A little over 4 years since this songs release and it's still the best release on this label. Literally this song is just so perfect. It's mixed/mastered with such care, hasn't aged badly like a decent amount of 2013 releases have. The sound design is still phenomenal and no artists can come close to copying it. In 2018 where a lot of dubstep/drumstep is saturated by the same samples and sound packs and structure, i can't help but constantly keep listening to old songs like this more than modern stuff

I am sick. Headache. The school is celebrating a party called 'sinterklaas(thats in holland) and i felt sad because i am not there but then i heard this song and i gave me a boost. This makes me think of a racing car engine working with nitro, like those epic animations where it shows you the engie progression, combustion, nitro combustion, the transmission gears, Etc. And yeah, i know it's strange, but trust me, once you imagine it, it makes sense lol

Au5 and Fractal have shown us that they excel in all genres, but the duo really comes to life when they produce drumstep, similarly to Halcyon, one of my favorite songs. The Garret Production Monstercat has been shaped into a label located in Canada. They announced #Reunion2014 last year, but they still haven't announced where they will be on this tour or whom will be there (as in producers). It was up to fans to vote for locations of the concert (cities and stuff). As far as I know, I THINK that this was all taking place in the US, except for like, 3 concerts. So, only producers from Canada and US can be on this tour.
theYerrowFerrow UKF and Monstercat are pretty similar (in my opinion), Monstercat promotes a wider range of genres but they essentially do the same thing, release an artists' new track.
It's ridiculous how every track by Au5 and Fractal on here are in the "great" to "freaking legendary" range. They're definitely up there as some of the very best artists on Monstercat right now. It'll be interesting to see how they pull off house on Friday though :P

In turn,Cyan is an offshoot colour of Blue,and it also represents the other genre,Nu Disco. Since Televisor only really works in the Nu Disco field,a song by them called Red,would be the exact opposite to this,and seemingly,a challenge.
Speaking of Televisor,I heard recently that they teased a collaboration with SplitBreed. Nothing was shown,but they hinted at the fact that it's happening at some point. (That matchup is something I just can't comprehend at this point. ._. )

What a great Drumstep. I play many musical instruments and learned the basic beat on the drums including the bass drum, snare and hi hat. This is either my 1st or 2nd Favorite Monstercat Release ever. Very very happy with this. CRANK IT TO 11 :D
***** to be specific and technical the "ducking" he's referring to is known as sidechain compression where an instruments sound wave acts as a trigger for an effect known as compression. The most widely known, and often heard, example of compression is when a radio Dj starts talking over the song that is ending, and as he speaks his volume is increased and the music's is decreased. Listen for it, and watch it in the waveform, you'll see how when the bass hits the whole spectrum lowers to meet it so that the kick rolls over it like a wave. =)
sidechain compression was first used in trance music actually...the kick drums would compress the strings/pads and give the trademark ooms, ooms, ooms sound a bouncy feel. if you guys need to learn this technique, just search for "sidechain compression"
