I was unaware that you, having specifically DotA custom games as your main content niche and often also focusing on the smaller ones, still excluded even big mods if you disagreed with their moral foundation. Impressive decisions.
The creator of this specific custom game was also a huge asshole, he was stealing many peoples custom games and monetizing them really agressively, when Baumi called him out a long time ago he went on a little bit of a rampage attacking Baumi and Miki and the community at large, saying a bunch of slurs and stuff. Really weird guy in general, a few weeks after this whole thing went down the previous owner died, witch led to the change in Management
based on what I barely remember baumi excluded one copy game and he brought it up and basically the old owner of this game said but you play this game which is a copy... Then baumi is like Ok no more CHC (he didn't know this was a copy before the scandal). Baumi has really good morals atleast on games to play.( i dunno him bruh)

Great to see you playing this game. Yeah, I wasn't aware of all the drama either but Custom Hero Clash and Custom Hero Chaos have their own differences. I just prefer Clash because you can re-roll skills easily compared to Chaos. Keep up the great vids bro
I think what you meant when you were talking about percentage based damage is that there are different damage types that don't loose as much value against increasingly stronger enemies. Percentage based damage is one of those. Other damage types that also work are the stackable damages, like burning spear, maledict, wild axes, quill spray, etc. Because their damage increases during the fight.
No Baumi. The masteries can't simply be ignored. They're the PAY TO WIN mechanic in this gamemode. New players are at a HUGE disadvantage. I mean, just the HP lvl 3 mastery is thousands of HP near the ending. Or early game: 1k hp vs 1.3k hp, that's 30% more. Now imagine you have all 3 masteries at max level: that's multiple items advantage over new/free players.
Baumi you should use blade mail (luminance) with borrowed time (+100% return damage) But very fun video, im in love your chc videos always knowing what to do in any certain circumstance.
Darklord got famous for fixing broken and abandoned custom games, calling them redux. That was what CHClash was at first too, when the original was broken for a while and seemingly abandoned. He took the opportunity to make some changes that had been bothering him with the original as well, essentially ripped the mode and its code like he'd done previously and adding a few things. Then he had the great idea of monetizing the games when it got popular, and I guess the money got to him.

There's also a subscription model with increased amount of rerolls on hero selection and abilities. All in all it's not gamebreaking, but there's a slight edge to paying. Funnily, the original updated its title to say "no pay to win edition" a little while after monetization was added to CHClash.
If you’re talking about darklord stealing the chaos game , why don’t you play the original version ? Why do you play clash instead? Just interested because from your perspective, playing stolen version isn’t sensible , because promoting original version would be better .
