Thank you so much for this video...I followed it step by step and was able to convert almost 3000 parts to non-inventory parts. It was so easy and the trick with the Note is genius and now my client thinks I am awesome since all these parts were originally imported incorrectly by another accountant so I was able to solve their problem. Thank you again for you awesome videos.
Hi Hector, Thank you for the many many amazing and super helpful videos. Is there a way to batch edit invoices in order to replace an inventory item with a non inventory item after a specified date? (QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise) Zeroing the negative inventory is not an option because of the effects that it will have on everything else. Thank you!
Hi Hector, Thank you for this video. I have over 2680 inventory parts that I just used your process to change to non-inventory parts. Something went wrong and I don't want to use my last backup if I don't have to. Is there an easy way to find out what went wrong? My inactive description does not match the new active non-inventory part description. Please HELP Thank you so much!
There is no log for what went wrong. You probably didnt sort correctly and/or double-checked that the items aligned correctly. You are going to have to use the backup
Hi Hector Garcia. I want to work as a freelancer on upwork. I want to know that whether your course of quickbooks online version is the right fit for that or do I have to have more kind of like expertise level skills set to be able to work as a freelancer? Thanks.
@@HectorGarciaCPA When I try to copy and past like in your demo it only past in the first box and will not do anything else. And when I try to import excel file I get the following: "The excel file you are trying to import is not a Quickbooks supplied templet" This is when I am trying to create the Non Inventory Parts List

Are you based out of USA?
@@HectorGarciaCPA I am from Pakistan Sir.
I have learned so much watching this video. What do you do when you have more than 30 characters in the new name?
You need to shorten the name
Which column do I shorten it in? If it is in the new column I made, it won't let me change it because the formula =A2&"**" is there.@@HectorGarciaCPA
Any idea what column I am supposed to change?
Do you have to be in admin to be able to post the whole list from excel into QB?
Yes to import yes
@@HectorGarciaCPA it is still not working, do you have to be in single user?
not working in single user either. is there something I am doing wrong
@@ricklepe7314 what error message are you getting?
