- What does fletcherize mean? Fletcherize is a verb that means to chew food slowly and thoroughly to extract its maximum nutritional value. It can also mean to consider deliberately, meditate thoroughly on, or chew over something. For example, the rabbit fletcherized. :)
Rabbits are often food motivated and just tear into any dish presented to them, eating it as fast as rabbitely possible. Using different sized foods with different consistencies, we teach the rabbit to slow down and enjoy his food.

We think banana is one of the rabbit's favorite foods. The banana has a mushy consistency, while the hay crunchies are much harder, forcing him to slow down and learn to chew his food.
We labeled it "ASMR" in case some viewers would enjoy the eating sounds he makes - we certainly think his chewing could be considered relaxing. What is ASMR? ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and is used to describe an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. In short, it' that feeling of getting "the chills." Maybe his squishy and crunchy eating sounds will trigger you to feel it, who knows? Or maybe he will just put you right to sleep. Or, maybe you just wonder what a bunny eating looks like :) Whatever the reason, thanks for stopping by!
When eating this delicious mixture, the rabbit makes lots of rabbit crunching sounds, then lots of rabbit squeaking sounds. Perfect for ASMR sounds! The crunching especially! If you'd like to hear the rabbit eat something more crunchy, he was also recently featured eating a carrot, and he has eaten apple, strawberry, watermelon, lettuce, kale, parsley, grapes, baby food, juice, and rabbit pellets! However, if you're wondering what is a rabbit's favorite food? It might be a tie between banana and apple peel! We hope you like the sounds of a rabbit eating!
Maybe we could consider this mukbang as well, because the mighty beast is eating on camera, and interacting with the microphone. :)
