    Here in our country, teachers would cross ocean, climb mountains everyday just to reach children to teach in remote areas where there is no school buildings. They teach the children under a tree or a canopy. And they even spend their own salaries for the children's school supplies. That's how dedicated they are.

      When you take away God in the school system .. the school system itself will be corrupted even more... Anything that is Good comes from God... taking out God in the system will result to be chaos... and it will be a menace to the society to produce children without respect to their parents, to their teachers, ti their government andd country, and produce evil people that have to be self destructive.... in itself...

    Filipinos in general seem to be much more tolerant of foreign cultures. I am retired in the Philippines and have found Filipinos to be the most friendly people I have ever met. The amount of aid a teacher can give their family in the Philippines is life changing to the current and future generations. Filipinos are not selfish. Usually a family receiving money from relatives in the USA, spread the wealth throughout the neighborhood.

    It was all started when a vessel that carried the thomasites, a group of American teachers disembarked in our Philippine Islands to teach the inhabitants their language and culture as part of American Colonization we had gotten the educational system that those pioneering American teachers imparted to us. Now it's time for Filipinos to be recognized as worthy and able teachers to give back to the Americans that kind of education being shared to them from the beginning.

    Filipino teachers are actually great, great in patience, creativity, and passion especially if they feel being challenged they will give their heart out. It just that here in our own country, we can't do that due to its dumb system, if only we let teachers do their own craft inside the classroom there will be changes in the learning. Praying that our education here will revive too.

      To Deborah Rock: This G.M.R.C., is it an acronym for Good Manners & Right Conduct? I remember taking that while in grade school in Project 6, Quezon City in Manila, Philippines back in the early & the mid-1960s. Then I lived most of my life in the U.S.A. I tutored part-time in English when I was in Hong Kong from 2010 through 2013 at three English learning centers. G.M.R.C. should be made mandatory in grade school here in the U.S.A.

    To say that Filipino teachers are exported to work regionally and internationally is a testament of their dedication and professionalism.
    The USA recently caught up with this trend whilst the rest of the the world already have employed their services for years. China too with its insatiable appetite to learn English are requesting the Philippines to provide educators to consider teaching there.
    So what’s new? Globally the Philippines exports OFW talents such as engineers, doctors, nurses, construction workers, skilled & semi-skilled, nannies and Domestic Helpers and educators.
    The downtrend are that the country may experience a brain drain but it seems not happening and being replenished.

    you know why Filipino teachers can be in-demand in other countries especially those English speaking coutries. It is because they speak, read, write and compute in English language. as to their dedication, I think all teachers in the world should be dedicated because without it they can not teach efficiently their pupils or students. in the Philippines teachers in the rural areas learn to be very initiative and must improvised on their teaching materials and tools because they lack materials; in fact they have to use their own money to produce their materials. Necessity is really the mother of invention. Teachers here must be inventive in their ways and means in their visual materials and other necessities which the government could not provide.

    • @e.b.7784
      @e.b.7784 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      True, Filipino teachers are very innovative, most especially those teachers who are assigned in far flung villages, lack of school devices so they must invent these materials for the class.
