In further defense of Moroni, and presumably the other military leaders among the nephites, I would say that Moroni DOES preach. 1)Surrounds Zerahemna and preaches about faith in Jesus Christ and gives them a chance to surrender and be forgiven🎉 2)And then he later rallies nephites around a banner proclaiming their dedication to fight for God and their faith (and families and other things)🚩3)And even when Moroni is upset at Pahoran his letter reads as a spiritual rebuke, and he mentions God several times! There are other examples but I think Moroni shows us that he loves the Lord and is willing to tell others about Him, even his enemies in the midst of a war ❤ aka there is no bad time to testify
