Which stimulater was it? Does it have a timer to stop working?

My last 4 breaks have been delayed union and I have to wait 4 months each time to get a stimulator 🙄. I’ll buy a used one. Which one doesn’t have a “stop working timer”?

Those DJO bone stimulator is programmed to be used for 270 treatment then it expires , single pt use only because of the limitations the federal government put on it. I really want to get a used one for my poor relative who does not live in the US and had a revision ORiF on the mid humerus.

Do you usually recommend crutches for a metatarsal stress fracture? Wondering cause the video. I have a 3mm one at the base of my 5th metatarsal

Thank you for watching! I don't "usually" recommend anything, based only on a diagnosis. Instead, I think it is much better to assess the individual's goals and stage of injury to determine what is best given the runner's unique situation.

Hello Belinda, Than you for watching! I would be happy to offer tips, but would need meed more specific detail to offer any advice. I always do one hour consultations with athletes in situations like yours. If you would like to block my calendar so we can discuss it in detail you can certainly do so here. www.docontherun.com/talk-to-the-expert/

Hi Belinda. I fractured my heel too. My fracture was done due to osteoporosis.
Then I’ve been having trouble with my other ankle.

DO MEN W/ THEIR LARGER BONES HAVE BETTER OUTCOMES WITH THE USE OF A BONE STIMULATOR THAN WOMEN WHO USE THEM? I have a 3rd metatarsal fracture and am in a boot for 4-6 weeks, UGH. Anything that may speed up healing is SO attractive. Can a woman who has used a bone stimulator please comment! Thanks

When the doctor told you that you needed a boot for 4-6 weeks, did you ask if a bone stimulator would help in your case?
