Mga missionaries yun nagsalita ng kultura ng mga pinoy. Malamang kilala sila at walang magtanka na nakawin kung anong gamit sa kanila. At karamihan ng lugar na pinuntahan ay probinsya kaya mga matino ang tao doon. Totoo naman na dapat mag ingat sa gamit dahil maraming snatcher at budolbudol kung nasa city proper na maraming tao.

Filipino will say "Doon oh! (while snouting)" 😙

Yea very detailed answer just for someone asking a direction legit filipino sometimes if they have much time they will accompanied you and show you the right way
The good thing about that is that you can already visualize the direction of where you should go just by listening and looking in the hands of the person you are asking for direction.

When I was in a different Province asking the way to enter in isolated barrio the farmers uses trees, like mango trees, coconut trees and waiting shed because nothing else you can see in the barrio but plain rice field and rivers 😀 and few houses

Hand gestures are quite common among Latins especially among Italians. I think that's what we got from the Spaniards. Among Asians only us Filipinos have the penchant for hand gestures.
