It is truly amazing to think five months ago Michigan was vertically challenged and top recruits weren’t considering Michigan at all. The Bryce Underwood effect and the NIL mega ball is rolling!!! Go Blue!!!
Bryce underwood effect? No one cares about him they care about what’s his name one of the richest dudes in the world? The one writing checks.
@user-tl5bk9uv8x OH, yes, they do. He is the number 1 player. Lol
@@user-tl5bk9uv8xNot only did we play better, players instantly commited because of Michigan. Most of these players are getting offers from osu, ga, al, and many other p4 schools but now we are not only in the NIL game, we are also having a lot of tale t come here so we can impact them
@@user-tl5bk9uv8x The hate you have for him won't change nothing 😂
The Ben Franklin effect you mean.
I think the skill players will follow.
OSU won't win for another 4 years against Michigan
At least
Yup OSU went insane on nil, even pursued a law to cover them half way through the season... Hope they never win anything again.
@@chenkov3967 well said!
🏆
Ohio State just won a national championship.
They have a top 5 recruiting class coming in again.
They’re not going anywhere.
Ryan Day won a Natty in his sixth year - just like how Kirby Smart did.
Next year OSU has
- 5 star QB phenom Julian Sayin
- JJ Smith + Caleb Downs ( two best players in CFB)
- many returnees with All American potential ( Tate, Klare, Hinzmann, Styles, Davison)
You don’t include 4-5 star Ty Hayward on your slide….
They probably had this prepared before and left him off just in case.
@@MarkyMark1221he’s on the header of the video… lol
Go Blue! Looking good boys!
The transformation in recruiting since the IL loss mid-season has been nothing short of amazing and you ticked off the details of HOW it happened. I believe WHY it happened was the fans outspoken indignation, “we’ve had enough and we won’t take it anymore” led by Portnoy’s Barstool bully pulpit. This galvanized Sheron, Sean McGee and staff to engage the millions of alumni donors, such as Jolin Ellison to revamp NIL and create McGee’s NFL based NIL framework.
Now UM’s strategy seems bent on: 1) retaining top veterans thru a performance-based NIL ladder; 2) identifying their top “must have” Frosh players and like Steve W said, laying down the “we won’t be outbid” gauntlet (eg. Babalola, Haywood, etc. and 3) filling key gaps via experienced portal players, but only with a select few and at far less NIL than new recruits or veterans.
This keeps the whole team as engaged as possible, retaining and developing talent to its full potential and sustains the recruiting flywheel…into the future.
I’m not an inside football expert, just a fan who sees a lot of great managerial and team building principals being applied in a highly structured strategy. Go Blue!!! 💙💪💙
Well said. Bravo!

@ THANK YOU- GO BLUE!!!
Indeed...
I actually think if Bryce isn’t the starter day 1 it will because Michigan still doesn’t know how the O line will be. The last thing you want with a freshman QB, no matter how talented, is throw them in behind a subpar O line (imo the O line will be excellent but maybe not right away). I think Keene will start the season for that reason.
I agree. Start Keene first game to test the o-line and second since that's Oklahoma and not a good time to introduce a new QB. Guessing he starts game 3.
@@matthewdrews that’s what I’m thinking. After game 2 start working Bryce in more until he’s the full time starter towards the end of the year
I think Mikey starts, to allow Bryce to figure out college football. He gets 20-30 snaps a game and 2/3rd of those are handoffs. 1/3 of them are passes where if he throw an incompletion, it wont be the end of the world and its only like 2nd and 4 then 3rd and 4. Oklahoma is when we truly test his abilities and let him start taking over the driver seat while getting limited stats. Then he takes over the rest of the season
Good point!
Keene this, and Keene that. Did everybody forget about Davis? 😂
GO BLUE 🏆🏈💙💛
GoBlue!!👍😎〽️
The Bryce Underwood flip was so important because he was a Michigan kid. Michigan had just let two 5⭐️ in state QB’s leave with Dante Moore and CJ Carr. Now to lose Underwood the #1 overall player while our offense looked worst than Iowa was dark. His flip injected positivity into every other recruiting battle because we now knew we had our centerstone locked up and just needed pieces around him.
Michigan finding a billionaire to pay underwood is what changed all this. I HATE this in the college football landscape, but its the game we have to play now. If a team doesn't have a billionaire of their own, they can forget about conference championships and national titles. This is not NIL. This is PAY FOR PLAY and I hate it. You know who else hates it?The SEC. They've been comping their players in some fashion for years now illegally, and now that it's legal, the playing field has been leveled. Look at all the players vacuumed out of the SEC to Michigan in 2025. Certainly its a small dataset (1-year) and whether or not this trend continues remains to be seen. But college football has been forever changed by pay for play.... Sorry MSU. Move down the bench....😆
I hope Underwood doesn't start first game but plays early at times but if Michigan is in the mix down the stretch and Brice is really let him start.
Is wink coming back?
Go Blue SMASH!
I was one of the very few people online defending Sherrone and his staff, aside from Kirk Campbell throughout the season. It takes time to jell with new coaches and new systems. I always thought Sherrone would get it together on the field, as well as recruiting which also takes time and a few very good commitments, in order to get the ball rolling. Now we’re seeing the fruits of all that labor paying off. Well done Sherrone and staff.
〽️ go 🟦
Go blue 〽️
It's bc we were losing every recruiting battle bc we had no real NIL game to recruit new players with. We did great for the current players but nothing to show new players
Why did Ty Haywood 5* go down to a 4*
Obviously I compared Ohio states players to Michigan. Moreso position not ranking.... Michigan got the QB, but they stockpiled both sides of the line. Ohio st I see dbs rbs wrs...hardly any line presence. If Michigan holds up they will continue to beat ohio state the same way
Kinda glad ohio 💩 won the natty, that means theyll extend or resign cryin ryans contract, 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yep. It was natty or bust after the Michigan loss. He knew he had to win it all to save his job.

Ryan Day must be a sucker for punishment !
It took Michigan losing to Illinois to wake up their top alumni and finally play in the NIL sandbox? Imagine if Stanford, Northwestern, universities wealthier and as rich as the top programs did the same …
They don't have the ellison pull. 😅
Nrthwstrn has no fans. They are building a new stadium, and it only holds around 40,000 fans.
Yeah I think Ohio state is in trouble this year
Still in need help at receiver.
Larry Ellison just spent $20M in 3 weeks.
He makes that in a day 😅
Stallions working behind the scenes again
He's good he's watching you right now. Look out your bedroom window. Bwahahaha!
LOL! Horses running full speed ahead!
Totally fine with that. It's about time we got down in the mud with the rest of the top teams in college football , SEC.
To those of you commenting Stallions was hired by Underwoods HS last year. Which means Stallions was in Underwoods ear trying to get him to come to Michigan.
Who is Bryce going to throw too. Yall needed to spend moee on Bryce than we paid in total NIL ... lmao ...
Underwood didnt even look at yall until you paid him more than any college player
You needed a billionaire to get him to look at ur team
All of this is true. What’s your point though? Bryce will probably throw to our WRs and TEs is my guess.
You know nothing!
Them Suckeyes are sick , ya’ll Suckeyes are sour , but remember that you brought a championship team.
......and we found a billionaire. Your point? That's the game in 2025. Open the wallet, or forget about the possibility of championships or natties. Look at everyone else that looked at Michigan as soon as we got him. I'm fine with the way everything played out. Hate the money being thrown at these kids but whatevs. Adapt or die.
Our team that just beat Ohio St and Alabama? All with a sorry offense and no Qb? Were you in a coma brought on by COVID or something. Have you not been updated on Michigan success since then?
Trevor Lawrence didn’t start until like game 5 so I think Bryce starts after the Nebraska game. Keene brings a lot of experience which they’ll need for the Oklahoma and Nebraska games
If Ohio soft couldn’t beat classes that were at 15 they’re not beating top 7 classes 😂 this might be another class ranked #1 after they graduate just like 2022
