Did anyone else feel that feeling of nostalgia watching Michelle. When TH-cam was a platform for people who did what they truly loved not doing stuff for views and money.
the reason why she stopped being so active on youtube is because she learn so much about growing and just being real, something that being on the screen took away from her. But, she will always remain as the legendary michelle phan, who started everything for youtube, really. so grateful that she's a part of my teenage years! ❤️
I remembered when a page called gossip guru kept attacking her about her cyberbullying a teen. Even in her youtube, the comments were really harsh. I asked the ones writing the mean comments. "Aren't you also cyberbullying right now?" But they couldn't accept what I had said. And some shitty music company kept wanting tu sue her because she stole their songs to be put into her videos when the original composer didn't even mind. I'm really glad she quit before it makes her even more depressed but at the same time I was sad. I grew up liking makeup because of her. I learned how to draw my eyebrows properly from her. But looking at her ig now, she seems happier. I will never forget how calming and cute her videos were
She has a unique style when it comes to filming and sharing her techniques. Not that others aren’t good but the Michelle Phan way engages you and you feel like a friend is speaking to you and you totally value this friendship and learning from her.

She looks way better and SO MUCH more relaxed after leaving YT. Which just goes to show what a bunch of toxic, energy-sucking haters there were who were watching her, insulting her family, her products, stressing her out with their mean comments, and basically pressuring her to a corner. Like it's happening to so many gurus now, she really lost herself on youtube. I'm so happy to see her being herself now, and I can see why she felt it right to leave. I can see why anyone would leave. I would like to think that she saved herself before it was too late, and as I watch beauty vids nowadays, I worry for the gurus who wear themselves out completely without some shut-down time to themselves, and they put all of their lives online. Self-care and some privacy is really important and it's good she was aware and is still aware. The difference is truly jarring.
I started watching Michelle Phan at 13 years old, I'm now 22. She taught me most of what I know and changed my life! She's such a positive role model and always has been.

There's just something about you Michelle Phan that makes me feel like I'm at home! You're the first beauty guru I watched back in 2006/2007 when I was just a teenager! Good times, it' s good to see you back! We missed you! :)
I really like the fact that you recognized that foundation was causing you to not like your skin and to develop a type of dysmorphia. I wish more girls/women would come to that realization because I see this so much. We can develop a false sense of beauty and depend on these products to make us feel and look beautiful all the while we’re loving ourselves as we are, less and less. I used to love makeup and and now I barely use lipstick. I started doing the things that I wanted makeup to do for me. For example: I wanted clear skin but instead of using foundation, I started taking better care of my skin and clearing it up.
Tyari I agree with you 100%! I went through the exact same journey as you. I’m so happy that you feel more comfortable in your own skin because it really is the best feeling after spending so long trying to cover up ‘imperfections’. Lots of love to you!
For me when I use oftenly foundation skin becomes worse, pores can become bigger, more acne and just I think foundation should be used only during holidays or important events 😂
I went through the same journey as both of you for so many years. As someone with both rosacea, eczema and hormonal acne it was hell to clear up my skin. Being pale doesn’t help either because the least amount of redness is extremely noticeable. Now I finally feel good waking up and doing my skincare. Walking out the door with no makeup on. Started using actives and dropped the makeup, my skin did a 360.
@@mcd4370 Thanks so much for sharing your journey! That’s wonderful!!! My skin is super sensitive too and wearing face makeup broke me out and acne so bad it was embarrassing. I’m so happy to have been able to get on the right track as far as taking care of my skin. I’m glad that you are embracing your natural beauty more too. I can’t stand the thought of smothering my face in cosmetics 😖
@@moonlit_child Omg I was trying to stop myself from crying but then I realized that's not honoring myself lol. Let's all cry happy tears because Michelle looks so calm, healthy, and confident.
I didn’t realize how ahead of her time she was until I went back and watched some of her videos and saw hacks that beauty influencers are just now catching on to. I think it’s been a blessing to grow up with her as well as watch her mature from a youtuber into a business woman. I’m so glad she’s doing well and focusing on what keeps her inspired.
You don't watch a Michelle Phan video and not learn anything! Also, I totally agree with her in regard to foundation & makeup overall. I've been investing more on skin care for half a year now and I'm so blown away with how much better my skin is and how much more confident I feel without makeup. The only time I ever wear foundation now is for special events
THIS! skincare is truly what you should've invest more than makeup! my goals is to be confident with my bare skin and having clear skin, i know it's hard but i'll try
I grew up with Michelle Phan videos and I'll never forget what a light she brought to this community. I love you Michelle. Thanks for teaching me so much. X
remember that time when youtube was ruled by the likes of michelle phan? when youtube was all into tutorials, sharing knowhow, and just fun. i miss those days. now it's all about what's new, what to buy. youtubers have become puppets for large cosmetics companies and such. encouraging viewers to buy buy buy; letting viewers believe they need 50 highlighter or 75 blushes, almost pushing the products down viewers' throats. youtube itself capitalizes on all the drama.
pink elephants and lemonades I know what u mean! I hate that feeling of “ I need it” just to buy it and not use it , to then see a nother you tuber swear by another product that “ I so called need too”
That was kinda a lie. She did threw shade and made fun of others on social media in the past but she deleted it once people point it out. There was a reason she deleted her Xanga and past social media accounts. But I think she grew up and learn from it.
Lush Life I’m still subbed to bubzbeauty and bubzvlogz.. can’t stand the absolutely bullshit of teenagers like james Charles etc etc. I’ve grown with Michelle and bubz so I can’t relate to the drama. I miss old TH-cam
Bubz is back! And about to launch makeup brushes again and a few makeup products. Michelle has made an appearance in Promise Phan’s videos recently too. Talk about breath of fresh air!!
She was my very first beauty guru back in 2012. And I think she was the first to many others as well. She taught us that beauty can be inexpensive and creativity knows no bound. Such a sensitive soul and nurturing mind. Love you.
Michelle is TH-cam's Oprah. One of a kind, graceful and the best kind of hermit. I wish we could see more of her but she knows what's best for her and I admire that greatly.
Her voice is so nostalgic and soothing. It takes me back to being in high school and watching her. All current makeup youtubers should thank Michelle. She definitely paved the way
She is the original, the queen of the yt beauty community. Her reviews, the way she talks about makeup and other beauty products is so genuine, with scientific explanations, not just "this is so pretty".
OMG!!!! I’m a nurse and I work nights and I wear a sleeping mask at work!! 🌈 The hospital is freezing cold and has ZERO humidity so it’s like a desert! Several nurses started being the creams to work and I noticed a difference in their skin and was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?? They told me about the sleeping mask and I jumped on board. It has turned my skin around completely 🌈🧼💝💗🧴🍭🍑
This video was just so much more informative than the other celebrity routines. Michelle is literally bringing us into her world by sharing her thought process into why she’s set into her routine, unlike the other celebrities that are just doing what makeup artists/dermatologists tell them to. Michelle just gives me the sense that she’s researched well into her own skin. She has so much commitment into her skin regimen and I can tell she’s really genuine. This was amazing!
isa lol calm tf down, I was not shaming someone who can afford high end or luxury products. My point is there still drugstore products that works without spending too much.
Its very hard for me to watch an entire 11 min video without skipping. This video however, featuring my favorite youtuber of all time, I had no problem with it. Every second was enjoyble, relaxing and informative. Only Michelle in my opinion can manage that. So natrual in her way of talking, she truly is a pro and an original youtuber. I have watched all her videos at least four times. I am truly greatful I got to be apart of the golden days with her and her vidos. Thank you!
Madeleine Håkansson Exactly! I’m way too impatient to watch a 11 minute video without a skip. Or I’d get distracted and read the comments. This one though-it feels like I’m seeing my best friend after years, if that makes sense? You don’t want to miss a second of it. It’s like a warm reunion. ❤️
The « What if I stopped wearing foundation part » was the 1 minute TED talk I did not know I needed thanks Michelle ! And Harper’s Bazar for making this video happen
Im 34 and recently i decided to go foundation free and going lighter on makeup in general. I noticed I was becoming too dependent on makeup to the point i was so insecure without it and i didnt like that. I have been investing on better skincare and my skin is looking so much better and im so much more confident because its my skin not a mask im wearing. I still love makeup but in a new way.
She had a mental break a few years ago and quit yt. She only wears lipstick and eyebrow makeup (and maybe light foundation). She's focusing on herself and selling her makeup brand
Jane Fehr Right! I hate it when people leave their hair down doing makeup or skincare and then foundation gets in their hair or they wash their face with a string of hair on their cheek 😣
I love these videos but half the time the models really don't seem to know anything about skincare or ingredients or the order to use them, they just slap a bunch of dior and lancome skincare on... Michelle seems so knowledgable and respects the process. This was great, I've missed her ❤️
9:22 “it’s all mental” YES that is key to realize. Even all the flaws she talks about with aging are probably just more pronounced to her because of how we think we’re supposed to look at a certain age. She looks young cuz she is still young goddamit!
Scrolling up youtube , then youtube recommend this video.. when i saw MICHELLE PHAN’s name written on the title , straight away click the video.. then i realized , how i miss the moments back then when i was in early 20’s..she taught me how to use natural ingredients to DIY my skincare regimes.. she taught me how to do a makeup.. and i can still remember how soft was her voice in all the videos like whispering to you.. kinda good ASMR for me tho.. MICHELLE PHAN is the queen and really inspiring me to be a better person 😘
I’m so excited to see her again 😭 I used to watch her videos in middle school (I’m 22 and a college grad now) and she was my favorite TH-camr. Her videos were so relaxing and sometimes I used to fall asleep while watching them.
I'll be selfish for a moment and say I miss Michelle and wish she would make content again. Now that's out of the way, I'm glad to see her happy, and for those of you who don't know she's still active on Instagram and yes, she still makes makeup, just not videos. Love you Michelle ❤
jac lyn Even though she’s not on her old channel, you should keep up with her on her channel for her makeup line, em cosmetics. When I found it, it was so nice seeing her after a long time, you should check it out if you haven’t
We need Michelle back! One thing about Michelle that I loved is that she was a humble beauty guru. She had a community were you felt empowered, and learned how to do makeup looks. Now the beauty community is so superficial, only focusing on "the tea" about this and that. Spending ungodly amounts of money on products they will NEVER use ever again for just a video. Or they get graced with beautiful PR packages and just unbox them and throw them on the side like its yesterdays trash. I wish they would give those products away to people who can't afford makeup, use their platforms for good. TH-cam has evolved into a source of entertainment. Which, don't get me wrong I like to have a good laugh once in a while. But at the end of the day, I REALLY MISS watching down to earth people like Michelle.
Maria Gallagher plenty of them do do giveaways and donate to shelters. Tati is the closest to being both humble and quiet like Michelle while still being fun every once in a while
Makes me want to cry watching this. Everything I knew about beauty care and makeup came from Michelle. Now, everyone is so extra and exhausting. She’s the OG! She’s everything! She’s Mich, bish!!!
I love what she said following that she hasn't worn foundation in 2 years. I lost all my makeup in one swoop cause my gym bag got stolen and the days after I felt so uncomfortable going out bare faced. I definitely need to take breaks from wearing makeup to stop the face dysmorphia
I once saw this post that this woman hadn’t seen herself in a year to gain confidence. When she saw herself again it was her wedding day. Not sure if that was true or not but I tried it and about 2-4 months later I looked at myself and ever since then I haven’t seen myself as ugly anymore. This was 6 years ago. c: If anyone tries this then I hope it works for you! :) It gets easier after a few days.
Finally someone speaks the truth about foundation. You can say what yout want about makeup being empowering and whatnot but it does really affect your perception of you. I love makeup but the moment I feel I NEED it to get out of my house, I force myself not to wear it.
Bella Figura *not trying to put on a fight, just want to share my opinion to you ;) * How about the bronzing/tanning culture American obsess about? Because to me, the two side just have difference beauty standards. In asian culture, fair skin is the general ideal beauty standard for years (historically) But to Westerners (including American), having sun kissed skintone would be better. And in America, people (including some Asian American) would put on fake tan/ put on ALOT of bronzer to look tanner. To me, I see no different with asian want to look white and American want to look tanner than they actually skin color/race. What is your thought about this situation?
@@nakiter this is so good! it's true that asian always want/ think white/ fair skin is the beauty standart around here but westener also wants tan skin all the time lol
"Your face feels tight -- the product is too harsh for you" WHAT? Like EVERY product I've ever used has done that for me and I thought it's normal and you just moisturize well after... Dang
That used to be me. I have extremely oily skin and always used cleansers aimed for oily for that squeaky clean feeling I thought I was supposed to have. I started going to a dermatologist and now use a gentle soft cleanser and hydrating toner instead. My skin is much much better!!!
wow this has been one of the best videos in the series!! Shes so real and humble. She gave us some actual Helpful tips and explained the products and was so chill. Same back in the good Ol days
Ditto!
I learned how to do make up through her!
Same! Love her ❤
I really like the fact that you recognized that foundation was causing you to not like your skin and to develop a type of dysmorphia.
@@elvafragar thank you 🤗🤗
I went through the same journey as both of you for so many years.
I can’t stand the thought of smothering my face in cosmetics 😖
can I cry now?so so happy to see her again, thank you for this video
same! I'm in tears!
I'm not the only one that cried!?!?!?!
@@moonlit_child Omg I was trying to stop myself from crying but then I realized that's not honoring myself lol. Let's all cry happy tears because Michelle looks so calm, healthy, and confident.
@@goodnessgracious2325 she's glowing! I love how calm she looks such a queen
@@moonlit_child she is the OG how can we not cry
Thank you Harper’s Bazaar 🙆🏻♀️ you don’t know how grateful we feel to be able to watch our beloved Michelle Phan :)
She's still alive
I was low key expecting her to say good luck at the end
Check th description box 😏
Raisa Saleh Omg thank you for that!😭
I could hear your good luck with in her voice :(
Same 😭😭
I didn’t realize how ahead of her time she was until I went back and watched some of her videos and saw hacks that beauty influencers are just now catching on to.
Im doing the same thing for two months now! My skin is so much better than in the times when i always wear makeup
THIS! skincare is truly what you should've invest more than makeup! my goals is to be confident with my bare skin and having clear skin, i know it's hard but i'll try
Me too. Even when in special occasion, I only put concealer and powder, then lipstick. If I really need full makeup, I'll ask professional to do it.
Same for me. Foundation is for special events.
Wow! I've missed her voice and ofc her knowledge about skincare and makeup!
Wow. Never thought we'd live to see her on TH-cam again. Wow! Beautiful as ever!
I hate that feeling of “ I need it” just to buy it and not use it , to then see a nother you tuber swear by another product that “ I so called need too”
I so agree.
She is just different from all the all youtubers no shade to the others but michelle is just the creme de la creme.
She’s respectful and respectable 😊
youtube, social media in general, actually EVERYTHING went downhill after 2015. 2016 was the start of the garbage years.
Zeyno K. Zoldyck right, no drama just beauty
That was kinda a lie. She did threw shade and made fun of others on social media in the past but she deleted it once people point it out. There was a reason she deleted her Xanga and past social media accounts.
But I think she grew up and learn from it.
@@CrimsonEclipse Who did she threw shade and make fun of?
MICHELLE. WE NEED YOU BACKKKKKJK BACK TO YOUR THRONE!
Michelle needs to come back and make all these other "beauty gurus" take their SEATS.
She seems to be a wise person considering her attitude to makeup and the way she speaks in general
I'm personally so happy that she took the route that she did. She's obviously at a much better place mentally.
Microaggression much?
Remember the old beauty community and chill people like Michelle phan,Bubzbeauty and stuff
The first 2 channels I subscribed to! 😊🙂
Lush Life I’m still subbed to bubzbeauty and bubzvlogz.. can’t stand the absolutely bullshit of teenagers like james Charles etc etc. I’ve grown with Michelle and bubz so I can’t relate to the drama. I miss old TH-cam
@@MishezzieMay same 🤗🤗🤗
BUBZ!!! i still follow her on IG dang i miss them so much. Patricia bright as well
Bubz is back! And about to launch makeup brushes again and a few makeup products. Michelle has made an appearance in Promise Phan’s videos recently too. Talk about breath of fresh air!!
I forgot how powerful Michelle's positive attitude and vibe are. Thank you so much for this video, Harper's BAZAAR!
michelle phan is in her 30s... holy crap has time really passed that fast?!
Ikr
We're getting older too :(
Uhh 31 isn't that old but ok.
Bunnyhoney i don’t remember saying that 31 was old ... but okay
:(
She was my very first beauty guru back in 2012.
Oprah? Are you sure... watch some of her old interwievs. Michelle is super kind and elegant tho :)))
Her voice is so nostalgic and soothing. It takes me back to being in high school and watching her. All current makeup youtubers should thank Michelle. She definitely paved the way
Phan-tastic 😍 so glad to see the OG Beauty Guru of TH-cam 😍😍😍
She is the original, the queen of the yt beauty community. Her reviews, the way she talks about makeup and other beauty products is so genuine, with scientific explanations, not just "this is so pretty".
Lol, that sounded like Nicole Concealer. Yes, concealer.
OMG!!!!
I’m a nurse and I work nights and I wear a sleeping mask at work!! 🌈
The hospital is freezing cold and has ZERO humidity so it’s like a desert! Several nurses started being the creams to work and I noticed a difference in their skin and was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?? They told me about the sleeping mask and I jumped on board. It has turned my skin around completely 🌈🧼💝💗🧴🍭🍑
Omg 10 years later and Im still learning so many things from Michelle even from this one video. She's not a TH-cam legend for nothing! 💖
OMG! THE QUEEN IS BACK! I REPEAT, THE QUEEN IS BACK!
She is srsly the only one on youtube who actually deserves that title haha
@@annih7385 yeah that's true
She's still the beauty legend who taught me how to curl my hair using paper when I was 13 years old 😍😍
Oh my god, I remember watching that video in middle school too 😭
I still do it!
Omg same! I remember being so proud that I only used paper for curling my hair
ME TOO!
Me too!
Its refreshing to see someone who is an OG beauty guru not using very high end products such as Lamer , SK II etc..
Biologique recherche is pretty high end though
froncifresh haha yeah notice that, at least only 1 compare to others were its all high end. You know what I mean.. :)
OGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
isa lol calm tf down, I was not shaming someone who can afford high end or luxury products.
Michelle was my first asmr videos back before it was a community.
omg same!!!
you’re so right
Her voice is so calming.
Michelle has such a great voice. It's just so relaxing! Also, her tips were very very very useful!
I miss her. I remember being subscribed to her before she even did her lady gaga makeup tutorial. The good old days of youtube.
Dang those lady gaga tutorials were my shit thoo
Mulan 121 she was why i started doing makeup vids, i remember that good times of her teaching us the gelatin nose strip and the vampire make up look 😪
i learn how to do my makeup around my glasses from her...good i miss her
Yup. The diys...the transformations (she was the OG) dang good times
Amazing, iconic, the original charismatic beauty queen. The entirety of TH-cam has missed her.
The « What if I stopped wearing foundation part » was the 1 minute TED talk I did not know I needed thanks Michelle ! And Harper’s Bazar for making this video happen
Me too! So glad I watched this!
LMBO
I like that Michelle talked about not wearing foundation and prioritizing skincare. Feeling beautiful and comfortable in my skin are goals.
The original and queen of gurus!! 👑
I completely agree!!!
The fact that she didn't say good luck at the end broke my heart ):
Jackie Chipss omg same
Why did she stop? I’m just now getting into her videos
Katie Lynn she doesnt make videos anymore for her own mental health
Katie Lynn watch her “why I left” video! It’s the last thing she ever uploaded. She’s very active on Instagram though!
Jackie Chipss I was expecting that ending too
Im so emotional seeing michelle in a video again 😭❤️ love u mish
Im 34 and recently i decided to go foundation free and going lighter on makeup in general. I noticed I was becoming too dependent on makeup to the point i was so insecure without it and i didnt like that. I have been investing on better skincare and my skin is looking so much better and im so much more confident because its my skin not a mask im wearing. I still love makeup but in a new way.
MICHELLE PHAN?!?! Where the hell has she been? I feel like I've been teleported to 2014 TH-cam.
2014? Honey try 2009! Lol
Yes lol I got teleported to 2009!
She had a mental break a few years ago and quit yt. She only wears lipstick and eyebrow makeup (and maybe light foundation). She's focusing on herself and selling her makeup brand
she started it all
Miryah Mckenzie ♡ exactly!!! Even contour she started contouring back when i was 8 yrs old 😂😭💕
Michelle: I don't use foundation anymore
Foundation companies: gone bankrupt
Patrick Starr: found wigless
Nikkietutorials: left the chat
im dead
Lol
Hotel?Trivago.
Hotel : trivago
😂😂
wow. her saying she doesn't wear foundation makes her SO real
Finally someone gets their hair out of their face during their skin care routine 🙌
Also her skin looks phenomenal! 💕
Jane Fehr hahaha yes!
Jane Fehr Right! I hate it when people leave their hair down doing makeup or skincare and then foundation gets in their hair or they wash their face with a string of hair on their cheek 😣
I think it's because they like how their hair looks. Emily Ratajkowski's Vogue makeup video comes to mind. She kept messing with her hair.
Jane Fehr I was still mad that it was open n when she bent down to wash triggered me but still better than most
The OG beauty guru, no one can compare 😭❤️ my heart is so full seeing her after so long
I love these videos but half the time the models really don't seem to know anything about skincare or ingredients or the order to use them, they just slap a bunch of dior and lancome skincare on...
🙏🏽 totally agree with you …I always heard when I turned 30 oh you look so young for 30 etc and as you age it’s starts to get annoying 🥹
*It's nice to know we all agree she's the queen* 🙌 🙌
Because you don't argue with facts
HELL YEAHHHH
The nostalgia😭 I religiously watched her videos in middle school/high school. The ORIGINAL beauty guru.
michelle phan, if you read ALL of our comment here , please don't cry...
we respect your decision, but we just truly really miss you 😢
why did she leave youtube.
Amy Bonilla her video is on her channel
Amy Bonilla toxicity
oooohh makes sense
? She is a grown woman
She taught me everything I know about beauty. Thank you Michelle! The world of youtube isn't the same without you. Hope you come back one day❤
Maliha Intikhab Omg same
She didn't say her iconic catch phare "good luck"
It's in the description box! I actually gasped and smiled like an idiot when I saw it. ♥️
@@midoriyakyun9488 oh you're right. I didn't even see that. Thanks for telling me

Yes, i feels so enlightened now haha. I might just start my skin care. She explained everyhthig so well. Other videos just dont explain anything
Haha I was actually take notes through it
Then you’ve been watching the wrong youtubers, it seems. Look up Liah Yoo, Gothamista, and Dr Dray.
I’m so excited to see her again 😭 I used to watch her videos in middle school (I’m 22 and a college grad now) and she was my favorite TH-camr. Her videos were so relaxing and sometimes I used to fall asleep while watching them.
Omy you are back! The original beauty guru is back gurl! hugggs!
I'll be selfish for a moment and say I miss Michelle and wish she would make content again.
Now that's out of the way, I'm glad to see her happy, and for those of you who don't know she's still active on Instagram and yes, she still makes makeup, just not videos. Love you Michelle ❤

@@kamarabdelzahra3722 hate for what?
She posted a video explaining why she left on her channel
jac lyn Even though she’s not on her old channel, you should keep up with her on her channel for her makeup line, em cosmetics.
Tati is the closest to being both humble and quiet like Michelle while still being fun every once in a while
I love how the mask fit her face SO WELL literally like a jigsaw puzzle I’m jealoush
i don’t trust many beauty guru’s skin advice, BUT she is my go-to for skin
This makes me feel so nostalgic 😭
Makes me want to cry watching this. Everything I knew about beauty care and makeup came from Michelle. Now, everyone is so extra and exhausting. She’s the OG! She’s everything! She’s Mich, bish!!!
She is like a big sister that l never had but she keeps inspiring me everytime l see her.She teaches me so much when it comes to inner/outer beauty.
sis disappeared off the face of the earth, came back, and STILL LOOKS GOOD.
how.
I love what she said following that she hasn't worn foundation in 2 years. I lost all my makeup in one swoop cause my gym bag got stolen and the days after I felt so uncomfortable going out bare faced. I definitely need to take breaks from wearing makeup to stop the face dysmorphia
Yeah I notice some people I know have wear makeup every day and I look at them say bare faced 😂
I look sick bare faced 😭
If I didn’t have scars and my face didn’t get red so easily I wouldn’t wear foundation at all.
Stinks. :(
I once saw this post that this woman hadn’t seen herself in a year to gain confidence.
When she saw herself again it was her wedding day.
Not sure if that was true or not but I tried it and about 2-4 months later I looked at myself and ever since then I haven’t seen myself as ugly anymore.
This was 6 years ago. c:
If anyone tries this then I hope it works for you! :)
It gets easier after a few days.
Luna Lugosi honestly same. People at work will always ask if I'm okay if I don't wear concealer. Definitely doesn't help being a night shifter
Finally someone speaks the truth about foundation. You can say what yout want about makeup being empowering and whatnot but it does really affect your perception of you. I love makeup but the moment I feel I NEED it to get out of my house, I force myself not to wear it.
@Bella Figura bruh what? Yikes, this smells
Bella Figura
*not trying to put on a fight, just want to share my opinion to you ;) *
How about the bronzing/tanning culture American obsess about?
Because to me, the two side just have difference beauty standards.
In asian culture, fair skin is the general ideal beauty standard for years (historically)
But to Westerners (including American), having sun kissed skintone would be better.
And in America, people (including some Asian American) would put on fake tan/ put on ALOT of bronzer to look tanner.
To me, I see no different with asian want to look white and American want to look tanner than they actually skin color/race.
What is your thought about this situation?
@Bella Figura you are completely wrong, westerners use much more foundation
@Bella Figura wanting lighter skin doesn't mean you want to look "white"
Educate yourself.
@@nakiter this is so good! it's true that asian always want/ think white/ fair skin is the beauty standart around here but westener also wants tan skin all the time lol
Her voice is so soothing! I missed her 😭
"Your face feels tight -- the product is too harsh for you"
WHAT?
Like EVERY product I've ever used has done that for me and I thought it's normal and you just moisturize well after... Dang
KatF Right?!😱 I’m so glad she said that now I know
Right?! Why has no one else mentioned this am I living under a rock?! When she said that i was like “oh no.....”
Right I've always felt that right feeling..I've always wondered but makes sense if the oils are stripped. And i suffer from dry skin tooo.
KatF sAME
That used to be me.
