Clear explanation, very happy for your concepts.. Could you please explain how to size a Battery bank based on this battery load profile.. Also sizing of an Emergency Diesel generator.
Thanks. Glad that you found the video useful. Please let me know your comments on my other videos. Please do subscribe to my channel and share with your friends. Videos on the above topics are under preparation and will be uploaded shortly.
Sizing of the transformer is dependent on the load being fed by the transformer and not on Incomer /Buscoupler combination. In your case, for example, if the 2 Incomers are normally sharing the total load and the 3rd Incomer is just a standby incomer and switched ON in case of failure of any of the 2 Incomers, then the transformers should be sized to carry half of the total load. Load Shedding will depend of total Power Generation and total load.
Sir let me elaborate my query, in addc they required bus coupler in lvpanels in the same room. Say for example i have 2 lv panel which is in the same room. Since the bus coupler is required for maintenance and alternative source, so the sizing of my transformer will be 1tx supplying the demand load of 2 bus? Then the sizing of bus coupler and busbar will be on the sum of MDL of mdb 1 and mdb2. CASE2 if incase the sizing of thansformer 1 and 2 is for the dedicated bus section then load shedding will be considered since the mdl of 2 bus section will cause overloading inf incase 1 tx is failed or during maintenance.
Thanks for your comments. Your configuration is not clear, However, if the transformer is required to supply loads of ONLY 1 bus then it should be sized to carry the loads of 1 Bus only. In case, the transformer is required to carry loads of the 2nd transformer also (in case of a fault in the 2nd Transformer), then the transformer should be sized to carry loads of both the buses.
Excellent video.
great Job, it is very useful for engineers .
Glad yo u found it useful..
This is so good! Thank you sir.

Battery sizing is direct summation of all load profiles?
I saw some negative numbers for some load profiles. Why?
L2 has time .2 sec but put it behind L3 why. please reply. the channel owner will not reply.
Say for example 2 tx is for residential and 1 tx is for motors and emergency
Your query is not clear
Sir, can you make a video for 3 incommer 2 coupler sizing for example 3-2mva tx and how to consider the load shedding for this type of system.
