Couldn’t have asked for better weather- it’s what we imagine to be a perfect Summer’s day ( not like now which is too humid & scorchio) What a lovely church and grounds too. Thanks Marq!
Thank you for sharing another lovely walk on a lovely day in England. I adore these videos. I find them very calming, and although I can't speak for everyone, I think there are more people than I who need something calm and enjoyable these days. Big hugs! 😘
Thank you for another excellent video! I love this walk and it’s one that I know well. I have recently been watching a lot of your videos, they are so great for discovering new places, and for getting a fresh perspective on familiar ones. I also love all of the little nuggets of information that you share along the way, and trying to guess if you will finish your walk with a steak and ale pie in a cosy pub or not! Looking forward to your next tour around English countryside!
Lovely walk Marq 🚶♂️ you really enjoyed it I could tell. Beautiful day, blue sky and stunning scenery and cottages. What a beautiful Church. I loved the rose 🌹 bushes along the walkway, it's obviously well cared for, so nice to see. I remember going to see the Windmill with the church below on one of our walks. Such an interesting location. Lunch looked delicious. Thanks for taking us with you 🥰
Great video, Marq -a part of the world I know very well of course! The cottage by the railway crossing was never a station, it would have always been a crossing keeper’s cottage - not a bad place to have a tied cottage!

Foxglove
Off Marq goes to visit Buckland, to see a pond which has no ducks.
Just a little bit of England, where the houses cost big bucks.
Brilliant video. I been enjoying watching a few of them there great gives me ideas where to go for a walk. Them flowers in the church are lovely.
Thanks Jo.

Thank you very much, appreciated.
The season of mud is finally over? A lovely little ramble there but you did pass a foxglove rather than a hollyhock as already pointed out!!
Thanks Jean.

Thanks Matthew, in retrospect I sort of thought it was more likely a Keeper’s Cottage.
