I met Casey and Trevor in a parking lot after they came off the mountain and before the storm. They came over to my truck to congratulate me on my bull strapped to the four wheeler and even helped me load my coolers. Great guys very personable and down to earth!
We were in the Uinta Wilderness as that storm came through. Holy cow it was scary!!!! Trees coming down all around the tent. Me and 3 of my boys and all our gear in a little 4 man tent for 30 hours trying to stay warm and alive!!!! What an adventure!!!
You always need to do the hunt with the B&R boys. Best part of the season. I liked this for the Born Boys

Thunder, lightning, , wind, hail,rain,sleet, and snow. At 11,400ft, 9 miles in, miserable ride out, should have seen the rodeo when lightning struck 40 yds away. 29 switchbacks coming down in the snow. Good call to get off the mountain.

We were in the Catherine Creek Unit bow hunting when that storm hit. We were still in the woods. It sounded like mortar fire. Huge trees dropping everywhere. We got out quick, but it was scary!

I was on the next mountain over and we heard and saw nothing! Talked to some of your rifle guys and then again saw nothing but deer, bear, moose, mountain lion, fox, grouse, porcupine and every other creature you can imagine! Went 0/8 again this year! Rode out that storm in my 26 foot trailer and had a foot of snow as well. Just another crap season for me. Maybe next year if I can find a job.
Now that was a good decision to hike out and get the air bnb, imagine riding that storm out in the tents lol.

It's Nov. 5... I miss September already. The next 10 months are going to be really long. ☹️ Honestly, I really haven't had much luck calling, actually no luck, during the days. All the responses to calling have been early mornings or evenings... That storm was brutal!

I killed my bull at 830 that morning of the storm 9 miles in! St as rting packing out in sunny nice weather and there was about 8 inches of snow on the ground when we got to the truck! The best worst day of my life!
