This case is so weird and sad. I suppose you had to meet Jonathan in person to understand how he could charm and then manipulate people in the way he did. Rest in peace beautiful Katie.

This guy was a neighbour, everyone else thought he was a lovely, charming fella. People would refuse to have a bad word said about him,the same people I talk to now want the ground to open and swallow them up when you refer to their mate lately, its hilarious seeing them squirm. We knew he was a knave. I once witnessed him verbally abusing katie, when she died we knew what had happened, the horsey set love bombed him with sympathy

What was it that made him so likeable to many? Did the horsey background give him some sort of elitist persona that people were drawn to?

If you ask me all horsey people I've ever known are to be watched. They're definitely a different breed 😂 I never found him or any his blood relatives in anyway charming, don't understand why the rest of the world never saw what was there all along, some people are so gullible, they probably still think he was innocent

@@willmck5351 Agree, there was a solicitor in belfast who was using client money to fund his exploits in the horsey world. He got caught, but avoided jail. Champagne tastes on cider budgets is often the problem.
