Hello Patty, thank You, for the helpfully Video. I am Austria, Europe and my language is German. You speak very good and I can all understand. Thanks a lot. Your ideas make my Horizont bigger. I hope you can understand my little English. Have a nice weekend. Best regards Susanne
TFS Patty, These are so cute. I can't tell you how many times I have tried to use the larger size manila file folders and cutting them down to size. Only to never have them come out exactly precise! I am loving this to death. Great Job!
I just received my envelope punch board yesterday in the mail. I have already made a bunch of these little file folder cards........They are so fun and addictive! Thank you for sharing your creativeness!
Oh wow! How neat! I haven't bought one of these envelope boards yet, but have been seriously considering it. Your tutorial just put me over the edge on that decision - I love these little file folders! And you are really a great teacher. You speak clearly and you use normal words and show/explain the details (like saying you line up the edge of the card to the left side of the (punch) opening and "lining up the valley with the groove in your cutter"). Great teacher! Thank you for sharing!
Patty, I came across you, on TH-cam. You have such a great voice for videos! You are very clear in your directions. What a great additional way to use an envelope punch board. So original! Thank you!
Thanks, Patty, for such a clear, concise how-to video using this new tool! I previously watched another video on how to do this but it wasn't as clear as yours. I love file folders and now I know how to make them any size and color I want! Your video is invaluable and so well done! Thank you very much for sharing this idea! (I'm off to my craft room NOW!) ;-)
So far a card I enjoy making the most as endless variations. I like to make to put inside 12x12 double fold cards to give to people so they have various card choices. Grateful for your clear and concise instructions.
I found this video several months ago and had so much fun making and looking at when I see them from time to time. Grateful I found This video again as I am anxious to make again. Thank you so much for this fun card. Your instructions are excellent.
I watched your video this morning, and just LOVE the idea. I don't have an envelope punch board, but have a cricut, so made one that way. Thank you for the great idea :)
I have seen this before but your tutorial is explained well(not rushed through), as well as your lovely designed cards you displayed for everyone! TYFS!
So sad that they retired the punch board. When I was in Florida at SU convention I found a mini punch board to go along with the bigger one. Even though this tutorial is at least 3 years old, its good to go back and pick up tips. Good use for washi tape too. Thanks for your fun ideas, then and now. --Sandi
Thank you Patty. This was so inspiring. Can't wait to get home tonight to see what I can come up with. Good grief, it's so overwhelming the things this little baby can do. I'm LOVING it!! :-)
Hi, Patty! Just came across this idea and am SO HAPPY I DID! I LOVE THIS IDEA! I always appreciate it when I can get more uses from my “tools” and this is DEFINITELY doable with such a COOL DESIGN! Love, too, that lots of those “DSP Scraps” can be incorporated in the cards as well! CUTE, CUTE, CUTE~~~AND DIFFERENT! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Enjoy your day! :-))
I love these…..so cute!!! Patty, good thing you and I live at opposites end of the country because if we lived close and could visit Staples together, we would be in big trouble!!
Hi Patty, thank you so much for this video. I love it and it gave me such great ideas how to explore more than just envelopes with my recently purchased punch board. Thank's!
Sorry, no written instructions on my blog but i hope this helps... i used the "notecards" which measure 3-1/2"x5", I added the Chevron pattern (from the Tag a Bag Bags), cut about 1/2" off the front, punch the top as shown in the video, then seal the sides shut with Sticky Strip.
Hello Patty, thanks for your heartwarming words. I wish you and your Familie a great Independence Day. Have fun and be health. Best wishes SUSANNE 🌺🙋♀️
Hi Patty, Like your videos very much. Your a good teacher and I like your voice. I'm looking forward to my 1st convention, It will be my birthday also. Thanks for all your videos, I watched many.. Take Care
Great idea!! Do we need to flip it over and create another tab? I was going to use these "folders" to emboss them, and put in my embossing folders for filing and storage. Do I need the 2nd tab on the back?
Totally your choice :) At about the 4-1/2 minute mark in the video I show you how to flip it over to punch from the other side :) You don't HAVE to have a 2nd tab on the back.. just leave it plain or round the corners.. :)
