    I just love love the way you used the corner rounder on the ends. I personally have always hated doing it with the little hook on the end illustrated on some that use the envelope punch board. ❤️❤️

    I've watched 5-10 videos on embossing folder storage. So far, yours is the best. Very easy to understand and to follow the video. Thank you for a good video.

    Thank you for this video. I have been searching the internet for storage for my embossing folders and you are the first person that I found that has shown and explained how to make these storage folders easily. I will be doing this ASAP. You've made getting organized simple, quick and easy, thanks again.

      I do have questions:
      If I don't have legal only letter size folders what measurements would I use? Do you gave a video for letter size folder?

    This is another video from the "Wow That's Cool" Video Series. In this video we will make some embossing folder storage folders using the Stampin Up Envelope Punch Board. Work right along with me while we create some folders to store your embossing folders and organize you so you are able to make use of all those Embossing Folders. For supply list see my blog @ craftyandcreativeideas.blogspot.com/2014/03/organize-embossing-folders-with.html

    I love my envelope punch board and I love my embossing folders, so this was a great video to see! I love to be organized, but rarely am!! I have an adorable basket I purchased to store both my Thinlet dies on magnetic sheets and embossing folders, but am in the process of putting the thinlets that match stamp sets into the DVD cases with the stamps using magnetic tape. I had a thought while watching this video. I am going to use up some 'old' discontinued CS to make my folders and I think I will emboss the front of the folder instead of adding a separate piece of paper to the front of the folder. I have a new label maker to use to label them since I haven't figured out how to make labels on the computer, yet!! Thanks so much....I can't wait to go and organize my embossing folders!!

      Hi Mary,Hope this works for you. I too have my thinlits in small folders similar to my embossing folders, just a little larger in size folders and on magnetic vent sheets inside the folders too. Some of the ones that match stamp sets, I put inside the left side of the cover of stamp set box on magnetic vent sheets too, but most of my framelits dies I keep in the folders, on magnetic vent sheets and in a photo box, so that I use them for other things other than just the stamp set itself. Or else Ill forget them in them stamp sets as I have so many stamp sets. LOL Let me know how this turns out for you. God Bless Mary!

      ***** I made a couple of the little embossing folder storage folders the other day and embossed the front of the folder with the folder it contains! I have them in a pretty basket and my thinlet dies are on magnetic 'art bin' sheets at the back of the basket and my embossing folders are in front of them. The dies that match a stamp set are in the DVD case with the stamps. LOVE unmounted stamps! Can't wait to finish this project! Thanks again!

    Hi Dawn, Thank you for the comment. The box I used is plastic and about 9" x 13". You can use whatever box the folders will fit in, but plastic is strong.

    Hi I seem to be getting more and more folders each time I shop online and they are all in the same draw and could do with sorting out. I have seen somewhere to make a little booklet of the folders to keep records of what you have, so you dont duplicate in error. I will make some of the folders you have suggested over the next few days. TFS great idea Ann :o)

      It's been a year since you posted this but I just now stumbled upon it. First video I've seen that gave such clear instructions on how to use the envelope punch board to make tabs! I've been waiting to find 'just the right method' to organize my embossing folders, and this is probably what I'm going to do! Plus a large key ring holding tag samples of each folder to quickly flip through. Thank you! I will use this method for many other things as well!!!

    What a great idea which I'll share... Can you please tell me the dimensions of the box which holds your folders? Can any type of box be used or should it be plastic for strength? Thank you for a great video.. GBU!

      @CraftyandcreativeideasBlogspot  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dawn, Thank you for the comment. The box I used is plastic and about 9" x 13". You can use whatever box the folders will fit in, but plastic is strong.

    Hello again,.. I have one more question on the box.. I found a DVD box by Rubbermaid with book end in it.. the height of the box is 7" will this be tall enough to hold the folders after being made? This box says it will hold 5 x 7" greeting cards.. it's about 18" long x 9" wide and 7" high... As soon as I get my envelope punch board in Aug. I'm making those folders! Thanks for you help, I appreciate it! GBU!

      Hi Dawn, it's so great to hear from you again! It is wonderful when I hear from my viewers. I'm glad to see that you are going to give this folder organizing idea a try. I personally LOVE having my folders this way, and then I just update them all the time when I purchase new ones, It works great for me! You should be fine if the Rubbermaid Box is 7" high, as the folder itself ends up 6" from the top of the tab to the fold point on the folder. The Rubbermaid box being 9" wide also give the 7" wide folders a little play area on the sides which is good too to get your fingers in there if you need to. It sure sounds to me like that box you found will work. Good luck with it and if you have any problems at all, jump over to my blog @craftyandcreativeideas.blogspot.com, and just leave me an email and I'll be happy to help you out on this. Thank you so much for being a faithful viewer and God Bless!

      Hello Sharon... I just thought I'd let you know that I got all my mini folders finished with EF's all in there rightful place.. Sure makes my life easier with this wonderful method of storing embossing folders. I wasn't able to get the box I wanted yet, but those photo boxes you can buy at Michaels work just fine with out the lid..I emailed my sister-in-law this video and she promptly made her mini folders for her tons of EF's.. She has about 200.. lol..
      Thanks again for this video and method.. GBU!
