To divide your pieces up equally, do a 2.125 in. gap between the 4 columns, and a 1.375 in. gap (don’t ask me how I found this) between the 8 rows. You’re welcome

Hello! Thank you for the lovely video! Instead of hairspray, what do you think of the matte paper spray? Usually sprayed over paintings and stuff to keep it lasting a bit longer.
So inverted helps make a more circular extended form also can u make tutorial of the ones where u connect just one pocket and some that u dont connect no pockets at all
Hello! I was thinking of buying paper and was wondering what size you use for your older models like the swan#2 and large peacock. By the way your models are so amazing, whenever I show a video to a friend they're all amazed!
Hi, I'm happy you and your friends enjoy the tutorials! Regarding the paper - there are links in the description. Just make sure to click the link according to the country you are in.
Thanks for responding! I had one more question though. I was looking at the US paper at you link and saw that it did not have the measurements of a piece of A4 paper and was wondering if it mattered.
Unfortunately, the standard paper in the US is not A4 and is harder to come by with good quality. That is not that important, the pieces will be slightly different in size but that is nothing to worry about. What is important is that all the pieces are the same size. Hope this helps!
not being very dextrous with myhands I find it hard to fold the small corners over so I just use scissors & cut them off this saves me time messing about trying to fold them
Ik I’m so late, but I calculated it out. Couldn’t find anywhere. Based on A4 8.25x11.75” (210x297 cm): - 1/32 pieces measure 1.46x2.08” (3.71x5.25 cm) - 1/64 pieces measure 1.03x1.46” (2.6x3.71cm) In the US, A4 paper is 8.5x11”, but most origami guides seem to be using the first measurement. So idk which one this TH-camr uses - hopefully doesn’t matter much.
Ik I'm very late to answer this but when he folded it twice horizontally to make 1/32 pieces, there was a note in brackets underneath saying to fold I three times to get 1/64 pieces
Aww, thx for the tip!! After I saw this video, I tried another model (just a flat one before i try more ambitious models) and it was a watermelon, and i put a couple of layers, and it worked!!
It's fun to watch but i can't make them when i do make then they are just not good enough. And it takes so long to make for the beginner swan you need 317 pieces.

Haven't really tried to be honest, but I think it will work better than the hairspray(cheaper option).
Reminds me a lot of amigurumi chochet, the logic is the same ❤
Thank you ❤❤

What are the measurements for the individual piece (for if we don't use paper suggested)?

Hi - How do you make 1/64 pieces? Do you just fold it in until you have 64 sections instead of 32? Thanks.
Ik I'm very late to answer this but when he folded it twice horizontally to make 1/32 pieces, there was a note in brackets underneath saying to fold I three times to get 1/64 pieces

What am I doing wrong?? Whenever I try to make the base, it's always super flimsy and falls apart. What should I do to fix this??
Hello, try glueing the pieces to make the model last longer, if you don't want to do that try adding a 3rd row on top to make the base more stable.
Aww, thx for the tip!! After I saw this video, I tried another model (just a flat one before i try more ambitious models) and it was a watermelon, and i put a couple of layers, and it worked!!
