    Extremely Amazing PowerHouse! Super Underrated Massive Clean Power. Pushing a Cerwin-Vega Stroker Pro Classic 15!! Extremely Aggressive! Setting off car alarms. WAY better than my (4) 12's JL Audio on a 1200/1. All day long D'Amore Engineering amps. All day long Cerwin-Vega Stroker Pro Classic. All day long, old school Phoenix Gold Zx350v2 on old school Phoenix Gold XS components. XS components sound better than the Zero Point and the Ti set I had.

    Question - For each of the "certified" tests you had the Fluke Amp meter in front....and at the end of the 4, 2, and 1 Ohm runs you showed an "efficiency" where the Amp values shown there, were not the same as what the meter was showing. What's up with that? If the Fluke was reading the actual amps, where did you get your Amp numbers from?

    • @Facekicker
      @Facekicker  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The fluke keeps reading when the dyno stops because the track continues to play until I hit pause. When editing I play the video frame by frame and use the value shown on the fluke when the dyno locks its numbers in.
      It's like watching a cars speedometer during a quarter mile run, at the end of the run it might have clocked 95mph official time, but the driver might see 97mph on the dash as he passes the line and transitions to the brake.

  • @geraldlarson5796
    @geraldlarson5796 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Okay, I know I'm probably overthinking this, for 1ohm, where did you get the 140.1A input from for the efficiency ratio eqn? Wasn't the total draw in the circuit loop 170.1A?

    • @Facekicker
      @Facekicker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The dyno stops reading at 1% distortion, but the progressive track keeps playing and the amp keeps pulling current after the dyno has locked in its readings.
      I simply pause the video and advance frame by frame to log the amperage at the exact moment the dyno locks in. In this case it was ~140a.

    My question is how efficient is this amp going to be at 12-13.8 volts where majority of people's systems are charging at your running some of these tests at 14.8-14.9 way over the nominal 14.4 an amp is usually rated at or if you get good quality amps Rockford, kicker they will do there rated at 13.8 where my charging system is can this amp do that if it can then I will be impressed but I'm sorry to say if it needs almost 15 volts just to do rated power it's not a good amp I'm not trying to bash the product just saying actually the reason I'm watching the video is because I was wondering about the product I hope this is just a case where you set your voltage to high retry the test at 14.4 maximum and see what it does or lower like 13.5-13.8 if it can do rated power then I will buy it for sure but I'm not going to buy a product that from what I saw here could never outperform the amps I already have

    • @Facekicker

    You’re all over d’amores D on this amp. It’s slightly above rated. It’s not like the hcca’s or quality Korean built amps. It’s nice do t get me wrong. It’s just nothing spectacular. Thanks for the video.

    • @DTW-bx2vy
      @DTW-bx2vy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well amplifier manufactures lie 90% of the time. It is just as bad if an amplifier produces more than rated power because they could have just told the honest truth to begin with instead of lying to people. Like the amplifier manufactures don't know what they are producing, yeah right.

    • @jlev505
      @jlev505 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DTW-bx2vy I definitely agree with you on that point. Just put what the damn thing puts out. I’m not sure why that is so hard? I know this lower quality companies lie about it being way more than it really puts out. It would be nice to get an accurate number right off the bat so you would know if you need to upgrade your electrical system. Which is what I had to do after buying some really high power amps that put out double what they claimed. I appreciate your videos. It’s nice to see what companies are scamming people with their “BOSS” output😂

      It's not about just making power. It's about making clean power. Now that everybody has switched over for the most part from class AB it's almost impossible to find a clean sounding amp to power a SQ system. Tony and team have stepped up to fill that gap.

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The price is very carefully set. Its not any higher or lower than it should be. If you need something cheaper you would need to find someone making a cheap copy of another amp. Since they put in no design or testing, they have no engineers on the payroll, their final costs are less.
