I would also recommend Epic Restoration mod, it adds spells and most importantly it gives you an option to renounce/refuse any of the Daedric princes' quests for a gift from the divines instead of a Daedric artifact. Also for armor, BDO armor Pack contains the best collection of holy knight armor I've ever seen
I was a bit skeptical by the creation club loadout and basic play style but you guys surprised me with probably one of your best backstories guys, really knocked it out of the park with this one.
This is one of my favorite builds. I've always had a fascination with holy warrior orders like the Knights Templar, and the exploits of Pelinal Whitestrake are some of my favorite aspects of Elder Scrolls lore. Without getting into the shadiness of the Creation Club, the Divine Crusader mod itself is actually a pretty decent armor set for low-level characters (levels 10 - 35 thereabouts). After that, I'd advise trading up to the Breton Paladin mod.

i've found that the stats you gain more than make up for the armor and weapons falling off at 35 (especially if you decide to add smithing by level 50 you have most of your perks anyway)
I may have mentioned this previously in the comments, however the Legacy of the Dragonborn mod on Nexus adds a set of Divine Crusader armour. Legacy is a massive mod that establishes a museum in solitude dedicated to your exploits and a large number of lore friendly, and/or previously seen relics, including a set of crusader equipment. It can be smithed to change it between heavy and light and has appropriate enchantments on the various pieces. The pieces are scattered around Skyrim in enchanted chests, many in dangerous areas, that can only be opened by a person under the blessing of the appropriate Divine or has found Sir Amiel's Ring. I find this a good idea for a Roleplay crusade to retrieve the armour
Pelinal whitestrake, the first bearer of the armor of the crusader was a brash warrior who fought as the champion of Alessia to defeat the Ayleids and end human slavery. Then against Alessia founded the first empire of cyrodil so honestly this could go either way.
Personally I think the whole "against Elvenkind" thing should not be a factor. The divines value law and righteousness, and killing people due to racial or religiois beliefs is neither. Plus the Elven Gods are also Aedra and some are even in the Imperial pantheon just under different names or appearances

And who knows, the Dragonborn may even gain enough the support from the Nobles of Cyrodil to possibly be made the new Emperor (That would also definitely appeal to those who question the reign of the Medes since they definitely don't have Dragonborn blood)
It may be to reflect how the Imperials were chosen by Akatosh to take Cyrodiil from the Ayelids and establish the worship of the Divines. Pelinal was apart of this battle so the Crusader seems to mirror him but in the modern day.
Steven Rottum, well, you might want to retract that claim about the imperials wanting to crush Talos worship. As you can tell in the game, one of the soldiers even say a silent prayer when you kill Ulfric in Windhelm, "Talos be with you". This seems to imply that not all of the soldiers want to crush Talos worship, rather they're forced to by the emperor who is actually kind of a scaredy-cat. Perhaps in the following weeks and months after you complete the dark brotherhood questline by assassinating the emperor, maybe you can become the emperor and terminate the white-gold concordat then bring back Talos worship to satisfy everyone. I think that would actually make a lot of sense. plus the stormcloaks are racist towards anyone that's not a nord while the imperials allow anybody to enter their ranks regardless of race or gender. So in my mind and other people's minds, the imperials are actually the best to choose to fight for in the civil war questline.
Helping the Stormcloaks would be indirectly helping the Thalmor. No true member of the Empire considers the Dominion an ally, and will eventually go to war. Let's not forget, that before Ulfric started spouting nonsense and caught the attention of the Thalmor, the Empire allowed the Nords to still secretly worship Talos. But that moron couldn't keep his mouth shut, which forced the Dominion to come investigate and enforce the law. It makes more sense for the Crusader to aid the Empire, so they can eventually overthrow the Dominion. Just picture the embodiment of Pelinal Whitestrake going against the Empire he fought for. Just looks bad.
The real question here is: what happened to the Knights of the Nine? Were they hunted down and besieged by the Thalmor like the Blades? Did they peacefully close down the Holy Order and renounce Talos? Or did they simply die out before the start of the Great War? I’ve never found any info on the subject but if you guys can, I’d be delighted to see a video on the subject. Great work, great show
Things aren't always so black and white. Several characters in the game secretly worship Talos while not necessarily supporting the Stormcloaks. Both Jarl Balgruff and Kodak Whitemane in Whiterun honor him, and it's strongly implied that Legat Rikka still worships him despite being a high-ranking member of the legion. It's a complex situation: do you help tear apart the empire your god created for the right to worship him, or do you forsake him (or at least keep your worship a closely guarded secret) to keep that empire together? At the end of the day, I'd have to say the latter. Yes, it's terrible worship of one of the most prominent gods to Nords and Imperials alike has been outlawed, but to tear apart the empire he forged is to negate much if what he left behind.

To aid the Stormcloaks, while serving to reinstate the worship of one Divine in one province, would not only serve to further cripple the empire Tiber Septim created, but it would fly in the face of another of that empire's patron deities. Not to mention that Talos says: "Be strong for war. Be bold against enemies and evil, and defend the people of Tamriel." Helping to further destabilize the empire that has held Tamriel together for centuries, which only serves the interests of the Thalmor, easily the most dangerous mortal threat to the land's people, is most certainly NOT defending the people of Tamriel.
Scotttjt Well considering the empire made peace with the Thalmor and is letting them kidnap and torture people I think the gods would not support the empire. As well the less people who worship Talos the less power he has so it is extremely important for his worship to not be outlawed or the realm of men could be easily destroyed. Talos protects the realm of men more than the empire, the last Dragonborn is a Shezzarine an aspect of Talos.
If your playing on console use this background. While traveling to Skyrim to visit the home of Talos you are ambushed by an imperial guard and charged with treason for possessing a amulet of Talos. So instead you chose the stromcloaks. Even though you don’t fully agree with them, you are devoted to the nine including Talos.
Also, for roleplay reasons you can grab the Epic Restoration mod which includes "Renounce". This spell lets you defy or expel the daedric lords and fail the artifact quests. Edit: also "Exorcise" which lets you destroy daedric artifacts.
Here’s another mod that goes perfectly with this: Wintersun. It overhauls the faith stuff in the game, and it’s by the same dude who made Ordinator and those other mods. ;)

I highly recommend the Artifacts- The Breton Paladin as the armor mod.The quest is highly immersive and the armor and weapons look better and they have far more interesrting enchantments than the Divine Crusader Armor.
In my opinion regardless of how you feel about Talos worship you should be on the empire's side. The fastest way to legalize Talos worship is uniting all men under the empire to strike back against the elves and drive them out. Fully separating Skyrim from the empire will just make it easier for the Thalmor take over.
A good mod for the diving crusader which allows them to gain access to a high quality version of the Knights of the Nine armor is the Legacy of the Dragonborn which brings with it a vast amount of other content to fill the game out with. Atop that the Aurora Standing Stones mod seems to have been deleted as of this comment's posting and an alternative for that would be Andromeda - Unique Standing Stones of Skyrim from the same author of the Faiths of Skyrim, Imperious and Ordinator.

Cool, though I whould still like a build combination between The Reaper and the Wich Hunter. Bassicaly a wich hunter, but using a greatsword instead of a bow and doing a lot of vitality damage and summonig skeletons(preferably ethereal looking).
Then make it yourself, it sounds like you have a good idea what you wanna do already. You don't have to only play the builds that FudgeMuppet makes. It's not hard with making your own build you just have to be a little imaginative and creative. Put yourself in your character's shoes and try to think what spells and perk/perk trees your character would be using.
They changed the lore behind why the crusader armor is in skyrim it wasn't a raid on the priory anymore it was a caravan that was delivering it to the priory I assume and the bandits at four skull lookout attacked the caravan and stole the armor

So i have another idea for a build. The Black Knight It is kind of like the sand demon but uses All ebony gear, has an ebony axe and sheild. His backstory is he doesn't know his past life. All he remembers is when he was revived by a necromancer. A mercenary came up with a giant Battleaxe and slashes the necromacer. He is instantly slain. The black Knight falls to the ground. The mercrnary walks away victorious. The black knight started to turn to purple ash. His arm starting to turn. But he willed to live. He saw a flash of light. He saw a giant person who looked very sly. It was clavicus vile. He just looked at the corspe trying to stay alive. Vile laughs. He feels pity for the corpse. He makes a deal with the black knight. Vile will save him, but the black knight will have no real soul. Broken in half. His ashen arms return to original form. He was mended and teleported to a nearby border. He walks not too far and is carted to helgen. One thing i do recommend in character creation is to give gim black eyes. He is a nord and will have these skills. One handed, Block, Heavy Armor, And smithing. Do what you want with the rest.
When you think Pelinal didn't go far enough so you take up the Mantle to finish the job. "Okay where is the first boat to Alinor? I'll even accept Valenwood, its close enough."
Has it been removed from Creation Club/Anniversary Edition? Or can you just not find it in-game? If it's the latter, the armor is at Four Skull Lookout, a ruin on top of a mountain near Karthspire.

Knights of the Nine was one of the best quests in Oblivion
I also recommend using Forgotten Magic mod.
As it add some refreshing restoration spells which levels up as the pc uses it more.

A good mod for the diving crusader which allows them to gain access to a high quality version of the Knights of the Nine armor is the Legacy of the Dragonborn which brings with it a vast amount of other content to fill the game out with. Atop that the Aurora Standing Stones mod seems to have been deleted as of this comment's posting and an alternative for that would be Andromeda - Unique Standing Stones of Skyrim from the same author of the Faiths of Skyrim, Imperious and Ordinator.

Love this. Just started another play but I used the "Artifacts - The Breton Paladin" mod (looks much better than the creation club one). I also used the Stendarr start. Seemed better than starting as a hunter. Love this channel. Good work

Cool, though I whould still like a build combination between The Reaper and the Wich Hunter. Bassicaly a wich hunter, but using a greatsword instead of a bow and doing a lot of vitality damage and summonig skeletons(preferably ethereal looking).

Then make it yourself, it sounds like you have a good idea what you wanna do already. You don't have to only play the builds that FudgeMuppet makes. It's not hard with making your own build you just have to be a little imaginative and creative. Put yourself in your character's shoes and try to think what spells and perk/perk trees your character would be using.
They changed the lore behind why the crusader armor is in skyrim it wasn't a raid on the priory anymore it was a caravan that was delivering it to the priory I assume and the bandits at four skull lookout attacked the caravan and stole the armor

So i have another idea for a build.
The Black Knight
It is kind of like the sand demon but uses All ebony gear, has an ebony axe and sheild.
His backstory is he doesn't know his past life. All he remembers is when he was revived by a necromancer. A mercenary came up with a giant Battleaxe and slashes the necromacer. He is instantly slain. The black Knight falls to the ground. The mercrnary walks away victorious. The black knight started to turn to purple ash. His arm starting to turn. But he willed to live. He saw a flash of light. He saw a giant person who looked very sly. It was clavicus vile. He just looked at the corspe trying to stay alive. Vile laughs. He feels pity for the corpse. He makes a deal with the black knight. Vile will save him, but the black knight will have no real soul. Broken in half. His ashen arms return to original form. He was mended and teleported to a nearby border. He walks not too far and is carted to helgen. One thing i do recommend in character creation is to give gim black eyes. He is a nord and will have these skills. One handed, Block, Heavy Armor, And smithing.
Do what you want with the rest.

I think you guys need more variety in your builds so many follow the same base idea. Less magic builds would be best coz SO many are the same builds
I couldn't find the armor described in creation club sadly... on a good note, i found "Vigil of Stendar" armor, which is just as good.
Has it been removed from Creation Club/Anniversary Edition? Or can you just not find it in-game?
If it's the latter, the armor is at Four Skull Lookout, a ruin on top of a mountain near Karthspire.

Winter sun mod Saint Alessia well allow you to pray and get the blessing of any of the nine Divines, so start with one of the other than at alessia
