Tracking Hurricane Milton: Wind reports, potential impacts

Hurricane Milton has slightly weakened to a Category 3 storm as it approaches Florida's Gulf Coast, the National Hurricane Center said.
Milton came on the scene on Saturday as a tropical storm. Early Monday morning, Milton kicked off a rapid intensification starting as a Category 2 storm. It had waffled between Category 4 and 5 strength since Tuesday.

Hi Colleen, watch out the back side of the eye of the storm cause those are the stronger winds, during cat 3 Wilma here in MIami in 2005 that side was the killer for us, and unfortunately we got them around 2 am, those130 mph winds devastated my apartment complex, it blew off 30 percent of the roofs from our almost 300 units, rgs
