"Carry On Wayward Son" & "Dust In The Wind" are their 2 biggest hits. But they had other good songs such as "Point Of Know Return", "Hold On", "People Of The South Wind", "Play The Game Tonight", "Fight Fire With Fire", "All I Wanted" etc.

This began as a finger exercise. Kerry Livgren, the guitarist front left, was practicing with this and his wife kept telling him to do something with it. After she said that several times, he put together the words, took it to the band on the last day of recording, and their reply was "Where has THAT been?".
Great song reaction. On a lighter note…one not so great memory from the 70’s is the pirate shirt with ruffles, being worn outside their intended of wedding rentals. Owned one…ouch.🤣

The rock bands of the late 20th century produced countless songs of this caliber ...the kind that rang true with so many people, that time has not diminished them, but rather, the opposite. The 60s 70s and 80s were a fantastic time to be young and to be a music lover. Classic rock forever.

Back in the day when this was hot for some reason Kansas NEVER played in Nebraska. I lived there so a buddy and I had to go to Red Rocks (Colorado/God's Cathedral). Very well worth the trip and a nice ride on a couple of Harleys with our girls. 600 miles round trip with roughly $1.00 gas I've seen them since then with the new band members in Reno (former Harrah's outdoor venue) Still killin' it.
