Actually the reason for more security is....ELECTIONS
I am a frequent traveller of this route.
The reason behind higher security is that.
Once you left gujarat (dahod station) there are more chances that thieves will put obstacles and u may get looted .
Between Ratlam, Dahod, and Meghnagar the incidents have happened repeatedly withDehradun exps, Avadh exps, Sabarmati exps in the past.
So Government has become more conscious regarding this and now a days rate of incidents have lowered.

I have hardly heard of thieves or looting in this train, I have been travelling in this train since 10-12 years
I found this route to be very creepy ...in late 90s ...I don't know the situation now....to much security there must be some issue.
Basically I'm from indore and I was used to travel in this train. Currently I live in New York , when I saw this video I got emotional as well as feeling like I'm traveling in this train... thank you for making such a "Infotainment" video, keep it going brother.
