Hi, Lacey! So glad to meet you, and see your projects and plans. I love the way you have a good mix of projects, and I am so impressed by your HAEDs. They are both gorgeous! Please don’t worry about how many WIPs you are working on…whatever amount you have is just right for you, and that’s all that matters. I would love to see your crocheted projects, too. In fact, I was noticing that pretty yellow and green blanket in the background, and hoping you would talk about it 😂. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful smile again soon! ☺️ Meline
@mm-qm9zh Aww you are so sweet! Thank you for the encouragement 😊 if you end up watching my second flosstube you'll see why I haven't showed it yet 😅 I do hope to finish it up and show it soon, though!

@@lorettahenderson8979 I was thinking it would be a good project to learn to make pillows with ☺️ I hope to do that one day. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look her videos up! 🫶
I just found your flosstube. Wonderful video. Anything you share is perfectly fine. A little or a lot does not matter. I have been stitching for a long time but have never done a HAED....yet.
Congratulations on your FlossTube channel! You're doing great and your bunny project is adorable! I really enjoyed hearing your beautiful testimony about our Savior. God bless you! Happy Stitching from West Virginia.
@TheSeattleStitcher Thank you 😊 stitching definitely filled that purpose for me & the flosstube community has been so amazing!! I love your videos :) my son is a little older than yours, but not by much & I really relate to the stage of life you're in right now.
Welcome to Flosstube! Don't worry about how many WIPs you have😊 We are all different! I am currently trying to get my WIP count down, but there are lots of people who are in a "start everything" mood so wherever you land, there will be someone right there with you!😁 Congrats on your finish, honestly I hate backstitching, so to see people do it on their first projects always amazes me!😂 Your Mountain cabin is beautiful! 😍 yup, full coverage is just one stitch at a time! Would love to see your Crochet in your next video! Enjoy your new start!🪡💕
Welcome to Flosstube! We are total enablers.😂 When I started my channel last year, I think I had 4-5 WIPs; I'm at 24 now. 😂🤣 And I'm definitely not keeping up with all of my SALs! But I'm a sucker for SALs so I keep joining. On that gingerbread rules, I would just use 2 threads for the backstitching. I do that a lot when the backstitch doesn't show up. I've got a huge wishlist on HAED but I have to finish my oldest WIP (started in 2013) before I let myself get a HAED. Happy stitching! 😊
Welcome to FlossTube! You’re brave stitching that HAED. And fast too! I don’t have much stitching time with a son who has additional needs so it amazes me to see stitchers with young children stitching so fast! Looking forward to your next video 😊
@stitchysam5911 Thank you so much. ❤️ I didn't touch it for nearly a year so I'm trying to make up for lost time 😊 I definitely have days where stitching just doesn't get to happen but I've really been trying to prioritize it lately ❤️ I appreciate the warm welcome and support so much!
@TheSnitchStitcher thank you! Funny you say that...I just posted my second video & already have new plans and projects coming up 😆 that escalated quickly lol
@@the_sleepystitcher ohhh it goes fast! I’m lucky enough to have a ton of local enablers. I don’t even know how many WIPs I have at this point 🤦♀️🤷♀️
I love your WIPs, especially that HAED (the big one). I feel like your style of projects is very similar to what I typically like. My WIP pile has also grown exponentially from discovering flosstube lol
@AyBayBay196 Aww yay! Thank you 🥰 I feel like my style can be really random, but I'm also kind of picky. 🫣 My WIP pile (in real life and the one in my head) have grown a good bit just since this video 😆😆
Oh wow! That HAED is gorgeous! Can’t blame you for continuing to go back to that one. I love that piece you did for your pastor. So beautiful. My parents are missionaries and I grew up knowing West Africa. They’ve lived in Singapore the last ten years and are about to move to Europe. I definitely get the whole waiting for packages to arrive. It sucks. Glad you finally got your happy mail :) As for my advice on the backstitching, I pretty much always backstitch with two strands as I don’t find one strand sufficient. Good luck!
@KatesCraftingCorner thank you 😊 now I have 2 HAEDs that both have my heart ❤️😆 My husband and I have a huge heart for missions, praise the Lord for you and your family!
Love your first flosstube! To make the black coverage better, you can stitch 3 legs instead of 2 .. as in bottom leg, bottom leg, then top leg (or bottom, top, top). I hope that's clear!
Amazing first video! So glad you joined this amazing Flosstube community we have! lol the amount of embarrassing starts I have 🫣🫣🫣😆😆 loved your WIPs! I have The Mountain Cabin in my wishlist! Love it! I totally don’t need another full coverage project but your WIP is BEAUTIFUL, I may just have to add another full coverage to my list lol, who cares if I have 50 full coverages going 😂😂🫣
@hannahdowlingxstitch thank you so much...I feel so welcomed into the community and it is amazing 👏 also, yes absolutely stitch The Mountain Cabin. Maybe I'm biased but it's just perfect 😍
@@the_sleepystitcher lol I have to many Marchetti charts already in my google drive 😂 I should probably get a jump on one of those first 😅 so glad everyone has been so welcoming, I’m not surprised, it’s the best community
I really enjoyed your video. I'm still in touch with the lady who led me to Christ; she is very special to me! So I understand how you feel about your pastor and his wife! It's tough to leave those people behind. What a gorgeous gift you made for them. I crochet, too, and wouldn't mind seeing your projects! As for the coverage of DMC black... it's bad. Even when I use thread conditioner, I don't like the coverage. I use Anchor threads' black when I have large sections of black stitching. It does cover better! 🤷
@@TheDistractedStitcher Okay, I'll add that in at the end of the next video so that those that aren't interested can leave before it :) I think I'll buy some anchor when my dmc runs out....I have like 5-6 skeins though 🤦♀️ seems like a waste not to use it up.
@@the_sleepystitcher of course use up your black DMC! I do still use black DMC, just not when I have a big section to stitch in black, and when I want good coverage. And you don't have to share your crochet in your videos if you don't want to...I found you on IG so I can see it there! 😊 ~Kimberly
