My Day Off in Harajuku: Togo Shrine, new store Wiggle Wiggle, Cafe Studio, chat about balance

Come join me on my day off as I walk around Harajuku! I walked along Takeshita Street and took the detour to Togo Shrine. Next I went to check out Wiggle Wiggle, a new store that opened in December 2025. It was a rainbow explosion of characters, colors and cuteness. I had to search for a place to go for lunch since the shop I was thinking of going to was closed. But Cafe Studio did not disappoint! I bought a new phone case from cas:pace which had an awesome collection of unique cases at reasonable prices. I finished my time in Harajuku with a Matcha Protein drink (one of my favorites) before heading back. My video ends with a little chat about my need to find and maintain balance in my life.

You are so wise. It's so important to have balance. Doing what you did today...walking, visiting new and fun places, having fun, being creative and finding new or good drinks and food to try is a necessary adventure. Fish and Chips beter than the UK...sounds delicious. Teachers that are present, caring/helpful and fun can be a lifeline for some children. That is essential in some children's lives. Thank you, Karen! There is something so fulfilling in discovery and exploring, even if it's just finding a cool shop or a new place to eat. I'm sure there will be people who will disagree with my fish and chips review, but honestly, I was so impressed! Thank you also for your supportive words regarding teaching. I feel like teachers right now are really being pushed to their limits and it's hard to see good teachers burning out or other teachers simply not caring enough about what's happening.
