Always a treat to see a new video! Thank you so much for letting us into your creative life. After using muted colors in cross stitch and counted canvas work for decades, I got into brighter colors, but now I'm getting back to the soft colors again after watching your work. I've wrapped my inner hoops for years, BTW.
What a creative use for your embroidery design selected. I just added the book to my Amazon wishlist. I didn’t see an affiliate link to your account but would gladly purchase it that way if you ever establish Amazon affiliate link for books. I enjoyed watching Mochi & all her cuteness watching you & exploring her new home. My favorite part of my week is doing some hand work sewing, quilting or embroidery while I watch my weekly TH-cam videos.
Hello again, I'm Julie. i craft most days now as I'm retired.. I have done a fair bit of Embroidery training. I loved it now. I'm now disabled and tired very quickly .. I have the book you are using I adore yumiko Higuchi and have a few others. II'm Embroiding, a pattern from Lorna Bateman from her Book Country gardens. It's flowers all the way through with projects . I will make it into a chair tidy. Take care I love to sew watching you and listening to the music. Xxxxxxx
Hi Julie! Thank you very much for watching! Making a chair tidy is such a great idea with lovely flower embroidery! Thank you for sharing and have a wonderful day! ❤
Love the autumn vibes and the mushrooms. This trivet turned out beautifully. Every time I watch one of your embroidery videos, I'm inspired to try some embroidery, myself. Thank you for another lovely video!
I am mexican and here there is a very particular way to embroider, with very colorful selection of colours and what I embroidery the most are napkings for tortillas...it is a tradición. I like your style very much, all your videos are very relaxing and peaceful, thanks for your effort.
The look of linen took me some time to love. I have clothes made from it and it is wrinkled as soon as I put it on. ☺ Your tea trivet turned out beautifully. 💕
Mochi is such great little helper. Think she will grow out of the scratching/biting for attention. They will let us know when we're ignoring them. ; ) 😺
Hello, to both you and Mochi🐱. I really enjoyed this episode, and look forward to making a similar version. The style reminds me of Diana Vingert… I have made much of her designs. Have a happy rest of your Sunday- and plenty of pats/ hugs for the Mochi lady
Wish you could see a picture of my kitty. They are the same breed and coloring. When she bites just pull a lil on the nape of her neck as a gentle “mom” reminder just as her mom would’ve done. Works like a charm and she understands as it’s kitty language for no and it doesn’t hurt her.
I tried embroidering but I don't have the patients to complete it. I'll stick to sashiko. Everytime I watch your video another idea pops. I'm almost finish sewing my second rice bag. I'm going to try your boarder stitching up the four corners so the bag sits upright. Beautiful hot plate.
Usually when I put on fabric on a hoop, I only put the outer ring about half way down, then tighten and then pushed the ring completely down, that way the fabric gets stretched really teight 😊
Oh I love mushrooms and it turned out so nice! I can see you having your own book one day with your own designs. For Mochi, when she wants to play/play attack and is biting I always just substitute my hand/arm with a small stuffed animal or lightweight towel. My cats love to bite those and then they do the kicking thing with their feet lol.
You're amazing!! After seeing your comment, I went and got a towel, added some catnip, rolled it up, tied the ends and gave it to her. She loves it!! She's been hugging, biting and kicking it...lol Thank you so much!! 😻
@kikosabi Haha oh that's good!! Just watch how much catnip as that can make them cuckoo too lol. My girl cats I can give catnip but my male cat oh boy he goes crazy.
Bias tape! What a great idea…I’ve been using ribbon but it tends to slip due to its shiny sheen. …love this design…. How have you been liking your hoop holder?
Beautiful embroidery and very pretty design. I love Yumiko's designs also. About Mochi - maybe she is biting because she is teething? Does she have a chew toy? Thank you for sharing ❤
Hey @kikosabi , I'm a big fan of your channel. I wanted to share a little tip that might help. When I'm finishing my embroidery pieces, I always use an iron with a steam setting. It helps to relax the fabric and remove any wrinkles, giving the embroidery a really professional look. I know how frustrating it can be to spend hours on a piece and then have it wrinkled, so I hope this helps! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Dear Kiko,
You need to tighten your hoop. Use screw driver . There is a slot in the end screws to get a tighter fit. Xxx love Julie in the Uk

I love how it turned out! You could make one for each season and swap them around?
Beautiful embroidery and very pretty design. I love Yumiko's designs also. About Mochi - maybe she is biting because she is teething? Does she have a chew toy? Thank you for sharing ❤
I love the design so much. How do you like your embroidery stand now that you have used it awhile?

Cats must have playtime at least twice a day! Or they do bite for attention.
