They needed to know who broke into a government building.
@@jeremiahsandstrom
It's the 'people's place'.
The Government, no matter of what persuasion, is only a short-term tenant under a lease aggreement called an election.
If they break any part of that agreement there should be an avenue by which they can be evicted by the landlord (the people).
The people, as is the entire country, annoyed, embarrassed, frustrated and suffering under this rancid mob, but because they control all the available mechanisms there is no accountability or legal recourse.

Garland was caught of guard with the question of ,is it a crime to question an election 😬
When you cheat you don't want to be questioned
That's why he had repeated instances of selective hearing.
.....it's a delaying tactic.
He can afford hearing aids. 😉
He gave a clear answer: no, it is not a crime to question an election. But you doubtless suppose that storming the Capitol amounts to 'questioning' and was therefore not a crime. Grow up.
Garland knew what he was doing. He was wasting time. His department has made it that questioning an election IS a crime. I believe that is one of the charges that they're trying to get President Trump.
He had very hard time hearing that question!!!
I love how garland acts like he can’t hear things when he knows he’s in trouble.
In trouble? He rephrased the congressman's question then answered, "no, it is not a crime to question an election". Doesn't sound like trouble to me. Question asked and eventually answered. Why all the crying?
@@paulettebrissett56 if you’ve watched more than a few minutes of him answering questions, this is a common tactic of his. What it does, and what they’re coached to do when answering questions, is to burn up time any way possible. @jamessm4401 Okay, so he's taking up time. Limits the amount of stupid questions. He's AG, head of the DOJ. Why ask him (an experienced judge) questions that have an obvious answer?

Why didn't he ask why Trump was being prosecuted for questioning an election then? Trump needs to use Garland's statement against Big Fani in GA.
It wouldn’t make trumps hopeless defense any better because it’s not against the law to question an election but the problem you have is that Republicans totally ignored the ruling in 60 court cases, they totally ignored the recounts in several republican states, and they totally ignored all evidence proving there was no fraud in the election and then they developed a plot to try to overthrow that election. That’s what made it illegal. Trump has no defense, conspiracy theories
are not going to fly worth a shit in a court of law.
You can question the results, sure you can, but asking someone to find 11800 votes is a step too far......and the little thing about sending fake election officials.
Not really questioning is it?.....more like an attempted coup.

@@hellokitty524 except that he’s completely in the right. Trump is NOT being prosecuted for QUESTIONING an election, NOT even for LYING about its safety, he is being prosecuted for organising a CONSPIRACY TO OVERTURN IT AFTER HE LOST IT.
Hilarious that when Garland, the DOJ Chief weaponizer is asked an embarrassing question he suddenly has trouble with his hearing.
Right, because investigating people who clearly committed crimes is "weaponization", just because you like the criminal's politics...
What weaponization? Back on March 31st, the committee on the weaponization of the government released their preliminary report. This was a committee headed by Jordan himself. The official report states that this committee found no evidence of any weaponization of the government by the current administration. Not against conservatives or Republicans. Not by the DOJ, FBI, IRS, or any government agency. Check it out. It's 100% true.
Thank God this monster was kept off the Supreme Court
In Australia, a man was questioned by police after he posted a photo on his social media page of a prohibited anti-lockdown rally. If he was there, he would be arrested. If he was sharing someone else's photo he was OK but of course would be on a list.
When it's a crime to disagree, you are not a citizen anymore.
Correlating millions of financial transactions with the date of an event is a dangerous proposition. Guilty until proven innocent.
It's not a crime to have an opinion.
But when you came to that opinion by being lied to by the way people that violated the law and admit your guilt on national TV that's evidence of your crime and not considered hearsay.
Yeah Trump said that he made the decision to violate not only the law but also his oath of office.
I'm surprised that the Bible they used to swear him in didn't burst into flames.

If it’s a crime to question an election than Hillary and Stacey should be there
Name me a republican that's in trouble with the law for questioning the results. I'll wait.
Trump directed a state office to find him a specific number of votes in order to change the results or something bad would happen to him. He also had a conspiracy to change the election results using a false slate of electors. These are crimes. Republicans in federal office who simply questioned the results have not been prosecuted. Spreading knowingly false information (which he was informed by his cabinet) about a fraudulent election in order to cause a riot/insurrection is also illegal. Trump told them to remove the mags because they wouldn't harm "his" people. That is a crime.

One of Weimar Germany’s great satirists, Kurt Tucholsky, once offered some very pointed analysis. “If you want to judge the internal qualities of any society,” he said, “I give you this test. How do they treat the political opposition? A true democracy will tolerate opposition political figures and will allow them space to assert their views, however uncomfortable to the mainstream. But if the political opposition becomes the focus of attacks by the tools of justice, democracy itself is in jeopardy, for the transition to tyranny has begun.”

I question the last elections! and in case no one was paying attention to the Presidential election, the Georgia election, and the Pennsylvania election , we'll be lucky if a republican, who isn't in the pocket of the Democrats, ever wins an important election again. both parties have now in on it.

Drop boxes allowed people to vote without putting themselves at risk. Mail in voting is extremely secure and it's been used for many, many years.
