This is Berghain. Located in Berlin, Germany, it is the most exclusive nightclub in the world.
The doors open midnight on Saturday and the party lasts until midday Monday.
Up to 500 people line up every Sunday waiting silently for their chance to get in.
There is only one way to get in, have good vibes. Their bouncer, this face-tattooed man, will either usher you in or say just one word “nein” - and once he says that your chance of getting in that night are zero.
The club’s rejection rate is so high that there is even a website BerghainTrainer which helps people prepare for their arrival.
Even Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, was reportedly denied entry into the club.

I had a cousin who worked at studio 54 in the eighties. Never went there even though I could have without waiting in line. Lived down the block from CBGBs. Never went there either. Is there something at Berghain that would make me go to Berlin and wait three hours just to get rejected which I almost certainly would because I'm old now.

The club is less about having "good vibes" and more about having "fitting vibes". The club is known for being based on the edgy Berlin clubbing scene of the 90s and many people are actually rejected for not being "depressed" enough

@@GamingAndChill as far as I know, it's mainly just edgy. It's constructed in a special way so that all the areas are connected with many different ways, the ceiling is very high and the dj isn't on a stage but on the same height as the crowd. There's also a hidden area where you can have gay sex
@@GamingAndChill It really depends on if you think loud music, drugs and open displays of sexual degeneracy is cool or not. What you do or don't like to experience is subjective. Pretty much any club you go to is aiming to trigger some sort of stimulation from it's inhabitants, so it's really about what you are comfortable with and what vibes you're drawn to.
That said, it seems like another club trying to be "unique".

See, going to Berghain is not about going to this “exclusive and different new club”, people that go there for the music will usually have the best night of their lives.
Ppl need to realize that this club is for a specific demographic/personality. It's not meant to be inclusive and ppl need to accept that as well.

i was there, the vibe is unreal, its like you enter a different dimension. Dark, Idustrial, serious, scary, very ecxiting... it reminds me a bit of a Party you would see in a Science fiction movie. I never experienced such unique atmosphere in a club. (besides Kitkat) People are interesting, different and beautiful/friendly. Even some Girls dance Naked because they feel so free and unjudged. Basically everybody is Enjoying LIFE, THE MOMENT, themselfes, Sexuality and Music at the same time and nobody will judge you! because everyone there has an open mind. Free Spirits like i want to say. Its a very special place, thats why the doors are so hard because alot of people dont have the mindset to Enjoy parties like this or they come as a tourist to be entertaint by People who express themselfes. Its Easy to get in, if you Feel the Vibe and Live the Vibe! Berlin has alot of clubs with similar vibes but berghain is pretty "dark" in generall. Berlin is different, Its like the Red or Blue Pill from Matrix or like a hughe Mirror, some people like to see who they really are and some People dont or are scared of it.
That is so cool! I've always wanted to go but never had a chance to visit Berlin

Just tell me that you’re not a Berliner without telling me! Berghain doesn’t feel like the Real Berlin. And the Real Berlin Vibe was before 1999. If the Club Tresor is telling you something, then you know what I mean.
I reckon there was also a super arrogand "don't look others in their face" vibe. A trance party in Copenhagen last November was the best club vibe my life.

I’m not standing in line for two hours just to get judged by nobody…
10.000 people x week attempted to get in and the capacity inside is around 2000 people. Consider all the residents berliners that goes weekly there ..of course they have to say no to many people..Best chance to get in for tourists is Saturday night,if you don't want stay in line go after 6/8 in the morning. Dressing black it's important but not needed ..and most of all you should accept diversity and love the music they play inside. I've been there for years nearly every weekend,I'd great great time
I feel like the more high profile you are (like Musk) the more likely you are to be rejected. That way the club can say "YEAH WE EVEN REJECTED ELON MUSK"

Somebody whos workin there told me they wouldve let him in but he wanted his bodyguards with him. So they denied him entry.

Ultimately, Berghain is for gay guys who love techno and are into kink, if you don't fit that mold, don't even bother going there, even if you get past the bouncers you won't like what's inside AT ALL.
And Musk certainly wouldn't have liked anything that goes on inside Berghain, it's not for him or people like him, the bouncers aren't judging you as a human being, they're judging whether you belong there or not and won't be shocked by what's going on inside.
Musk doesn't fit that mold, so he'd naturally get rejected, has nothing to do with money though.

A 40 year old Berlin born and bred man told me the key points they are looking for is safety for people so no one that starts fights when on the piss/drugs, and authenticity in their style. They also try keep the genders roughly the same so for every 2 ladies theyll pop in 2 gents, for every they them theyll pop in another they them, so apparently its not as deep as everyone says. The more you overthink it the more likely you are to be NEIN’ed
The quota part is a lie, Berghain is a gay club, there's far more boys in there than girls, and that is by design.
They do allow women in but it's by no means an equal measure. Usually in OTHER clubs it is an equal measure so maybe he was mixing up Berghain with another place?
I see it the other way round, overpriced fancy bling bling clubs with abnormal entry fees are the exclusive ones, if ur not rich enough, ur out. Also misinformation, the bouncer shift switches every eight hours, so you can try many times per weekend (don’t spread the word ;) )

I was just in Berlin and I met the girl there. We decided to go to club and to Berghain on Sunday evening around at 10 pm. We entered really easily, even we didn’t have whole black techno clothes on us. do not exaggerate!

It's easy to enter on Sunday, and on specific time of the day, but harder on saturday evening, when the queue is long

To elaborate a bit; its history and its aura surrounding it simply add to its mystique. I’ve heard that the sets are crazy and the people crazier. Tbf if you have to ask “will I get into Berghain” chances are no. Berlin club scene follows a strict no judgement policy, and anyone who breaks that “vibe” shouldn’t really be let in.
