Robins key open 😂
I so love carey eelsa hes so gorgoeus
Hermosa la lady marian se parece a Thalía ❤
Almost as good as The Princess Bride 😅
So she couldn't have bust in when the man was about to rape the girl??? Only when she actually consented with Robin? The writers put this as a glimpse into real life
Wtf am i watching lmao
One of the best comedies ever made
And why should the people listen to you?!!! Says prince John 😂😂😂
Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent.

WTF was that Dave Chapelle in the beginning??
They don't make parody movies like this anymore.
