The first Shatabdi Express was driven by by Driver 'A' Grade Special Mr Jamshed Jehangirji Dick & Mr L . R Gahlot both loco pilot belonging to Jhansi division.
The 12002 Bhopal Shatabdi Express train has 14 AC Chair cars, 2 Executive AC chair car, 2 power cars (Total 18 coaches). Ac chair car costing is around 1600, Executive AC chair car is around 2400. FOOD IS INCLUDED. Dynamic Pricing is applicable in this train. Fare may increase at the time of booking.
From Delhi Shatabdi Express runs as 12002 everyday at 6am in the morning & covers 707 km distance in around 8 hours reach Bhopal by 2:30pm. . From Bhopal Habibganj it runs as 12001 everyday at 3:15 pm in the afternoon & covers 700kms in around 8 hours & reach Delhi by 11:30 pm in the night.

I have an incident where RPF really helped me... they are doing a great job. Here it goes :
I went To Vaishno Devi in November, I was travelling by Shree Shakti Express and at midnight one of the coach attendants got drunk and tried to lock me out of the train and then threatened me when i boarded from another coach. I complained online and RPF came just at the next station and took care of the issue. RPF really helped me make my journey comfortable.

I travelled Hyderabad to New Delhi a few times in the 1960s on holiday. It was a journey of 3 days and two nights. All mostly by steam engine! When I got off in Delhi, I felt I was still in the train as my body was still shaking! I was a boy then and these were great trips! Thank you!
