I'm a 64 year old rocker and I love this band. Found them in January and I haven't stopped listening .They have a treasure trove of awesome music. Their entire history is on TH-cam it's quite interesting. Watch their Metallica cover when they were kids. They also have their own version. Watch the teatro metropolitan version it'll blow you away. Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Foo fighters, Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace, and Guns ‘n Roses. Earlier this year they did four shows with Muse in Mexico and finished 18 shows on the first US leg of their world tour. They then did concerts throughout Europe including opening for Muse five times in the UK and France. Many of these had 30-60 thousand fans in attendance. They recently completed the second leg of their US tour and played at the Mtv VMAs. They will open for Guns N’ Roses tonight and also have shows planned in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, for the Fall. In February of 2024 they will play Shiprock, a rock cruise, and in August 2024 they will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany. All three are classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals; but Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. But later they all graduated high school through home schooling due to their touring schedule. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They started as a cover band. Their cover of Enter Sandman launched their career. They now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single, More, was released May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. Any video from last August’s concert at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City is gold! When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. best live band I've ever experienced and best rock band on the planet right now. i had not been to a live concert since the early 2000s. I've seen these amazing young women 5 times in the last year and a half. just amazing. and the best thing is that they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. they work very hard for their fans to the point it feels like being part of the family. and the best fan base in the world. i would suggest a live song next. everything from the teatro metropolitan concert is amazing. maybe Disciple next. or you could react to the live version of Choke so you can see the difference.

I like observant reactors. - Yes, Ms. Lulu, they started as kids on classical piano more than a decade back. Dany, the eldest, plays guitars, piano/keys & sax. Pau, the middle sister, plays drums & piano/keys. Ale, the youngest, is on bass, piano/keys & sax. - Although Pau is their main composer & songwriter on her piano, Choke is Dany's inspiration. During the composition Pau was unsure whether Dany could hit that high note or not. And she provided a mid range option just like you opined, John. However Dany insisted and here we have a classic song about despair & desolation. Choke was my initiation to this addiction called The Warning. After a long time a band is saying something substantial consistently. Their profound metaphorical takes on today's society is a throwback to the intelligence of classic rock in 70s, 80s. Intellectualism is back again thanks to the Villarreal sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. Take Choke for example. Most bands will ask for help as they struggle to stay afloat in a bottomless pit of despair. But these girls are different. They are insisting on drowning & choking to death. The Warning is the greatest rabbit hole you'll ever go down. Their music videos are all awesome. HOWEVER! Their live performances are on a whole 'nother level. How about a rock band better live than recorded? They've posted a number of tracks from their concert at Teátro Metropolitan in Mexico City last year and every single one of them will blow your mind. As a general rule of thumb, the most recent professionally recorded live version of any of their songs is the best (better than the studio version). So VMA for Evolve and More, Teatro Metropolitan for everything else on that set list, and so forth. Their parents did not direct them which instruments to play beyond starting them all on piano around age 5 or so, but they were always interested in music from very young ages.
Started performing live when they 8, 10 and 13, two years later quit doing covers to concentrate on original music. By the time the youngest was 11 they had released their first album and award earning video independently XXI Century Blood, the song that drug me down the rabbit hole. They are close to fifty original songs already and pretty much blew the doors off the crowd on the VMA side stage this year and will make their first appearance at Wacken next year. Personally they are the band I listen to the most, not sure why something about their music, lyrics or arrangements always seems fresh. They came up the old school way playing anyplace that would let them, raising their own funds to record and release albums, people seem to make the mistake because they are so young they didn't take the long road they have been around a long time. Covid killed their first real tour off which was Queen of the Murder Scene their second Independent album.
Check out their live stuff. Even better. Anything from the teatro performance or even the 2 songs they did live at the MTV VMAs a few days ago. They are on the verge of blowing up. Get in now! Also you should go back to where it started…them playing metallicas enter sandman ages 9-14.

This is a deep rabbit hole very worth diving into - you won't be disappointed if you do. They are fantastic, as is their back story. Any of the songs they do in their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert are all worth taking in. If you're fans of Metallica please treat yourselves to their rendition of Enter Sandman - their music video with Alyssia Cara is my favorite.

You guys have to react to Nemophila. They are the best current all-female band in my opinion. I would say check out "Adabana". Or "Dissension" which is their heaviest song. And if you wanna see them live they recently put out a video of them playing "Oiran" live. You guys won't be disappointed.

The idea of becoming a rock band started for them with the video game “Rock Band”. Dany always played the guitar and Pau always played the drums. Ale was only 3 at the time so she just watched and clapped. They loved the game so much they asked their parents if they could learn the real instruments. When Ale was old enough they let her pick an instrument. She 1st picked the Harp. But they had trouble finding a local teacher and a harp. So she had to pick again and saw a bass and picked that. They all are also classically trained on piano as well. Dany and Ale also can play the Saxophone.
@@beadnut Metal has so many sub genres nowadays it's hard to keep track but the Warning does have that 80's hair metal sound going on sometimes. I think they bend various forms of rock, metal and punk to their songs as they see fit.

- Yes, Ms. Lulu, they started as kids on classical piano more than a decade back. Dany, the eldest, plays guitars, piano/keys & sax. Pau, the middle sister, plays drums & piano/keys. Ale, the youngest, is on bass, piano/keys & sax.
- Although Pau is their main composer & songwriter on her piano, Choke is Dany's inspiration. During the composition Pau was unsure whether Dany could hit that high note or not. And she provided a mid range option just like you opined, John. However Dany insisted and here we have a classic song about despair & desolation.
Choke was my initiation to this addiction called The Warning. After a long time a band is saying something substantial consistently. Their profound metaphorical takes on today's society is a throwback to the intelligence of classic rock in 70s, 80s. Intellectualism is back again thanks to the Villarreal sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
Take Choke for example. Most bands will ask for help as they struggle to stay afloat in a bottomless pit of despair. But these girls are different. They are insisting on drowning & choking to death.

The Warning is the greatest rabbit hole you'll ever go down. Their music videos are all awesome. HOWEVER! Their live performances are on a whole 'nother level. How about a rock band better live than recorded? They've posted a number of tracks from their concert at Teátro Metropolitan in Mexico City last year and every single one of them will blow your mind. As a general rule of thumb, the most recent professionally recorded live version of any of their songs is the best (better than the studio version). So VMA for Evolve and More, Teatro Metropolitan for everything else on that set list, and so forth.
Their parents did not direct them which instruments to play beyond starting them all on piano around age 5 or so, but they were always interested in music from very young ages.

Started performing live when they 8, 10 and 13, two years later quit doing covers to concentrate on original music. By the time the youngest was 11 they had released their first album and award earning video independently XXI Century Blood, the song that drug me down the rabbit hole. They are close to fifty original songs already and pretty much blew the doors off the crowd on the VMA side stage this year and will make their first appearance at Wacken next year. Personally they are the band I listen to the most, not sure why something about their music, lyrics or arrangements always seems fresh. They came up the old school way playing anyplace that would let them, raising their own funds to record and release albums, people seem to make the mistake because they are so young they didn't take the long road they have been around a long time. Covid killed their first real tour off which was Queen of the Murder Scene their second Independent album.
Check out their live stuff. Even better. Anything from the teatro performance or even the 2 songs they did live at the MTV VMAs a few days ago. They are on the verge of blowing up. Get in now! Also you should go back to where it started…them playing metallicas enter sandman ages 9-14.

This is a deep rabbit hole very worth diving into - you won't be disappointed if you do. They are fantastic, as is their back story. Any of the songs they do in their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert are all worth taking in. If you're fans of Metallica please treat yourselves to their rendition of Enter Sandman - their music video with Alyssia Cara is my favorite.

I love these Sisters ❤️🔥🙌🏽🔥…I believe that’s the mom in the film clips in the water. This is WHY they’re so beautiful. I love their songs in Spanish too. If you can please react to their lyrical video of the Revenant…it sung by the drummer and the others harmonize in the background. Yes, the drummer plays other instruments and writes the music 🎼 too. You guys have to react to Nemophila. They are the best current all-female band in my opinion. I would say check out "Adabana". Or "Dissension" which is their heaviest song. And if you wanna see them live they recently put out a video of them playing "Oiran" live. You guys won't be disappointed.

The idea of becoming a rock band started for them with the video game “Rock Band”. Dany always played the guitar and Pau always played the drums. Ale was only 3 at the time so she just watched and clapped. They loved the game so much they asked their parents if they could learn the real instruments. When Ale was old enough they let her pick an instrument. She 1st picked the Harp. But they had trouble finding a local teacher and a harp. So she had to pick again and saw a bass and picked that.
They all are also classically trained on piano as well. Dany and Ale also can play the Saxophone.
I highly recommend reacting to BOTH of their performances at the 2023 VMAs. They absolutely killed it on both of them, live!

@@beadnut Metal has so many sub genres nowadays it's hard to keep track but the Warning does have that 80's hair metal sound going on sometimes. I think they bend various forms of rock, metal and punk to their songs as they see fit.
